Abstract

The background of this research is that there are still errors in the practice of making milk kefir in the biotechnology practice guide. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a free inquiry-based kefir worksheet that can be used by prospective teacher students in biotechnology courses. The method used is the research and development method which consists of define, design, and develop stages. Data collection techniques using the method of observation and questionnaires. The subjects of this study were the sixth semester biology education students. The results showed the validity of the questionnaire items had a score of 0.65 with the category of "high" validity. The feasibility test results obtained a value of 88.68% with the category "feasible". Readability test has a value of 87.65 with the category "very high". The average student performance score of 94% with the category of "very good", and the value of the use of worksheet scored 92.56%.

Abstract

There are differences in the content of lactic acid, fat, pro-tein and carbohydrates in the curd kefir and colostrum kefir. The aims of this study were to determine the content of lactic acid, protein, fat, and carbohydrates of curd kefir and colostrum kefir based on the con-centration of starter and fermentation time. Experimental data were collected from a number of experiments at a temperature of 28°C. The method used was the experimental method of CRD 3 × 3 with 3 replications, the data were analyzed by analysis of variance. Good kefir contained high lactic acid, proteins, and carbohydrate and low in fat. The results showed curd kefir with the highest lactic acid con-tent of 1.59 % was at a starter concentration of 20% and a fermen-tation time of 72 hours (d2w3), the highest protein of 2.20% was at a starter concentration of 30% and a fermentation time of 72 hours (d3w3), the lowest fat of 1.16% found at a starter concentration of 30% and a fermentation time of 72 hours (d3w3), and the highest carbohydrate of 4.81% found at a starter concentration of 30% and a fermentation time of 72 hours (d3w3). Whereas in colostrum ke-fir with the highest lactic acid content of 2.83 % found at a starter concentration of 20% and a fermentation time of 72 hours (d2w3), the highest protein of 6.13 % was at a starter concentration of 10% and a fermentation time of 24 hours (d1w1), the lowest fat of 1.58% was at a starter concentration of 30% and fermentation time of 24 hours (d3w1) and the highest carbohydrate content of 17.91% was at a starter concentration of 30% and a fermentation time of 72 hours (d3w3). It can be concluded that the starter concentration and fer-mentation time have a significant effect (α <0.05) on lactic acid, pro-tein, fat, and carbohydrates content of curd kefir and kefir colostrum.

Abstract

Tanaman buah tin (Ficus carica ) merupakan jenis tanaman termasuk famili moraceae memiliki keistimewaan dalam Al-Qur’an dan kaya akan manfaat serta banyak berkembang di wilayah Asia Barat dan Indonesia. Di negara kita sendiri banyak dikembangkan salah satunya di Desa Ciwidey, Kabupaten Bandung. Namun, masih belum banyak pembudidayaan buah tin dalam skala rumah tangga yang dapat membantu dari segi perekonomian di Jawa Barat. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara tentang buah tin dengan warga Desa Cidadap Kabupaten Tasikmalaya sangat tertarik dengan budidayanya karena adanya kondisi pandemik ini pendapatan yang berkaitan dengan sektor wisata dan tangkapan ikan berkurang Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan, memberikan informasi, dan membudidayakan buah tin di daerah Pesisir Pantai berlokasi di Desa Cidadap, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya..Pengabdian melalui tahapan diskusi dengan petani buah tin, memilih bibit unggul, melakukan pembinaan serta pemberdayaan tanaman buah tin. Untuk mengetahui keterlibatan dan pengetahuan warga tentang buah digunakan angket dan lembar wawancara. Dari angket rata-rata nilai sebelum kegiatan 25,45% warga sebagian mengetahui tentang buah tin dan setelah kegiatan budi daya buah tin ini naik menjadi 77,93% yang berarti hampir seluruhnya memahami cara budi daya buah tin. Dengan adanya kegiatan pemberdayaan pengetahuan budi daya buah tin ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan perekonomian warga Desa Cidadap Kabupaten Tasikmalaya.

Abstract

Online and offline learning will have a different impact on the level of understanding of students about learning materials. In this study the researchers tried to find out how the learning activities of Biology Education students at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung during the pandemic were related to changes in routine during the pandemic which affected the enthusiasm for learning and understanding of lecture material during the pandemic compared to before the pandemic. This research uses descriptive research method because in its implementation it includes data, analysis and interpretation of the meaning and data obtained. This study uses a questionnaire, the list of questions is structured in the form of multiple-choice questions and open questions (multiple choice questions and open questions). This method is used to obtain data about the effect of changes in the routine of Biology Education students during the pandemic on learning enthusiasm and understanding the material from respondents. Biology education students admit that there have been significant changes in their routine during the pandemic period. These changes have an impact on student learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan model inkuiriterbimbing, menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi sistem ekskresidengan menggunakan dan tanpa menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing, menganalisispengaruh dan respon model inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswapada materi sistem ekskresi. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas XI MIA 1 dan XI MIA 2SMAN 1 Jalancagak tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalahquasi eksperiment dengan desain, pretest - posttest control group design. Teknikpengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, dan kuesioner berupa angket.Hasil penelitian di kelas yang menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing menghasilkan nilarata-rata pretest 45,90, posttest 80,00, dan gain 33,86, kelas yang tanpa menggunakan modelinkuiri terbimbing menghasilkan nilai rata-rata pretest 43,85, posttest 74,93 dan gain31,60. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 2,20 > ttabel 1,99 dengan a sebesar0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran modelinkuiri terbimbing

Abstract

Technology continues to developing along with the times require people to participate utilize these technologies in various fields, including education.T he teacher need to use a variation of instructional media to increase student mastery of concepts. Against the background of preliminary observations showed low student mastery of concepts, it can be seen based on the average value of the test results is 60 students daily test the average value is still below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set a school that is 75 This shows the low student mastery of concepts. Therefore, to improve students 'mastery of concepts then applied using a model of Instructional Games Hot Potatoes.Tujuan to be achieved, this study describes: a) the activities of teachers and students during the learning process b) Increasing students' mastery of concepts before implementation models using Hot Potatoes Instructional games each cycle c) students' mastery of concepts as applied to the model using the Hot Potatoes Instructional Games in the entire cycle, d) the attitude of students towards using models Instructional Games Hot Potatoes.Penelitian is classroom Action Research is located at SMP 2 Tanjungsiang class VII C amounts to 36 students.The instrument used in this study consisted of the test, namely: material ecosystem to determine students' mastery of concepts, teacher observation sheet activities and attitudes of students using a questionnaire. The results obtained by a) increasing student activity in each cycle, the highest student activity in the third cycle is 85% (high). Activity obtaining teacher during the learning process grounded in the learning stages planned b) Increasing students 'mastery of concepts in the first cycle to 65% (enough), Cycle II 75% (high) and cycle III 87% (high) c) students' mastery of concepts Instructional games after application of the model using the Hot Potatoes by 75% (high) d) students' attitudes toward models using Hot Potatoes Instructional games are overall positive. This is evident from the average score of the students' attitude scores greater than neutral attitude of students.Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the Instructional games with hot potatoes can effectively improve the students' mastery of concepts
