Abstract

The procedure of watering for and keeping track of the temperature and humidity levels in the room has a significant impact on the growth and productivity of oyster mushroom plants. It is often believed to be less effective and efficient because people in the Banyuwangi district perform the irrigation process conventionally with human aid. In order to construct digital businesses, artificial intelligence, cognitive technology, and (IoT) are being developed. People's daily lives are becoming more advanced and connected because to this transformation. This will encourage the creation of fresh innovations. Given this context, the idea to undertake research on the method of automatically and continuously monitoring watering (spraying) mushroom production using the Internet of Things (IoT) developed. In order to improve the effectiveness and productivity of mushroom cultivation, this instrument is designed with a temperature sensor (LM35) to monitor the humidity conditions of oyster mushroom plants. It is also fitted with a solar renewable energy system. It is also fitted with a solar renewable energy system. The five steps of this study's execution were: a needs analysis; tool design; tool prototype; prototype testing; and conclusion. According to test results, the IoT-based control system for watering mushroom cultivation has an average error of 0.1% when measuring temperature and an average error of 2.66% when measuring humidity. This is almost perfect in terms of sensor readings, indicating that it can be used properly. While the success rate for the spray control system using the IoT system after five trials was 100%, the voltage, current, and power for solar panels were 17.60 V, 4.10 A, and 55.7 Watt at 14.00 during the day.

Abstract

Akses internet yang semakin mudah dan murah mengakibatkan minat baca buku di perpustakaan rendah. Hal ini terlihat dengan rendahnya kunjungan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Banyuwangi ke perpustakaan. Baik kunjungan untuk membaca buku maupun untuk peminjaman buku. Pelayanan yang baik dan ketersediaan koleksi buku yang memadai tidak mempengaruhi minat baca mahasiswa di perpustakaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang rendah dan positif antara pelayanan dan ketersediaan buku dengan jumlah kunjungan. Hasil lain yang didapatkan dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pelayanan dan ketersediaan buku dengan jumlah kunjungan

Abstract

Teknologi telah menjadi elemen yang sangat penting dalam bidang pendidikan. Integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan aksesibilitas terhadap informasi dengan mudah. Selain kemudahan, juga meyediakan berbagai kemudahan dalam proses belajar-mengajar. Salah satu bentuk metode pembelajaran online dengan menggunakan hybrid learning. Sistem pembelajaran hybrid membantu bagi peserta didik, terutama bagi mahasiswa yang kuliah sambil kerja, yang sebagian besar dilaksanakan oleh perguruan tinggi.Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini berupa library research. Analisis data dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran hybrid learning di era transformasi digital, sehingga penelitian ini lebih tepat menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, kemudian ditafsirkan secara deskriptif. Model pembelajaran hybrid, ada dua elemen utama: pembelajaran daring (online) dan tatap muka (offline), yang bisa dipilih atau digabungkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing. Fleksibilitas pembelajaran hybrid mendukung peserta didik baik peserta didik dalam pembelajaran andragogik maupun pedagogik dalam memilih metode yang paling tepat. Platform teknologi pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar, baik dalam konteks pembelajaran daring, tatap muka, maupun model hybrid. sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengajaran dan pembelajaran di masing-masing institusi. Zoom adalah platform yang sangat berguna dalam pendidikan, memungkinkan komunikasi dan kolaborasi yang efektif antara pengajar dan siswa, terutama dalam situasi pembelajaran jarak jauh atau hybrid. Dalam model pembelajaran hybrid, ada dua elemen utama: pembelajaran daring (online) dan tatap muka (offline), yang bisa dipilih atau digabungkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing. Dengan demikian, implementasi pembelajaran hybrid mendukung peserta didik dalam mengelola waktu dan cara belajar secara lebih mandiri, efisien, dan efektif, serta memperkaya pengalaman belajar secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of technology-based learning to improve the quality of education at SMP IT Darul Ilmi Banyuwangi. Using a qualitative case study approach, this study explores the use of technology, such as interactive multimedia, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and digital learning applications, in the teaching and learning process. These findings suggest integrating technology increases students' motivation, engagement, and understanding of learning materials. The results show that integrating technology in learning increases student motivation and engagement, but challenges such as limited technology infrastructure, unequal access to devices, and teachers' readiness to adopt technology-based learning methods are still the main obstacles. This study concludes that implementing technology-based learning has great potential to improve the quality of education, but its success depends on infrastructure readiness, teacher competence, and supportive education policies. Therefore, continuous teacher training and increased accessibility of digital devices are indispensable to ensure optimal technology implementation in education.

Abstract

Prosthetic disability is a concern for Indonesian society. Based on data from the Ministry of Social Affairs for 2020-2024, people with disabilities reached 22.97 million people, with physical disabilities being the largest category. Therefore, research is proposed to address prosthetic disability with a hand design and control system similar to a natural hand. The design uses fiber, resin, and catalysts. Meanwhile, a control system is used to regulate the movement of the prosthetic fingers based on angular variations in the servo motor. The resulting prosthetic hand design is divided into 15 segments, such as the thumb, the other four fingers, and the palm. Then, the control system produces stable finger movements with a 0° angle control for opening the hand, holding a glass with a 70°–87° angle control, and a full grip with a 140°–168° angle control. The purpose of implementing this technology is to create more effective and responsive solutions to improve the independence and quality of life for individuals with physical disabilities.
