Abstract

Indonesia memiliki kondisi geologis dan geografis yang beragam. Kondisi yang beragam  tersebut membuat daerah berbukit dan lereng banyak digunakan sebagai tempat tinggal. Banyak kondisi tanah dan lereng yang tidak stabil. Sehingga berpotensi terjadi longsor. Oleh karena itu, harus ada perkuatan pada kondisi tanah seperti itu sebagai cara untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Pada awalnya, pemerintah sudah membangun dinding penahan tanah di tepi lereng tersebut, tetapi masih belum memadai dan belum mampu menahan kelongsoran tanah di daerah tersebut. Melalui analisis data yang diperoleh, diketahui dinding penahan tanah dengan panjang 375 m dengan ketinggian antara 8 m sampai dengan 8,5 m  mengalami kerusakan pada bagian struktur  sepanjang 90 m dikarenakan pergeseran tanah pada daerah tersebut. Pada perbaikan diperoleh desain perkuatan soil nailing dengan diameter baja ulir 0,032 m, diameter injeksi semen 0,3 m, jumlah tulangan vertikal yang dipakai 8 m, spasi jarak tulangan baja vertikal 1 m dan horisontal 2 m, panjang tulangan baja ulir yang digunakan ialah 3 batang ulir dari puncak lereng 10 m dan 5 batang ulir dari dasar lereng 12 m. Dari hasil analisa dengan menggunakan SLOPE/W diperoleh desain tersebut mampu menahan kelongsoran dengan angka keamanan  yang didapatkan ialah 1,575. Selain itu hasil dari desain tersebut diperoleh anggaran biaya senilai: Rp 1.993.665.000,00 (Satu Milyar Sembilan Ratus Sembilan Puluh Tiga Enam Ratus Enam Puluh Lima Ribu Rupiah). Abstract

Penelitian ini berupa analisa untuk menentukan nilai dari penurunan tanah akibat pekerjaan galian dalam di Jakarta Pusat. Perhitungan analisis menggunakan metode elemen hingga 3D dengan parameter kuat geser tanah sebagai parameter input yang digunakan dalam simulasi. Hasil yang diperoleh akan digunakan sebagai bahan komparasi atau perbandingan dengan beberapa metode perhitungan pendekatan empiris oleh penelitian sebelumnya berdasarkan hasil simulasi nilai dari pergerakan dinding galian dalam secara horisontal. Pada penelitian kali ini juga akan ditampilkan pendekatan empiris yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisa penurunan tanah pada proyek serupa di Jakarta Pusat dengan kondisi karakteristik tanah yang serupa.

Abstract

This research analyses the skewer foundation with Plaxis 2D considering the stability before and after drawdown conditions of the sea level with variations in the point load on the foundation. The study is carried out using the back-analysis method with the assumption that the protective building foundation is in a balanced state with the safety factor (SF) = 1.5. As a result, the stability of the rapid drawdown gave a different value which is the skewer foundation before rapid drawdown showed a better result of the performance of foundation during point load than after drawdown. Before drawdown conditions, the value of the point load (P) is 12 Tons. Meanwhile, after drawdown conditions, the skewer foundation is only able to accept a load of 5 tons. The value of the movement of the skewer foundation before and after the drawdown of sea-level conditions occurred at the same settlement value of about 0.0179 m = 1.18 cm. In this condition, the skewer foundation is considered capable of resisting the settlement issue where the maximum settlement value for shallow foundations for clay soils is not greater than 65 mm.

Abstract

Musholla Jabalus Salam dengan luas bangunan sekitar 64 m2, luas lahan sebesar 152 m2, dan berlokasi di Jalan Tamansari Kelurahan Graha Indah Kota Balikpapan masih dalam tahap pembangunan. Musholla ini dimulai pembangunannya pada pertengahan tahun 2021 dengan hanya mengandalkan swadaya masyarakat yang bermukin di Perumahan tersebut sebagai sumber keuangannya. Musholla ini diharapkan dapat digunakan untuk tempat beribadah pada bulan April 2022 atau bulan Ramadhan dengan setidaknya bagian dalam bangunan telah dapat digunakan. Kebutuhan akan toilet yang memadai dengan 2 toilet, sehingga pelengkap Musholla. Proses kegiatan dilakukan dengan mendesain kebutuhan toilet sesuai kapasitas jamaah dan proses pelaksanaan pembangunan. Program ini berguna juga sebagai pemberdayaan kegotong-royongan antar warga di sekitar lokasi tersebut. Warga sekitar juga terlibat secara langsung dalam proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan perawatan bangunan toilet tersebut.

Abstract

Road damage that occurred on the road of Tani Bakti village in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, the damage factor occurred because of the need for people to use heavy vehicles to transport crops, resulting in reduced quality and life of the pavement. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of the pavement as well as recommendations for improvement and budget plan Road Village Tani Bakti. The method used in this study is the method of highways, in determining the value of road damage conditions and calculate the pavement thickness plan. In the calculation of pavement thickness plan there are road condition data, Lhr data and Dcp data. In calculating the budget plan with AHSP 2021 balikpapan data. The results of this study indicate that the level of damage in the village of Tani Bakti has a fairly high level of damage that must be done routine maintenance of roads. Based on the results of damage analysis obtained recommendations that Overlay repair. Based on the analysis of the cost calculation, the Overlay repair cost is Rp. 14.524.436.000. Improvement on the road of Desa Tani Bakti should be focused on increasing road capacity by increasing the width of the pavement, then monitoring the damage is needed if there is damage then immediately held appropriate repairs and the existence of damage documents, Road technical data, traffic data which at times is very necessary as a basis for annual routine road handling activities.

Abstract

This paper showcases a potential solution to improve soil bearing capacity using tire-derived-geo-cylinder (TDGC). TDGC uses used tires to provide confining pressure and tensile strength, hence improving the soil’s bearing capacity. The solution is applied for a haul road project on Jalan Sikar Penajam Paser. The site is frequently passed by large vehicles such as large trucks for the transportation of wooden logs and other heavy equipment. The tires used for TDGC are used tires of type LT245/75R16, which has a standard rim of 16 mm, a tire width of 248 mm, and an overall diameter of 780 mm. This category of tires has a load index of 1250-1600 kg. The load index is the value representing the tire's capacity to withstand load. The improvement in bearing capacity is evaluated using dynamic cone penetrometer (DCP) tests. In addition, the DCP tests were also used to interpret the Californian Bearing Ratio (CBR) values. The results show that without TDGC, the average CBR value is only 4.7%. In contrast, with TDGC, the average CBR increased to 17.2%, an increase of 265%. The CBR value obtained with TDGC places the soil into fair category for Subbase course. The average bearing capacity value obtained before TDGC was about 75 kN/m2 and with TDGC, the soil experienced a significant increase in bearing capacity value to 245 kN/m2. The increase of bearing capacity and CBR value from application of TDGC are due to the combination of the tires and stone fill. The tires provide tensile strength to resist lateral soil pressure as well as increased confining pressure, hence increasing the compressive strength.

Abstract

Balikpapan City is a city that often experiences floods. One of the most frequently flooded locations is Gang Mufakat, which is located in Damai Village, South Balikpapan. This area is an area passed by the Ampal River Basin which is one of the causes of flooding besides the lack of vegetation as land cover in the settlement. This research aims to identify the management and control/control of floods in general. This is done to obtain information on several things that are considered important in management and to assess the understanding of the community and government regarding flood control/management. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. This research results from the community's understanding of floods and community actions in dealing with floods. Understanding of flooding in the form of causes of flooding, and the importance of the role of vegetation on land cover and the creation of infiltration wells. The recommendation for the government is to dredge sedimentation as well as deepen the Ampal watershed, and create a polder as a substitute for water catchment areas because there are many residential areas around the Ampal watershed which do not allow water to flow directly into the watershed. The recommendation for the community is to build an infiltration well in the Gang Mufakat.

Abstract

Jalan poros Samarinda – Bontang merupakan jalan nasional yang menghubungkan kota Samarinda dan kota Bontang. Longsoran yang terjadi di Sta.3+450 dapat membahayakan pengguna jalan. Diperlukan suatu penanganan untuk meningkatkan stabilitas lereng tersebut dengan melakukan analisa stabilitas lereng dengan menggunakan aplikasi plaxis 2D. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai faktor keamanan stabilitas lereng setelah menggunakan perkuatan existing pasangan batu dan dinding penahan tanah bronjong dengan bore pile. Parameter tanah yang digunakan adalah model parameter Hardening Soil (HS) Undrained B. Tanah dibagi kedalam tiga lapisan dengan konsistensi lapisan lempung kelanauan bercampur laterit (0-2 m), lempung berpasir (2-6 m), dan batu lempung (6-16 m). Pada analisis stabilitas lereng menggunakan nilai beban lalu lintas sebesar 100 kN/m2 berpengaruh terhadap stabilitas lereng. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan nilai faktor keamanan stabilitas lereng dengan perkuatan existing pasangan batu sebesar 1,346 < 1,5 dimana nilai tersebut dikategorikan tidak aman. Hasil analisis stabilitas lereng dengan perkuatan dinding penahan tanah bronjong dan bore pile didapatkan nilai faktor keamanan sebesar 1,604 > 1,5 bahwa perkuatan stabilitas lereng tersebut dikategorikan aman karena memenuhi syarat angka keamanan sebesar 1,5 (Safety Factor > 1,5).

Abstract

Tanah lempung memiliki kembang susut dan daya dukung rendah. Pembuatan beton menghasilkan limbah berupa sampel uji kuat tekan beton yang berdampak negatif pada lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggunakan limbah sampel uji kuat tekan beton sebagai bahan stabilisasi tanah lempung, meningkatkan daya dukung tanah dan mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi pengaruh limbah beton terhadap daya dukung tanah lempung melalui pengujian CBR unsoaked. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian eksperimental. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap tanah asli dengan mengukur kadar air, melakukan analisa saringan, menguji atterberg limit, mengukur berat jenis, dan berat volume. Data hasil pengujian akan digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan jenis tanah menggunakan metode USCS. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pengujian pemadatan tanah ringan untuk mendapatkan nilai kadar air optimum dan berat isi kering maksimum. Data ini akan digunakan dalam pengujian CBR Laboratorium unsoaked pada tanah asli serta pengujian CBR Laboratorium unsoaked dengan campuran limbah beton dalam variasi 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, dan 25%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian laboratorium dan analisis data tanah asli serta tanah yang dicampur dengan limbah sampel uji kuat tekan beton, ditemukan bahwa nilai CBR pada tanah asli di sekitar workshop Teknik Sipil Poltekba di Balikpapan Utara, Kalimantan Timur adalah 10,78%. Hasil pengujian CBR menunjukkan bahwa penambahan limbah beton sebesar 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, dan 25% menghasilkan peningkatan nilai CBR secara berturut-turut menjadi 13,48%, 15,75%, 18,88%, 22,69%, dan 26,87%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan limbah sampel uji kuat tekan beton dapat meningkatkan daya dukung tanah lempung. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan teknologi stabilisasi tanah yang efektif dan ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Cut and fill work is a critical initial stage in toll road construction, including the IKN Toll Road Project Section 1B spanning the Bandara Sepinggan – Balsam Toll segment. The effective use of heavy equipment is a key factor influencing the speed and quality of earthwork operations in this project. This study aims to analyze the productivity of excavators, dump trucks, and bulldozers, as well as determine the optimal number of heavy equipment units based on actual operational conditions in the field. A quantitative research method was employed by collecting primary data such as cycle time and equipment efficiency, along with secondary data including equipment capacity and production targets. The results indicate that excavators with bucket capacities of 0.93 m³ and 1.4 m³ have similar productivity levels of approximately 100 m³/hour, requiring nine units each. Dump trucks with capacities of 22 m³ and 10 m³ produce 32.73 m³/hour and 29.03 m³/hour, with required units of 26 and 30, respectively. The bulldozer shows a productivity of 93.2 m³/hour requiring five units. The findings highlight that productivity is influenced not only by equipment capacity but also by cycle time and operational efficiency. The study concludes that planning based on actual field data is crucial for determining the required heavy equipment efficiently and preventing resource inefficiencies.
