Abstract

The adoption of Population Information System is crucial to enhance work effectiveness and serves as a manifestation of transparency in population data management. The complexity from design to implementation of such a population information system poses its own challenges. There are at least three main issues in system design, namely time estimation, team management, and ensuring the quality of system being developed. These issues must be addressed early on to prevent potential team management problems during the design and development stages of the application. One suitable method that can be employed for the design of the population information system is the Scrum methodology. Scrum is a software development framework that emphasizes a collaborative and adaptive approach. It falls under the Agile methodology, aiming to produce products that are more responsive to changes and enabling teams to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. Scrum also promotes transparency in the development process, aiding in monitoring system progress and information accuracy. Compared to the commonly used Waterfall method, the Scrum approach offers greater flexibility in dealing with changes in requirements or needs that may arise during the development process. While the Waterfall method tends to follow predefined in linear steps. The novelty of this research lies in the proactive approach to addressing the complexity of designing population information systems by implementing Agile methodologies such as Scrum. Thus, it is expected that the implementation of Scrum will bring significant changes in improving the effectiveness and transparency in the development of population information systems.

BEE1 Culinary is located in the culinary area at Cempaka Culinary Center, Jl. Sawo Kecik, Gempol, Condongcatur, District. Depok, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, has started his business for 2 years. This business currently still uses the traditional method, namely by just waiting for people to buy the business's products on the spot. A problem has arisen, namely the lack of people joining the BEE1 culinary project, the main aim of which is to help lower income people to sell with additional capital from the franchise owner, and the profits obtained will be distributed evenly to other branches as well. The output of this activity is the availability of an information system to help promote products in the form of social media such as Facebook and Instagram so that it is hoped that it can increase the number of consumers and have a wider reach and increase orders.

Abstract

The payment system plays an important role in the process of transactions carried out by institutions, agencies, companies and individuals. Problems arise in the use of the payment system at the Bung Karno Hospital which causes hospital services to be inefficient. Problems that arise in the payment system have an impact on patient care and hospital management at the Bung Karno Hospital. The Host to Host payment system is a solution to payment problems at the Bung Karno Hospital. This study uses the Host To Host method with an online basis that is integrated with Bank Jateng. The implementation of the Host To Host system with Bank Jateng makes the patient payment process have an alternative payment method where the patient can pay bills with the features of Bank Jateng. The implementation of the Host To Host System with Bank Jateng at the Bung Karno Hospital makes patient service more efficient. This system also helps the hospital in managing financial management.

Abstract

Lecturers at UIN Jurai Siwo Lampung faced significant challenges in schedule management due to the lack of a centralized system, leading to frequent agenda conflicts and coordination inefficiencies. This research aimed to develop a functional agenda management application and evaluate the effectiveness of the Scrum method in this context. The software development process utilized the Scrum framework, emphasizing iterative sprints to adaptively handle changing user requirements. The results showed that the developed application successfully minimized scheduling overlaps through automated conflict detection features. Additionally, the Scrum method proved effective in accelerating the development cycle and ensuring the product met specific user needs. This study contributes a practical solution for enhancing academic productivity and offers empirical insights into implementing Agile methodologies within educational institutions.
