Abstract

The POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) model is a constructivism-based learning model that allows students to build their own knowledge. The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of the Lectora Inspire-assisted POE learning model on students' critical thinking skills. The research sample was 32 students of class XI MIPA 1 as the control class and 32 students of XI MIPA 3 as the experimental class. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with nonequivalent control group design where in this study one group was given learning treatment using the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) model assisted by Lectora Inspire and the other group was not given any treatment. The data was obtained through a description test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using T-test analysis, the value of Tcount is 4.309. The value of Tcount is 4.309 mote than Ttable 1.999 at a significance level of 0.05 then Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an influence of the Lectora Inspire-assisted POE learning model on students thinking skills on the bodys defense system material.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Abad ke-21 membawa dampak yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, terutama dalam biologi. Materi sel memiliki karakteristik abstrak dan rumit, sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran yang cocok, efektif dan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis salah satunya yaitu model pembelajaran RADEC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC berbantu nearpod terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu siswa kelas XI-5 dan X-10 dengan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 36 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa soal tes uraian (pretest dan posttest) sebanyak 15 butir soal dengan indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis melalui uji Independent T-Test (Uji t’). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran RADEC berbantu nearpod berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi sel.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and integrate the local wisdom of Kampung Naga as a learning resource in Madrasah to develop the Pancasila Student Profile. The research employed a mixed-method approach with an explanatory design, combining qualitative and quantitative data. Participants included the indigenous community of Kampung Naga, teachers, and students of MI Arrohmah Dadaha Tasikmalaya. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed thematically for qualitative data and by using the N-gain test for quantitative data. Data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings reveal that various forms of local wisdom, such as environmental management, traditional agricultural systems, water conservation, and sustainable living practices, can serve as contextual science learning resources for students. The collaboration between Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and the Kampung Naga community encourages meaningful and applicable learning experiences. This collaborative learning model has been proven to enhance several dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, including being faithful and pious to God Almighty, independent, cooperative, critical-thinking, and creative.
