Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan persepsi masyarakat Surabaya mengenai isi pemberitaan persyaratan perjalanan dalam negeri pada masa pandemi di media online. Berdasarkan pantauan pemerintah pada akhir tahun 2021 bahswasannya gerakan vaksinasi telah memenuhi target dan kasus penyebaran Covid-19 sudah terkontrol. Sehingga terjadi pelonggaran mobilitas yang dimanfatakan masyarakat untuk melakukan kegiatan bepergian ke luar kota, mengingat sebelumnya pemerintah melanggar masyarakatnya untuk bepergian. Agar penyebaran kasus tetap terkontrol, pemerintah memperketat aturan atau syarat yang harus dipenuhi masyarakat sebelum bepergian yang tercantum melalui Surat Edaran Satgas Covid-19 Nomor 21 Tahun 2021. Selang beberapa hari kemudian, pemerintah kembali memperbarui persyartan perjalanan melalui Surat Edaran Menteri Perhubungan No. 90, lalu adanya pembaruan kembali melalui Surat Edaran Satgas Covid-19 Nomor 22 Tahun 2021. Perubahan kebijakan yang beberapa kali terjadi dalam waktu dekat tersebut menjadi fenomena sosial yang mengundang pro dan kontra sehingga menarik untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini menggambarkan persepsi masyrakat Surabaya dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriktif. Data primer didapatkan dengan mewawancarai delapan informan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan enam dari delapan informan tergolong persepsi negatif karena menyatakan ketidakefektifan persyartan, sedangkan dua informan lainnya tergolong persepsi positif karena berpendapat persyartan tersebut efektif.

Abstract

Language Internationalization has long been sparked and is the mission of academics who always fight for Indonesian as a national identity. A variety of ways including promoting the culture of Indonesia that are attractive to foreigners aim to want to learn languages and cultures that are referred to as foreign speakers. Surabaya as one of the biggest cities in Indonesia becomes a reference in knowing the culture such as Javanese culture, typical dialect language, history of heroism and historical attractions of the city. The explicit problem is to introduce the history of the city of Surabaya in learning materials in the class listening to the Darmasiswa class. Understanding history is expected to be a bridge in knowing culture and bringing Indonesian to be easily studied by foreign speakers, it is also to find out the success of students in listening to the history material of the city of Surabaya. The research method through a qualitative descriptive approach with the results of data analysis of interviews and observations of learning in class, is expected to form a learning based on local wisdom that is more devoted to the history of the city of Surabaya able to obtain learning objectives, especially success in knowing the language and culture in the effort to internationalize Indonesian.

Abstract

The tourism industry in Surabaya has had to adapt to the changing times marked by the entry of foreign languages into Indonesia. The phenomenon of the use of foreign languages in public spaces is often a problem. For that reason, this article was written based on research conducted to analyze the use of language and writing skills in Indonesian and foreign languages in one of the branches of tourism in Surabaya, namely Museum Sepuluh Nopember. This research is qualitative descriptive in nature using primary data from direct data sources, namely the utilization of indonesian in the tourism industry of Museum Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya. Data collection is done by documentation and observation method. In addition, the analytical method used is descriptive qualitative. Based on the analysis that has been done, the use of Indonesian in the Museum Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya tourism industry is not optimal. There are still several formats for the using and spelling of Indonesian and foreign languages that need to be corrected according to regulations of language institutions and the law on language use.

Abstract

Emotional closeness is fundamental in a harmonious family which is often implemented with interaction between parents and children, but interaction is not always the main thing but behavior, habits, touch or physical contact also greatly affect emotional closeness. This study aims to explore the form of emotional closeness that is formed between parents and children in the film ‘Pulang’, the theme of the film is family conflict which focuses on Pras (Ringgo Agus) and Rindu (Ziva Magnolya) during their trip to Jogjakarta. By using John Fiske's semiotic analysis with its three levels, the research results can be presented in the form of a representation of emotional closeness at the level of reality which is confirmed through dynamic interactions, freedom of expression and gestures as a form of care and affection. The level representation highlighted in the camera technique (shots) has shown signs at the level of reality as evidenced by the interactions between the characters. The ideological level found is Liberalism which is applied in parenting, education and early child development by parents in influencing emotional closeness. Then the form of emotional closeness that is formed is a secure attachment pattern that constructs a high emotional reality closeness to the characters Pras and Rindu. Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in economic development because of their considerable contribution to job creation and improving people's welfare. Problems that often arise in MSMEs include limited capital, lack of innovation, conventional marketing, inefficient financial management, weak branding, lack of innovation, not maximizing online marketing due to technological stuttering. This research focuses on empowering MSMEs for branding strategies in competitive batik products in order to win the market based on the concept of blue ocean strategy. This study used qualitative research methods. The research location is Kampoeng Batik Jetis, Sidoarjo Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and observations. The unit of research analysis is the individual level of MSME actors. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data analysis of this study used qualitative data analysis techniques following Miles and Huberman. Conclusion Branding strategy on batik product competition in order to be able to win the market based on the concept of blue ocean strategy by: (a) added value (b) creating and (c) enhancing features and benefits.  Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) memainkan peran penting pembangunan ekonomi karena kontribusinya yang cukup besar terhadap penciptaan lapangan kerja dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Persoalan yang kerap muncul pada UMKM diantaranya adalah terbatas modal, kurang inovasi, pemasaran konvensional, pengelolaan keuangan tidak efisien, branding yang lemah, kurangnya inovasi, belum memaksimalkan pemasaran online karena gagap teknologi. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada pemberdayaan UMKM untuk strategi branding pada persaingan produk batik agar memenangkan pasar berdasarkan konsep blue ocean strategy. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di Kampoeng Batik Jetis Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, studi dokumentasi, dan observasi. Unit analisis penelitian adalah tingkatan individu pelaku UMKM. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif mengikuti Miles dan Huberman. Kesimpulan Strategi branding pada persaingan produk batik agar mampu memenangkan pasar berdasarkan konsep blue ocean strategy dengan: (a) nilai tambah (b) menciptakan dan (c) peningkatan fitur dan manfaat.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana Penerimaan Masyarakat Surabaya terhadap bahasa Gaul di Media Sosial.Teori yang digunakan penelitian ini teori SOR, Sikap, dan Peneriman (Reception) pendapat Hall. Metode yang digunakan metode kualitatif, dengan analisis penerimaan (Reception) pendapat Hall yang terdiri The dominant-hegemonic, The negotiated rading, dan The oppositional reading. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan masyarakat Surabaya menerima (The negotiated) terhadap bahasa Gaul di media sosial dengan argumentasi bahasa Gaul tidak digunakan di forum resmi atau formal. Bahasa gaul sekarang digunakan sebagai bahasa bisnis terutama bisnis daring.
