Abstract

Gampong Mee Panyang Busu is one of the gampongs in the Mutiara sub-district, Kab. Pidie. So in this study, the author will explore the mechanism of the Keusyik (Village Head) of Gampong Mee Panyang Busu in building strength and empowering Gampong organizations, thus improving the welfare of the community. The focus of the case study is in Gampong Mee Panyang Busu, Mutiara District, Pidie Regency, Aceh Province. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method. In which the author attempts to describe the strength and empowerment of Gampong organizations in advancing the nation and improving the welfare of the people of Gampong Mee Panyang Busu, Mutiara District, Pidie Regency, Aceh Province. The results found the following points: namely by maximizing the duties and functions of Gampong apparatus/equipment by delegating tasks to each position, preparing superior Gampong empowerment programs, and realizing each activity program that has been mutually agreed upon.

Abstract

Aceh, as a special autonomous province in Indonesia, has garnered national and international attention due to its long-standing history intertwined with conflict and peace. The political process in Aceh is closely tied to various complex issues that impact its stability, socio-economic development, and the relationship between the central government and Aceh. This scholarly article aims to analyze issue management in the political process in Aceh, with a focus on the post-MoU Helsinki 2005 period. In this article, the author discusses how political issues, such as special autonomy, identity, and issues related to the Aceh Governance Law (UUPA), influence Aceh's politics and its relationship with the central government. How issue management can be applied in the context of Aceh's politics to ensure political stability and sustainable development. This article employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques through literature review. The discussion has covered the definition of the issue, focusing on key political issues in Aceh, such as special autonomy, identity, and UUPA-related issues. The steps in issue management in Aceh's politics, including dialogue, community participation, institutional strengthening, effective communication, advocacy, and evaluation. Issue management is key to handling these political issues and achieving stability and sustainable development in Aceh.

Abstract

The potential of internet users, especially on social media, in Indonesia is substantial. The large number of users has resulted in a significant potential for national turmoil. Furthermore, the emergence of various elements in society that are intolerant and spread hoaxes adds to the national turmoil on social media, thereby misusing the meaning of democracy. This situation has prompted the government to take steps to address the country's divisions. At certain moments, the government takes actions to restrict the internet with the aim of maintaining national stability. These actions receive varied responses, both positive and negative. Based on these various factors, this research aims to examine the role of new media as a public space in responding to the genuine meaning of democracy. The theory employed is Jurgen Habermas's Public Sphere, where the internet should be a communicative space to create public rationality in achieving Deliberative Democracy. The research method involves a mix of literature review and quantitative descriptive methods. The SWOT analysis is used to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of new media. The study's results indicate that the strength lies in the quantity and duration of internet users that can be maximized. Weaknesses include the quality and characteristics of users. There is potential in terms of infrastructure, reach, and proximity. Threats include both manifest issues such as hoaxes and incitement, as well as latent issues such as the failure to accommodate the needs of society.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam kepada para santri tentang betapa pentingnya pelestarian makanan tradisional sebagai bagian dari identitas budaya Aceh. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan Memberikan pemahaman atau sosialisasi dan mempraktikkan ilmu yang  didapatkan serta memotivasi tentang edukasi kuliner yang praktis dan ekonomis. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan dampak positif dalam peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan santri di dayah mudi putri samalnga serta pemberdayaan keahlian santri dalam program memasak. Progrma ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas mereka dalam menggali keahlian santri untuk kontribusi pelestarian makanan tradisional Aceh melalui program edukasi ke dayah, memberikan alternatif ekonomi yang berkelanjutan agar selalu makanan tradisional bisa di sajikan setaip ada acara dayah. Keterlibatan UNISAI Samalanga memberikan kontribusi yang berarti dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan, menciptakan sinergi positif antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat. Program ini mendorong untuk memberdayakan keahlian dan mempromosikan partisipasi santri dayah  dalam pengembangan mahasiswi UNISAI Samalanga.
