Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of interest rates on customer funds in Islamic banks and identify strategies that can be implemented by Islamic banks to maintain and increase customer trust and loyalty. This research uses a qualitative approach, by collecting data through in-depth interviews with customers and managers of Islamic banks as well as analysis of related literature. The research results show that changes in conventional interest rates can influence customers' decisions in depositing or withdrawing their funds at Islamic banks. To overcome this, Islamic banks need to develop investment portfolio diversification strategies, including products that provide protection against inflation such as real assets. In addition, Islamic banks must improve transparency, staff professionalism and customer service quality. Education and effective communication regarding the benefits and advantages of sharia products are also important to build customer trust and loyalty. The practical implications of this research include developing competitive products, increasing the use of digital technology for customer service, and regularly evaluating and adjusting strategies to respond to market changes. By implementing these measures, Islamic banks can increase their competitiveness, maintain customer loyalty, and achieve sustainable growth.

Abstract

This study discusses the relevance of the prohibition of usury in the hadith in the digital era, focusing on the application of sharia principles in modern financial technologies such as fintech, cryptocurrency, and online lending. The purpose of the study is to explore the concept of usury in the hadith and identify its implications for the contemporary digital financial system. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data collection was conducted through library research, using primary sources in the form of relevant hadith texts and secondary sources such as journal articles and books. The data were analyzed using a thematic approach to identify the relevance of the prohibition of usury in digital financial transactions. The results show that although digital financial technology offers wider financial inclusion, some financial products still have the potential to involve usury practices. The implications of this study include the need for stricter regulations, development of sharia-based fintech products, and improvement of public financial literacy. Thus, the prohibition of usury in the hadith remains relevant as a guide in facing the challenges of modern financial technology in order to achieve economic justice in accordance with sharia principles.

Abstract

Wage disparity in Indonesia reflects a significant challenge in social justice, particularly within the wage system. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors contributing to wage inequity, including policies, corporate practices, and gender and sectoral inequalities. Using a qualitative approach, the study explores perspectives from various stakeholders, such as workers, employers, and regulators, while utilizing policy data and relevant documents for analysis. The findings reveal that structural injustices in wage distribution have widened the gap between high- and low-income workers. Factors such as differences in education, experience, and geographic location significantly contribute to this disparity. Gender-based inequality is also a major concern, with women often receiving lower wages than men despite having equivalent qualifications. In terms of policy, the study found that minimum wage regulations are often insufficient to address these inequalities. A lack of transparency in wage determination and weak regulatory enforcement exacerbate the issue. Theoretical frameworks, such as John Rawls' theory of justice, emphasize the importance of redistributing wages to benefit the most disadvantaged groups, while the efficiency wage theory suggests that higher wages can enhance worker productivity. This study recommends reforms in wage policies focused on distributive justice, increased transparency, and strengthened government regulations. These approaches are expected to create a more inclusive wage system that considers not only economic aspects but also social welfare, fostering sustainable social and economic stability in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article discusses Islamic capital market risk analysis through a fiqh principles approach. The problem formulation includes the definition of investment, the concept of investment in Islamic law, the definition of sharia investment, as well as Islamic law's view of the sharia capital market. The research questions asked include: What is the concept of investment according to Islamic law? What is the difference between investment and speculation in sharia? What is the Islamic perspective on Islamic capital market risks? This research uses a descriptive analysis method with a normative juridical approach, which utilizes secondary data through document study and literature study. The findings show that the sharia capital market is based on the principles of halal, justice and avoidance of elements of usury, gharar and maisir. However, risks such as default on sukuk still exist and require mitigation through the application of the profit sharing principle. The Islamic capital market supports economic sustainability by complying with sharia principles that avoid market manipulation activities and interest-based transactions. This article concludes that the application of fiqh rules in the Islamic capital market not only increases fairness and transparency but also provides sustainable benefits for the economy and society at large.
