Abstract

Diabetes gestasional merupakan komplikasi kehamilan yang dapat dicegah melalui penerapan gaya hidup sehat. Gaya hidup ini mencakup pola makan yang sehat, aktivitas fisik yang cukup, dan pemeriksaan kehamilan yang dilakukan secara rutin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pola makan, aktivitas fisik, dan pemeriksaan kehamilan rutin pada ibu hamil bebas diabetes gestasional di Puskesmas Bangkala Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 42 ibu hamil yang diperoleh melalui teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah divalidasi dan terdiri dari tiga bagian, yaitu pola makan, aktivitas fisik, dan pemeriksaan kehamilan rutin, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar ibu hamil memiliki pola makan sehat sebanyak 64,3%, cukup sehat 35,7%, aktivitas fisik kurang aktif 42,9%, cukup aktif 31,0%, dan aktif 26,2%. Seluruh responden (100%) melakukan pemeriksaan kehamilan secara rutin sesuai jadwal. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar ibu hamil telah memiliki pola makan yang baik dan secara aktif memeriksakan kehamilan, namun masih terdapat ibu hamil dengan tingkat aktivitas fisik yang rendah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa gaya hidup sehat yang mencakup pola makan dan pemeriksaan rutin telah diterapkan dengan baik oleh ibu hamil bebas diabetes gestasional, namun diperlukan peningkatan aktivitas fisik sebagai bagian dari upaya pencegahan komplikasi kehamilan.

Abstract

Menarche adalah periode menstruasi pertama yang ditandai dengan munculnya perubahan secara fisiologis yang meliputi perubahan fisik dan mental. Indonesia mengalami angka penurunan menarche berdasarkan hasil Riskesdas tahun 2014 terdapat 5,2% anak–anak di Indonesia memasuki usia menarche dibawah usia 12 tahun. Datangnya menarche justru membuat sebagaian remaja putri takut atau cemas dan menganggap darah haid adalah suatu penyakit. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan ketidaksiapan menghadapi menarche dapat menjadi penyebab terjadinya hal tersebut. Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan kesiapan menghadapi menarche dengan kecemasan pada siswi pada kelas V dan VI di SD Inpres Tello Baru 1/1. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi analitik cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 70 responden. Tehnik sampling yang digunakan total sampling, dengan jumlah sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 70 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan tentang menstruasi pada kelas V dan VI di SD Inpres Tello Baru 1/1 termasuk dalam kategori baik yaitu sebesar 72,9%, dan kesiapan menghadapi menarche sebesar 87,1%, dan didapatkan kecemasan siswi sebesar 62,9%. Hasil uji Chi Square menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan kesiapan menghadapi menarche dengan kecemasan pada siswi (p=0,000, p=0,000) ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan kesiapan menghadapi menarche dengan kecemasan siswi pada kelas V dan VI di SD Inpres Tello Baru 1/1.

Abstract

Gestational diabetes is one of pregnancy complication. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of video and booklet media education on the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of pregnant women about gestational diabetes at the Bangkala Community Health Center, Makassar City. The research design used is quasi experimental, namely using a pretest and posttest two group design. The population for this research is the average number of pregnant women who visit ANC at the Bangkala Health Center every three months from May-July 2023, namely 149 people. The data collection technique was purposive sampling with a total sample of 60 respondents. The analysis used several statistical tests, including Wilcoxon, Mann-Whitney, and Independent T Test. The results of the research showed that the effectiveness of video media on knowledge was 97.38% and was in the effective category, while the effectiveness of booklet media was 83.34% and was in the effective category. The effectiveness of video media on attitudes was 81.91% and was in the effective category, while the effectiveness of booklet media was 58.47% and was in the category effective enough. The effectiveness of video media on behavior is 88.77%, which is in the effective category, while the effectiveness of booklet media on behavior is 91.07% and is in the effective category. Conclusion: The effectiveness of video and booklet media is not significantly effective in increasing the knowledge of pregnant women with an effect size of 0.03. The effectiveness of Video and Booklet media is significantly ineffective for the attitudes of pregnant women, or in other words, it has a small effect size with a value of 0.23. The effectiveness of Video and Booklet media is significantly ineffective for the behavior of pregnant women with a large effect value of 0.25. It is recommended that future researchers be able to examine the effect of the education provided on increasing blood glucose levels in pregnant women after the intervention

Abstract

Background: Posyandu cadres are community leaders who are willing, able and have time to carry out posyandu activities and are tasked with helping the smooth running of health services so that one of the most basic posyandu problems is the low level of knowledge of cadres both from an academic and technical side. Objective: It is known that the level of knowledge of posyandu cadres about understanding, assessing, monitoring the growth of toddler development in Camba-Camba Village, Jeneponto Regency Methods: The research method used was quantitative research with a descriptive design conducted on 35 samples of posyandu cadres in the working area of the Togo-Togo Health Center, Camba-Camba Village, Jeneponto Regency with a total sampling technique Conclusion: From the results of the study, it can be concluded that  most respondents have a level of knowledge about the understanding of growth in the development of the category of less than 15 (41.7%) people, monitoring the growth of development in the good category as many as 17 (47.2%) and less as many as 3 (8.3%) people, assessment of the growth of development in the good category as many as 15 (41.7%) people.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is one of the diseases that causes the most prominent death worldwide. Most hypertension attacks the elderly. One of the causes of hypertension is a lack of physical activity. Performing regular morning walking exercise may lower blood pressure of patients with hypertension. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate blood pressure before and after performing walking exercise to reduce blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension.  Methods: This study used a pre-experimental design with a pretest-posttest design. The purposive sampling technique was utilized. The sample number was 18 respondents at Antang Health Center.  Results: The study showed that systolic blood pressure before walking exercise was 174 mmHg with a standard deviation of 8.762, and diastolic blood pressure after walking exercise was 75.56 mmHg with a standard deviation of 4.369. The Wilcoxon test showed a value of p= 0.000. This means that there is an effect of walking exercise on reducing systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the elderly.  Conclusion: Walking exercise has an effect on lowering blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at Antang Health Center.
