Abstract

The emergence of fintech as a necessity in today’s digital era does not contradict Islamic law. Fintech refers to companies that combine financial services with technology. The rapid advancement of technology has contributed to significant developments in the financial sector, which is evident in the rise of fintech. Fintech provides various benefits to society, particularly in financing, such as business capital or the sustainability of their ongoing businesses. This gives rise to key research questions: How does fintech improve societal welfare through modern technology, and what is the Islamic legal perspective on fintech?  The objectives of this study are to determine how fintech improves societal welfare through modern technology and to analyze the application of Islamic law to fintech. The research method employed is a qualitative library research approach. Through this qualitative approach, the study examines Islamic legal analysis regarding the development of financial technology (fintech) and its compliance with Sharia economic principles.  The findings of this research indicate that, from an Islamic legal perspective, fintech has shown significant developments, and various analyses have been conducted on the application of Sharia principles within this industry. Therefore, this study concludes that fintech does not conflict with Islamic financial principles as long as it adheres to Sharia regulations.   Keywords: Islamic Law, Financial Technology

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic is an outbreak of disease that was first discovered in the Chinese city of Wuhan and then spread throughout the world. The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic caused many fatalities and increased material losses. The existence of the Covid 19 pandemic caused significant losses to the Global economy, placing strong pressure on markets and financial institutions around the World. Thus this will cause differences in conditions before and during the Covid 19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the value of bank efficiency before and during the Covid 19 pandemic and to analyze the comparison of efficiency values between the two. This type of research is a quantitative method using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) Model Variable to Scale (VRS) and Mannwitney Test. The results of this study show that there is no significant difference between the conditions of Islamic Commercial Banks before and during the Covid 19 Pandemic. These results are in accordance with the results of the Mannwhitney Test which shows the value of Asymp.Sig(2-tailed) 776.

Abstract

Integrating Lithium Battery Energy Storage Systems (LBESS) into offshore Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOV) poses significant safety concerns, including fire, explosion, and toxic gas release. The expanding offshore wind industry increases demand for CSOVs equipped with energy storage, making robust risk management essential. This study addresses the critical need to understand and manage LBESS hazards on CSOVs, given the absence of comprehensive international regulations and inherent lithium battery risks like thermal runaway. This study utilizes Risk Assessment data and the Analytic Network Process (ANP) to analyze these hazards and identify optimal mitigation strategies. The research systematically identified six distinct hazards, eighteen main causes, and twenty specific sub-causes through hazard identification (HAZID). A purposive sampling method selected seven qualified practitioners with at least three years of experience in BESS security and risk assessment on CSOVs, including ship construction supervision. Data was collected via a questionnaire using pairwise comparisons and the Saaty scale, processed with Super Decisions software, and combined using Geomean calculations. The ANP analysis shows safety is the top priority for LBESS implementation (63.6%), significantly exceeding environmental (16.3%) and operational (10.2%) factors. Within safety, explosion (39.0%) and fire (25.9%) are the most prevalent hazards, with thermal runaway and battery electrolyte decomposition being key contributors to LBESS failure. For mitigation, the analysis highlights Battery Physical Design and Protection (31.5%), Battery Monitoring and Control Systems (27.9%), and Operational Procedures and Training (15.4%) as crucial. Prioritizing safety is essential for LBESS deployment on CSOVs, with explosion and fire being the most severe threats, and robust engineering and operational protocols are critical mitigation strategies.

Buying and selling viewers is a new trade model whose legal aspects need to be studied in depth. abstract form in the form of additional viewers on accounts on Instagram social media. The problem that arises is how is the mechanism in the practice of buying and selling viewers? Abstract

As the world's population grows, the enormous amount of waste of all kinds grows beyond human capabilities, thus creating a serious dilemma in managing the enormous amount of waste. One way to overcome this problem is by providing counseling/socialization about making compost from household organic waste in Cot Seunong Village, Montasik District, Aceh Besar Regency. Cot Seunong is a village that has a very potential, strategic, and easily accessible rice fields and plantations, this community service activity is expected to provide further information and motivate housewives to implement organic farming sustainably, with the use of compost fertilizer that is produced by themselves. The Community Service Methods carried out are (1) Counseling about waste management, (2) Practice of making compost fertilizer from household organic waste. After the Community Service is carried out, the community knows and understands the importance of household waste management and the use of compost fertilizer derived from household organic waste and is able to make compost fertilizer from household organic waste independently.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan narkotika adalah penggunaan zat adiktif yang dilakukan bukan dengan tujuan pengobatan dan berlangsung lama yang mengakibatkan ganguan fisik, mental dan sosial. Penyalagunaan narkotika tidak hanya didominasi oleh orang dewasa saja tetapi juga anak-anak. Hal ini dapat dilihat diberbagai media massa tentang berita-berita kriminalitas yang dilakukan oleh anak. Hal ini menunjukkan betapa tertekannya kondisi sosial anak di satu sisi,yaitu mulai dari tekanan dalam keluarga sampai kepada masalah ekonomi yang semakin menghampit, sehingga kontribusi ini menjadikan anak terlibat dalam penyalagunaan narkotika baik itu sebagai pengguna, pengedar, maupun kurir pengantar narkotika.
