Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh variabel kesiapan mengajar dan kecemasan akademik terhadap performa saat melakukan praktik mengajar pada mata kuliah microteaching. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa semester V Tadris Biologi Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu keguruan (FTIK) IAIN Kendari yang berjumlah 32 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket dan lembar observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial menggunakan uji korelasi dan uji regresi dengan bantuan Microsoft Excel. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik kesiapan mengajar maupun kecemasan akademik sama-sama memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap performa praktik mengajar, meskipun untuk kesiapan mengajar menunjukkan korelasi positif (searah) sedangkan kecemasan akademik menunjukkan korelasi negatif (berlawanan arah). Kesiapan mengajar yang tinggi dapat meningkatkan performa saat melakukan praktik mengajar, sedangkan kecamasan yang tinggi justru akan menurunkan performa. Oleh karena itu mahasiswa harus mempersiapkan diri dengan baik, sehingga mahasiswa mampu untuk mengendalikan persaan gugup dan cemas saat tampil mengajar.

Abstract

The present study aims to: 1) interpret the influence of the inquiry learning model on students' biology learning outcomes; 2) interpret the implementation of each stage of the inquiry learning model. The present study is quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design, which was carried out at SMA Negeri 2 South Konawe. The research samples were grade X MIPA1 students as the experimental class and grade X MIPA3 students as the control class. The data collection technique for this research is tests that were analyzed descriptively and inferentially, as well as observations to interpret the implementation of the inquiry learning model. The results show that: 1) the inquiry learning model has a positive effect on the biology learning outcomes of grade X students on the ecosystem material. The inquiry learning model has an effective effect of 74.82% in learning activities and 25.18% is influenced by other variables which are not examined in this research, so the model is categorized as quite effective; 2) the inquiry learning model applied to grade X ecosystem material has difficulties in learning activities, namely difficulties in orienting the material and formulating problems. The biggest difficulty faced by the teacher is collecting data and drawing conclusions, which is caused by the teacher’s lack of ability to organize the learning time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pemberian tugas menulis jurnal belajar terhadap penguasaan keterampilan metakognitif mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian adalah 31 mahasiswa semester lima pada program studi Tadris Biologi. Mereka dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok: kelompok 1 menggunakan strategi menulis jurnal belajar, dan kelompok 2 tidak menggunakan strategi menulis jurnal belajar. Indikator penelitian ini adalah skor yang diperoleh mahasiswa pada lembar inventory Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) dan SEMLI-S pada masing-masing kategori keterampilan metakognitif yaitu merencanakan, memonitoring, dan mengevaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan metakognitif kelompok 1 lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok 2, dengan nilai signifikansi yang lebih kecil dibanding nilai α sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan penguasaan keterampilan metakognitif yang signifikan antara kelompok 1 dan kelompok 2.Kata Kunci: Jurnal belajar; Keterampilan Metakognitif; Metacognitive Awareness Inventory

Abstract

Abstract Teacher human resources remains a primary challenge within the Indonesian educational landscape, particularly in private madrasahs where educators are frequently assigned to subjects that do not align with their academic backgrounds. This study aims to identify the structural and situational barriers to HR fulfillment and formulate strategic solutions to address this systemic mismatch. Designed as a qualitative multi-site case study, this research involves a comparative analysis across three educational levels (MI, MTs, and MA) in Demak Regency. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews with principals and heads of curriculum, non-participant observations, and documentation analysis, followed by an interactive model analysis. The results indicate that HR fulfillment is primarily obstructed by a lack of financial equity in national budget distribution, high teacher turnover due to P3K recruitment, and a structural shortage of linear-background educators willing to work in the private sector. To address these issues, the study proposes the policy integration of PPPK into private institutions, the expansion of PPG opportunities, and the strengthening of collaborative networks with community organizations. The novelty of this research lies in its comprehensive focus specifically on human resource challenges within private madrasahs from various angles and factors, setting it apart from broader studies on educational problems.
