Abstract

The openness of the reform era and advances in communication, technology and information provide space for the media industry to thrive, from  print, electronic to digital media. The press, an industry that opens up access for anyone, both men and women. Women take advantage of this to participate and choose the press as one of their employment options. As a result, the number of female journalists is increasing. However, regulations for the protection of female journalists have not been specifically created. Female journalists are often faced with obstacles and are even forced to struggle with the risk of gender-based violence. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The aim of the research is to look at the challenges faced by female journalists from West Sumatra in carrying out their profession, as well as the threat of gender-based violence they receive while working in the world of journalism. The research results show that there are a number of problems that female journalists in West Sumatra have to face. The matrilineal concept has two impacts, on the one hand, this culture is a reason for society to respect women, including the group of women journalists, on the other hand, it actually castrates women's freedom to mix in the masculine realm

Abstract

Every human has the same rights in the political contestation of a country, he has the right to be elected and also to vote. Disability groups as part of Indonesian citizens have the right to be actively involved in political activities. Undang-undang No. 7 tahun 2017 is the basis of reference for groups of persons with disabilities to apply to be elected in general elections, but reality shows low perception and trust towards groups of persons with disabilities, the unavailability of quotas and opportunities from supporting political parties. In West Sumatra, the level of political participation of the disabled group is still low. In Sumatera Barat regional head selection in 2020 , the average political participation rate for persons with disabilities only reached 35 percent. This study used descriptive qualitative method. This paper tries to analyze what political rights and needs of groups of persons with disabilities are in implementing the People's Democratic Party and what obstacles occur in efforts to fulfill the political rights of groups of persons with disabilities in West Sumatra. This is necessary, bearing in mind that the next general election will be held again. There is a need to understand the need for political rights of persons with disabilities in order to encourage an increase in the interest and participation of people with disabilities in determining the fate of the Indonesian nation in the future

Abstract

Pancasila, is the basis and ideology used by the Indonesian nation. Pancasila is also the highest guideline and legal basis for administering the life system of the Indonesian nation. Pancasila is actually the main basic capital in creating concern for the country. By continuing to practice Pancasila and upholding Pancasila, the administration of state life in Indonesia can run as it should, so that national resilience can be realized. National resilience is the ability of a country to maintain its existence, protect and defend the condition of the nation with the spirit of defending the country from its people. Upholding Pancasila can be a symbol of true national defense. Including Pancasila as a course in universities is a concrete step towards instilling the values of nationalism and defending the country. In writing, this research was studied using a descriptive qualitative approach, which was processed through literature study from various existing sources. The results of this research show that Pancasila can guide and explain to the younger generation the importance of instilling awareness of national defense in all citizens, especially the millennial generation because they are the successors and heirs to the continuity of national and state life. Education about Pancasila is important in defending the country because it helps the younger generation understand the history, principles and commitment to protecting the country's sovereignty. The packaging in providing Pancasila education and defending the country aims to enable the younger generation to understand more deeply about defending the country and the importance of a sense of nationalism to strengthen state sovereignty.

Abstract

Participation in elections is the right of all people, without exception. Disability groups are a vulnerable group that must be considered every time an election is held. In the 2024 elections, participation by disability groups in the city of Payakumbuh is experiencing an upward trend. This research aims to identify factors that can increase the participation of people with disabilities in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) in Payakumbuh City, viewed from the perspective of siyasah fiqh. In the context of fiqh siyasah provides a basis for understanding political participation as part of social responsibility and religious obligation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach to analyze data collected through in-depth interviews, observations and relevant literature reviews. Based on the research results, it shows that the participation of people with disabilities in elections has been carried out from the initial stages until post-election, starting from actively participating in socialization, discussing the needs of disabled groups in elections, being open and collaborating with the organizers in the data collection stage, voting, to participating in monitoring the results. voting. From the perspective of fiqh sıyasah, participation of persons with disabilities in elections is part of the rights and obligations of citizens to be involved in the political process, as well as efforts to realize justice and equality in state life.

Abstract

Abstrak:  Pengembangan pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Agam tahun mulai 2021 mengalami kemajuan yang amat pesat, keberadaan pesantren sebagai agent of change suatu lembaga utama yang terdepan menciptakan moral anak bangsa. Fundraising pesantren dapat memainkan peran yang signifikan untuk pengembangan pesantren mulai mencari donatur  masyarakat, lembaga dan pemerintahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi model komunikasi fundraising efektif bagi pengembangan pondok pesantren, yang sering menghadapi keterbatasan dana untuk pengembangannya. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa adanya peningkatan tiga tahun mulai tahun 2021  sampai sekarang pengembangan pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Agam dengan dukungan donatur dari masyarakat, perantau dan pemerintah di Kabupaten Agam.  Beberapa poin kunci dari model komunikasi fundraising ialah keberadaan struktur organisasi yang jelas, tujuan dari pengembangan pondok pesantren dan  strategi kebijakan pengumpulan donasi secara online dan ofline yang bertujuan memudahkan donatur memberikan donasi..  Abstract:  The development of Islamic boarding schools in Agam Regency from 2021 will experience very rapid progress, the existence of Islamic boarding schools as agents of change, a main institution at the forefront of creating the morale of the nation's children. Islamic boarding school funding can play a significant role in the development of Islamic boarding schools, starting from looking for community, institutional and government donors. This research aims to explore effective fundraising communication models for the development of Islamic boarding schools, which often face limited funds for their development. The research results confirm that there has been a three-year increase from 2021 until now in the development of Islamic boarding schools in Agam Regency with the support of donors from the community, nomads and the government in Agam Regency.  Several key points from the fundraising communication model are the existence of a clear organizational structure, the objectives of developing Islamic boarding schools and online and offline donation collection policy strategies which aim to make it easier for donors to make donations.
