Abstract

One of the important themes of property rights in which the Qur'an provides the position of property rights, both how to obtain property rights, maintain property rights and distribute wealth that has been syarized. This paper aims to reveal the role of the Qur'an in maintaining property rights and distributing property so as to create a balance of property. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative and tafsir approach from the language of the verse in the Qur'an relating to maintaining property rights and distributing wealth. Abstract

This research examines the role of piety in promoting social justice, with a particular focus on the growing economic inequality in society. Piety, defined as moral and spiritual awareness of responsibility to God, is expected to motivate individuals and communities to act justly and contribute to the improvement of social welfare. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study integrates the concept of piety with the theory of social justice proposed by John Rawls, which emphasizes the importance of fair and equitable distribution of resources. The results show that piety has great potential as a driver of inclusive and equitable social policies, encouraging individuals to care more about others. However, challenges in its implementation, including ambiguity in understanding and misuse of piety values to justify injustice, remain to be overcome for piety to truly become a tool for change. The findings are expected to make a significant contribution to the development of more just and equitable public policies, and inspire concrete actions in a more prosperous society.

Abstract

Background: In the science of Qiraat, the problem of vowel reading on letters and words in the Qur'an is still much that has not been revealed, both from the aspect of classical and modern scholarly opinions. Purpose: This study aims to describe and introduce several rules about the process of occurrence of vowel a/i/u in certain words and verses, which are caused by the presence of letters, hamzah, sukun, and ishmam, including exploring new ways of analyzing the phonology of modern Arabic vowels based on standard generative theory. Method: This research is literature research. Primary data sources were obtained by al-Našr fi al-Qirā'at al-Islāmiyyah, and several verses of the Qur'an for comparison. Secondary data sources are literature, both in the form of books, journals, and research results related to phonology. Data collection is carried out by documentation techniques, listening, and recording. Data analysis techniques use open coding, then analyzed descriptively using grounded theory. Results and Discussion: This study informs about the rule that the variety of vowel punctuation on some verbs in the Qur'an will change according to the readings attributed to the ten Qira'at. The Vowel sign emphasizes the reading of dhamma/kasrah). The emphasis mark on nouns requires the insertion of dhamma while on verbs and insertion of kasrah. The round distinguishing mark (sifr) is important in turning kasrah into dhamma. Both Kasrah and dhamma have the property of 'Al, but some of them are distinguished by round marks on dhamma and square marks on kasrah. The Vowel sign for classical scholars indicates that the kasrah from the letter "waw" in the verb "qul" moved to the letter "qaf" after hadzf dhamma, then "waw" changed to "ya" to correspond to the kasrah in front of it. Modern linguists believe that the dhamma of the letter "qaf" can be changed to Kasrah and then "waw" removed, so that the existence of the two kasrahs is merged and becomes a long shaddah Conclusions and Implications: The differences and changes in vowels in phonetics cannot be separated from the debate that exists between classical and modern scholars. This indicates that the problem of qira'at is closely related to diacritical marks that are icons of producing sounds with various characters. This research has implications that having to study Qur'anic verses from a Vowel aspect will require us to see how scholars used to read so that the sounds produced are not only one variant but have a variety of very detailed and interesting reasons to be studied based on modern linguistic theory.

Abstract

Sirri marriages are marriages not officially registered marriages with state institutions, conducted secretly, or otherwise not made public. The practice has drawn past controversy in Islamic law and state law, particularly with regard to protection rights for women and children. In the eyes of Islamic law, this marriage is legitimate if it fulfills the conditions and pillars as established in the presence of a guardian (wali), two witnesses, and the submission of the marriage contract (ijab and qabul). The fact of an unregistered marriage implies potential legal and social problems associated with its consonance with the values of justice and transparency according to the Qur'an. This research intends to study the Qur'an's role in addressing the occurrence of unregistered marriages, particularly covering verses focusing on the importance of documentation, testimony, and openness in marriage affairs. A hermeneutical approach will help unravel the meanings of Qur'anic verses such as QS. Al-Baqarah [2]: 282 and QS. An-Nisa' [4]: 1 in attempts to establish a more holistic legal interpretation of the findings, suggesting that unregistered marriages qualify as legitimate in religious terms if they meet the pillars and conditions; however, this practice is contradictory to the major principles of transparency and justice and the protection of rights that the Qur'an teaches. Hence, it recommends the requirement of registration as one of these forms of *maṣlahah mursalah* and, thus, a public benefit to prevent social unrest and maintain rights of all concerned parties. This will thus provide a considerable found basis for addressing unregistered marriages from the purview of the Qur'an concerning whether or not they can be religiously valid and legally certain.
