Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of population and GRDP on people's consumption levels in North Sumatra Province. This research uses a regression model using the Error Correction Model (ECM) method and uses secondary data. The research results show that Population and GRDP have a positive and significant impact on public consumption in the long term, but there is no significant impact in the short term. The regression model shows a positive relationship between the variables Population, GRDP, and Public Consumption. The classical assumptions of this model are met. This research provides important insights regarding economic development policies, sustainable population growth, and balanced GRDP growth. Factors such as income, unemployment and economic conditions also influence people's consumption patterns. Suggestions for further research are also suggested to gain a deeper understanding of the factors that influence public consumption in the region.

Abstract

Halal lifestyle continues to experience improvement from time to time. One sector that has experienced a drastic increase is halal skincare or skincae labeled halal. Various halal skincare brands on the market such as wardah, makeover somethink. With the increasing prevalence of skincare labeled halal, companies must prioritize not only quality but also external factors that support consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to determine the effect of brand image, brand ambassador, and halal awareness on the purchase of skincare labeled halal. The research was conducted using quantitative research methods with random sampling method. From the data collected, it will be processed to find out brand image, brand ambassadors, and halal awareness of purchasing skincare labeled halal. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perubahan demografi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Dalam beberapa dekade terakhir, Indonesia telah mengalami perubahan signifikan dalam struktur demografi, termasuk penurunan tingkat kelahiran, peningkatan harapan hidup, dan pergeseran komposisi usia penduduk. Perubahan ini diperkirakan memiliki implikasi penting bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur untuk menganalisis pengaruh perubahan demografi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Metode kualitatif dipilih untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai fenomena perubahan demografi dan implikasinya terhadap perekonomian, serta untuk mengeksplorasi pandangan para ahli dan pemangku kepentingan terkait isu ini. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan fokus pada perubahan demografi di Indonesia dan dampaknya terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Studi kasus memungkinkan peneliti untuk mengkaji secara mendalam dinamika yang kompleks dan interaksi antara variabel-variabel yang terlibat. Studi literatur dilakukan dengan mempelajari berbagai sumber tertulis seperti buku, jurnal, Analisis dokumen dan laporan resmi dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), World Bank, dan instansi terkait lainnya untuk memahami tren demografi dan ekonomi.Variabel demografi yang diteliti meliputi tingkat kelahiran, tingkat kematian, harapan hidup, dan proporsi penduduk usia produktif (15-64 tahun).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penurunan tingkat kelahiran dan peningkatan harapan hidup memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, dengan efek yang berbeda pada berbagai sektor ekonomi.Kata Kunci: Perubahan Demografi, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Bonus Demografi, Indonesia, Kebijakan Ekonomi
