Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of language styles tasybīh at-tamtsil in the Surah An-Nahl and reveal the relevance of the symbolic meaning of these verses to Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This research is a qualitative-descriptive study with a balaghah (bayān) and stylistic approach, through a literature study of the parable verses in the Surah An-Nahl, especially verses 74–75, 76, 91–92, and 112. The study results show that tasybīh at-tamtsil, the parables in this Surah, not only serve as rhetorical decoration, but also contain strong values of faith, morality, social, and spirituality. These parables illustrate the dangers of polytheism, the importance of keeping promises, social responsibility, and the threat to a society that denies blessings. This study concludes that integrating balaghah analysis into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning can strengthen students' understanding of the messages of the Qur'an aesthetically and educationally. Therefore, the balaghah approach can be a strategic alternative in developing an Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum based on character and the values of monotheism.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an is the holy book from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad and as proof of his prophethood. In Islam, the science that discusses the problem of divinity is studied in the science of kalam, which in its development emerged several theologies with different understandings, including Maturidiyah and Shi'ism. This study tries to find Maturidiyah and Shia views on the Qur'an. By using theological and textual approaches, the researcher explores the views of the two schools of thought on the Qur'an. Based on the results of the deductive analysis, it is concluded that Maturidiyah Samarkand distinguishes the kalam lafdzi and nafsiy of the Qur'an. This is because the Qur'an is an arrangement of letters and sounds, so it is lafdzi while nafsiy is an abstract word and cannot be detected through the human senses. Maturidiyah Bukhara views the Qur'an as not kalamullah (the nature of God), but kalamullah in the majazi sense. The Shia have a different view, namely the belief that the Qur'an in today's era is fake and not mutawatir. It is hoped that through this paper, it can increase people's faith in Allah swt and expand knowledge related to currents in the science of kalam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the effectiveness of Articulate Storylines as a learning medium for learning Ilmu Bayan in the Balaghah. This study uses a literature review method. The data analysis techniques employed in this study involve examining theories and ideas presented in the literature relevant to the research topic. Data collection in this study was conducted through various diverse literature sources, such as articles, journals, books, and research relevant to Articulate Storylines and Ilmu Bayan learning. Literature sources obtained from various references are analyzed carefully. These sources are selected to provide in-depth insights into the application of technology that can be used in language education, especially in increasing the effectiveness of Ilmu Bayan learning. Ilmu Bayan is one of the Balaghah branches that is often considered a branch with difficult material to understand, because the material of Ilmu Bayan contains kinayah, isti'arah, majaz, and tasybih, which are almost similar. Therefore, the use of Articulate Storylines media can be a solution to understanding and differentiating the materials in the study of Ilmu Bayan. It is because Articulate Storylines has highly effective features to support improved learning outcomes, not only making learning enjoyable but also enhancing the learning process to be innovative and effective.
