Abstract

Humans are given the power to navigate this nature so that they can benefit from this natural wealth such as by cultivating tilapia. Not only fish farming, humans can get results, but also with trade or commerce which for the students of the Nurul Haramain Narmada Islamic boarding school by forming a boarding school cooperative, and cultivating agricultural land, so that entrepreneurship or entrepreneurship has a positive impact on the students of the Nurul Haraimain Islamic boarding school and has positive implications for the surrounding community. God has bestowed various favors, besides humans being able to enjoy natural resources, the produce of the earth can also be used as a means of connecting between regions. This is how God bestows on humans to worship Him and achieve prosperity in life. The use of natural resources discussed in the Qur'an is a form of depiction of entrepreneurs or entrepreneurs as achieving balance in human life in the world and the hereafter, therefore entrepreneurship-based education is very important to be practiced, especially in the Nurul Haramain Narmada Islamic boarding school and it turns out that entrepreneurship-based education have a positive impact both among students and the surrounding community.

Abstract

This research aims at analyzing and describing, then finding out students’ perception of offline and online learning in writing class at the University of Mataram. The research method used is quantitative and qualitative method. 25 students are selected as the sample of this research from the population. The instruments of this research were questionnaires and interview. Online surveys were employed as research tools to get the data. These questionnaires were administered through a Google Form survey sheet and they were distributed via WhatsApp. The results of this research students have mixed opinions about the implementation of offline and online learning in writing class. Students also face challenges in learning English through offline and online methods, such as having trouble adjusting to new learning habits. The students’ perceptions toward offline and online learning in writing class at the University of Mataram split into 2 categories: students’ perception of offline and online learning and students' challenge experiences during offline and online learning in writing class at the University of Mataram. The majority of students support the implementation of offline and online learning in writing classes, with 32.16% agreeing and 29.76% remaining neutral. The bottom position is seated by the groups of students that oppose or do not support the implementation of offline and online learning in writing class with 11.44% of the total students. Thus, it can be concluded that the more students propose or support the implementation of offline and online learning in writing class.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) memberikan peluang besar dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam pengembangan bahan ajar digital yang lebih adaptif dan kontekstual. Namun, pemanfaatan teknologi ini di kalangan guru, khususnya di daerah seperti Kabupaten Barru, masih tergolong rendah akibat keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknis. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan melatih para guru di SMKN 5 Barru dalam menggunakan platform AI untuk menyusun bahan ajar digital yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa dan konteks lokal. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi penggunaan AI multiplatform (seperti ChatGPT, Canva AI, dan tools edukatif lainnya), serta praktik langsung yang didampingi oleh tim pelaksana. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test serta penilaian terhadap produk bahan ajar yang dikembangkan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru, di mana sebanyak 80% peserta mampu mengintegrasikan AI ke dalam proses pengembangan bahan ajar digital. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan berbasis praktik langsung dan penggunaan teknologi yang aplikatif dapat meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam menghadirkan pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi awal dari transformasi digital dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah vokasi.

Abstract

Translanguaging is the practice of changing the usage of two different languages or more in order to improve communication and enrich the linguistic aspects of language use. This study presents the use of translanguaging in EFL classroom by English teachers. The main aim of this study is to describe the components and the functions of translanguaging used by the English teachers at MTsN 1 Mataram during teaching and learning process. The subject of this study consisted of two English teachers who teach at MTsN 1 Mataram. The results of this study show that there are two components and six functions of translanguaging used by the English teachers. The translanguaging’s components used by the English teachers were dominated by 58% code-switching, and 42% translating and interpreting. The difference between translanguaging and code switching is in the concept. Translanguaging allows anyone to use more than two languages without constraints, yet code-switching has its own limitations. In addition, the highest frequency of translanguaging functions is message qualification which occurred 30 times or 31%. Meanwhile, the lowest frequencies are quotations, and personalization vs objectification, where each of these functions contains one data. The implications of translanguaging in education are vast and can have a positive impact on various aspects of teaching and learning
