Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul " Reptiles and Human Relations in Pet Photography ". Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk membuat sebuah karya Fotografi Hewan Peliharaan tentang Reptil. Metode pembuatan yang digunakan adalah: observasi, studi pustaka, dan wawancara. Dari observasi yang telah dilakukan kepada masyarakat dan komunitas hewan dan reptil di Sumatera Barat bahwa masih banyak masyarakat yang kurang memiliki pengetahuan tentang reptil, beberapa di antaranya tentang reptil dengan kelainan genetik, seperti ular putih, ular belacu. pada pemotretan outdoor menggunakan mix lighting dan indoor hanya menggunakan lighting saja. Mix lighting disini merupakan kombinasi dari dua sumber cahaya. Teori yang digunakan disini adalah fine art. Fine art adalah cara memotret dengan gaya seniman yang mengekspresikan dirinya dalam sebuah karya. Dalam 22 karyanya ini, ia menceritakan betapa dekatnya manusia dengan reptil yang diajak bermain dan diajak kemana saja dan juga pandangan banyak orang terhadap reptil tersebut.

Abstract

Pembinaan kreativitas seni tari pada siswa SMPN 2 Kota Bukittinggi dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk pengembangan kesenian khususnya seni tari. Sekolah ini perlu mendapat pembinaan karena minimnya pengetahuan dan apresiasi guru terhadap seni tari khususnya tari kreasi baru. Pembinaan ini dilaksanakan  melalui  beberapa  metode  yang  langsung  diterapkan  kepada siswa SMPN 2 Kota Bukittingi yang dimulai dari apresiasi melalui video- video tari kreasi, penjelasan mengenai teknik kepenarian, pemberian materi teknik secara langsung, memberikan ragam-ragam gerak, hingga penataan tari sampai menjadi sebuah karya tari kreasi baru. Melalui metode ini dapat membentuk kemampuan menari yang bagus pada siswa dalam menciptakan karya tari kreasi baru yang utuh dan diiringi musik pengiring tarian.

Abstract

End mill cutter is a type of blade that is commonly used in the working practice of milling machines. Because it is easily dull, these blades need to be sharpened to obtain a good geometric shape of the cutting surface. At the mechanical engineering workshop of the Medan State Polytechnic, the sharpening process is carried out using an end mill cutter grinder machine. However, the quality of the honed results is still not good. This study aims to improve the quality of the sharpening results by modifying the grinding stone stand shaft on the sharpening machine. The method used is a technical experiment by changing the dimensions of the shaft and locking system so that the grinding stone rotation becomes more symmetrical and stable. Primary data were obtained by measuring the symmetry of the mounting shaft with the indicator dial and the cutting experiment on the workpiece. Data analysis was carried out by comparing data from the old shaft with the new modified shaft. Sharpening experiments were carried out on the end mill cutter Ø 20 mm and the results obtained were very good cut quality and symmetrical tests showed a result of 0.055; 0.04 ; 0.01 mm is still below the standard tolerance of 0.05 mm.

Abstract

This research examines the choreographic work of Susas Rita Loravianti, particularly Perempuan dan Rumah Gadang, as sites of feminist resistance and spatial emplacement within the Minangkabau village. While existing scholarship on Minangkabau often romanticizes its matrilineal system, this study identifies a gap in understanding how women's bodies actively negotiate the matrilineal paradox, the tension between symbolic female power in the ancestral home and formal male authority in public discourse. Drawing on a two-year ethnographic approach (2022–2024), the research employs participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and detailed gestural mapping to analyze the creative process. The study integrates Doreen Massey's concept of relational space with Gay McAuley's performance spatiality to argue that Loravianti's choreography transcends mere illustration, constituting a subversive critical perspective that reimagines the village (kampuang) as a dynamic arena of global social relations. The findings suggest that the performance functions as a subaltern counterpublic, empowering women to develop oppositional identities in opposition to the restrictive behavioral codes of the Sumbang Duo Baleh. Furthermore, the research considers the limitations of this artistic strategy, questioning the inclusivity of the performance space for non-elite women within the village and examining the potential for artistic abstraction to obscure pressing socio-political crises.
