Abstract

This research is a descriptive study with a correlation type involving seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Leihitu. Research variables, namely variables of interest in learning and achievement of physics learning outcomes, while the data analysis technique is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis with the correlation method. The results of this study prove that students' interest in learning provides a significant relationship with the achievement of learning outcomes in physics. The results illustrate that students' interest in learning who is taught using problem solving methods can affect student concentration in learning in order to achieve learning outcomes outcomes of physics. In using the problemsolving method, students think more and act creatively in solving problems, where the teacher involves more students as subjects who seek and solve on their own and not as objects that only receive information from the teacher, so that students can actively learn and appreciate knowledge. which theyreceive at school in order to develop their knowledge and skills

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve critical thinking skill of students class XI Science 1 at SMA Negeri 2 Masamba through creative problem solving learning model. This is a class action research by subjet of student of class XI. Science I at problem solving. Masamba of academic year 2015/2016 whiech consis 36 students.The result is show that (1) learning activities of students thaught by creative problem solving learning model have improvie from cycle I to cycle II (2) observation result of learning manegement by teacher on the cycle 1 and cycle II over 80% thus it is categorized is very good (3) the average (3) the average value of the results of the test of critical thinking skills of students has increased from the first cycle of 72 to 81 in the second cycle, (4) the thoroughness of the individual and the traditional skills of critical thinking of students has increased from 62.86% in the first cycle to 88.57 % in the second cycle.

Abstract

Wonorejo Mangrove ecotourism is one of the largest ecotourism locations in East Java, Surabaya. The Wonorejo Mangrove since 2008 has been transformed into a tourist destination that provides education to the public about the importance of the environment, but because the location in Surabaya is only known by its name but not by its place and destination, this is because the name Surabaya is attached as a metropolitan city, trade, and transit. goods between provinces. So it is necessary to do a promotion strategy for mangrove tourism in Wonorejo. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach where this approach tries to understand the phenomenon in its natural setting and context, where the researcher does not manipulate the observed phenomena, then analyzes the data using qualitative descriptive and triangulation. The concept of tourism promotion uses the AISAS concept, namely Attention, Interest, Search, Action, and Share. The tourism promotion strategy was developed through holding events, exhibitions, distributing brochures and promotions through social media. Key Words: Mangroves, Ecotourism, Strategy, Promotion
