Abstract

Google Meet merupakan aplikasi video conference yang digunakan untuk kegiatan jarak jauh secara online. Google Meet memiliki fitur-fitur yang mudah digunakan dan dapat melakukan panggilan video berkualitas tinggi. Penggunaan aplikasi Google Meet dalam sehari bisa mencapai 100 juta pengguna. Namun setelah menggunakan aplikasi Google Meet terdapat perbedaan pendapat memberikan rasa kepuasan dan ketidakpuasan terhadap aplikasi Google Meet. Hal ini dapat diamati dari ulasan yang diberikan pengguna pada kolom komentar di Play Store. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode logistic regression dan dilakukan analisis sentimen pengguna aplikasi Google Meet yang bertujuan mengelompokkan ulasan pengguna dalam bentuk sentimen positif, negatif dan netral. Sampel data yang digunakan adalah 700 data ulasan pengguna Google Meet, pengujian analisis sentimen dilakukan menggunakan metode logistic regression menunjukkan nilai akurasi sebesar 79.59%, dengan rincian ulasan negatif memiliki precision 100%, recall 16.67%, dan f1-score 28.57%. Ulasan netral memiliki precision 0%, recall 0%, dan f1-score 0%. Ulasan positif memiliki precision 79.02%, recall 100%, dan f1-score 88.28%. Secara umum didapatkan informasi mengenai kata yang paling sering muncul dalam kelas sentimen positif adalah bagus,  mudah, mantap, oke, bantu,  gambar,  suara jernih,  bermanfaat, keren,  lancar, baru, coba, kualitas gambar baik, suka dan terimakasih. Sedangkan untuk kelas negatif didapatkan informasi mengenai kata yang paling sering muncul dalam kelas sentimen negatif adalah jelek, hapus, sulit, dan lambat. Dengan penelitian tersebut dapat dijadikan acuan dalam meningkatkan kualitas aplikasi Google Meet.

Abstract

Research Based Learning (RBL) yang terintegrasi dengan STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) menjadi pendekatan inovatif dalam pendidikan untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi dunia yang semakin maju dan berbasis teknologi. Dalam konteks ini, metaliterasi memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Metaliterasi meliputi kemampuan untuk mengelola, mengevaluasi, dan memahami literasi digital, informasi, dan media, yang sangat krusial bagi mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan analitis terhadap informasi, terutama yang berasal dari teknologi digital. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan Research Based Learning (RBL) yang terintegrasi dengan STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) untuk meningkatkan metaliterasi mahasiswa, khususnya dalam klasifikasi tanaman menggunakan Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggambarkan kerangka RBL dengan pendekatan STEM yang dirancang untuk mahasiswa pendidikan biologi dalam mengklasifikasikan Musa acuminata L. (pisang). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kerangka pembelajaran konseptual RBL dengan pendekatan STEM yang dihasilkan memberikan pedoman untuk penerapan analisis klasifikasi Musa acuminata L. di kelas, menekankan pentingnya literasi digital, media, dan informasi dalam konteks teknologi modern.

Abstract

This study investigates the phenotypic alterations in Dendrobium 'Transient White Rika' (RKA) and 'Florenza' (FLO) orchids resulting from colchicine-induced polyploidy during in vitro cultivation. Colchicine, a known mitotic inhibitor, was applied at varying concentrations (0 ppm, 4000 ppm, 5000 ppm, 6000 ppm) to induce chromosome doubling and assess its impact on the vegetative and generative phases of the orchids. A factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) was employed to analyze the effects of these treatments. The study revealed significant variations in leaf length and color, particularly at higher colchicine concentrations. Morphological changes were most pronounced at 6000 ppm, where the leaf length decreased, and flower morphology exhibited unique features compared to the control. The study also observed a reduction in stomatal density as colchicine concentration increased, correlating with an enlargement of leaf epidermal cells. These findings indicate that colchicine treatment can effectively induce phenotypic changes in Dendrobium orchids, contributing to the development of hybrids with superior ornamental qualities. However, the study also notes that the response to colchicine is variable, with certain parameters like the number of new shoots and leaf width not showing significant changes. The results underscore the potential of colchicine-induced polyploidy in orchid breeding, though further research is necessary to optimize treatment protocols and ensure the stability and viability of the resulting hybrids. These findings may serve as valuable material for genetics-based learning modules in biology.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia has experienced several curriculum changes. The curriculum is used as a tool to achieve educational goals. The curriculum plays an important role in education by preparing learning plans which include subjects, teaching methods, and teaching materials prepared for students' learning process in acquiring knowledge. Basically, the Independent Curriculum requires educational units in schools to provide full support to students, not only in learning methods but also by providing adequate resources. This research aims to determine the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data used in this research is primary data obtained from direct observation in the field, while secondary data was collected from reference source for journal articles. The research results show that the Independent Curriculum policy has been determined clearly and in detail by policy makers. However, in its implementation, there are resource challenges in implementing the Independent Curriculum policy at SMP Negeri 11 Surabaya. Policy implementers have the responsibility to provide the necessary resources to ensure the smooth implementation of established policies. In this way, policy implementation can be carried out well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh financial attitude, financial knowledge, dan personal income terhadap personal financial management behavior. Jenis penelitian ini explanatory research yang menjelaskan hubungan antara variabel-variabel melalui pengujian hipotesis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden karyawan generasi milenial PT. Petrokimia Gresik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan program SPSS Versi 20. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen yaitu financial attitude, financial knowledge, dan personal income berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap personal financial management behavior. Karyawan generasi milenial PT. Petrokimia Gresik penting untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap pengelolaan keuangan pribadi secara berkala agar dapat meningkatkan personal financial management behavior sehingga menghindari terjadinya resiko dan permasalahan keuangan dimasa yang akan datang. Kata Kunci: Financial Attitude, Financial Knowledge, Personal Income, Personal Financial Management Behavior.

Abstract

The global fossil fuel crisis and demand for sustainable renewable energy sources have driven the development of biomass-based alternative fuels. Cascara, a coffee husk by-product with high cellulose content and wide availability, has strong potential for conversion into biomass briquettes; however, improvements in fuel quality and energy conversion efficiency are needed. This study aims to improve the physical, thermal, mechanical, and emission performance of cascara briquettes by varying the composition of cascara leaves, bletong, and Tectona grandis, as well as integrating the optimized briquettes as a heat source in a thermoelectric generator (TEG) system. This study also evaluates the effectiveness of applying a STEM-based Research-Based Learning (RBL-STEM) model in improving students' creative thinking skills. This study was conducted in two stages. The experimental stage used a completely randomized design with ten briquette formulations and tested the calorific value, combustion rate, impact strength, and emissions. The learning stage applied the research results to 35 students using a single-group pretest-posttest design. The data were analyzed using instrument validation, normality tests, correlation analysis, and paired sample t-tests. The best formulation (70:20:10) produced the highest calorific value, while 50:30:20 produced the lowest emissions. The implementation of RBL-STEM significantly improved students' creative thinking performance.
