Abstract

To investigate the performance of the Malaysian furniture companies in the context of design and brand strategy, aself-administered questionnaire survey was conducted. This research was conducted to examine the effects of design on thebrand strategy towards a better export performance among companies. It is an important strategic tool that can help firms tomanage their business activities more efficiently as well as provide them with their competitive edge, has attracted significantresearch attention. Despite the increased research attention in recent years, limited numbers of empirical studies haveinvestigated how small and medium-sized firms (SMEs) perceived design, in the Malaysian context. The subjects involved in thesurvey included 223 furniture companies participating in the Malaysian Furniture Fair (MIFF 2012) that are highly committed inexporting. Consequently, it resulted in a return of 116 questionnaires that were furthered analyzed. This study sought to addressthis research issue by examining the perceptions of owners and managers of 116 furniture SMEs concerning design and theirbranding strategy in the Malaysian furniture industry. The findings suggest favourable perceptions of design among the SMEsbrand strategy surveyed.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the influence of workplace spirituality and transformational leadership, mediated by job satisfaction, on the organizational citizenship behavior of employees at PT. Chandra Asri Petrochemical and PT Asahimas Chemical. All respondents in this study are employees of PT. Chandra Asri Petrochemical and PT Asahimas Chemical. Data collection methods were conducted through the distribution of questionnaires to 308 employees of PT. Chandra Asri Petrochemical and PT. Asahimas Chemical uses the purposive sampling technique for sample selection. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the structural equation model (SEM) method. The results of this study indicate that workplace spirituality has a positive influence on organizational citizenship behavior, workplace spirituality has a positive effect on job satisfaction, transformational leadership has a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior, transformational leadership does not have a positive effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior, workplace spirituality has a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior mediated by job satisfaction, and transformational leadership does not have a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior mediated by job satisfaction. The managerial implications of this research require the company to enhance patience among coworkers, pay more attention to individual support for staff, increase the enjoyment aspect of work, and give more attention to employees who are reluctant to use their time for voluntary work. Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the influence of servant leadership and job resources on job satisfaction and wellbeing mediated by work engagement. The data used in this study are primary data and collected by distributing questionnaires filled out by banking employees in West Jakarta. The sample collection method used a purposive sampling method of 165 samples. The data processing techniques used in this study are instrument testing such as validity and reliability tests as well as structural equation modeling (SEM) using SPSS and SmartPLS. The results showed that servant leadership has a positive effect on work engagement, servant leadership has a positive effect on job satisfaction, servant leadership has no positive effect on wellbeing, job resources has a positive effect on work engagement, job resources has a positive effect on wellbeing, job resources has a positive effect on job satisfaction, work engagement has a positive effect on job satisfaction, work engagement has a positive effect on wellbeing, servant leadership has a positive effect on job satisfaction mediated by work engagement, servant leadership has a positive effect on wellbeing mediated by work engagement, job resources has a positive effect on job satisfaction mediated by work engagement, job resources have a positive effect on wellbeing mediated by work engagement. Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh faktorinclusive leadership dan procedural justice dalammeningkatkan komitmen dalam industri ritelfashion di area Jabodetabek. Penelitian inimelibatkan dua variabel independen, satuvariabel mediasi, dan satu variabel dependenuntuk diteliti secara menyeluruh. Menggunakanmetodologi kuantitatif, pendekatan ini melibatkanproses pengumpulan dan analisis data dalambentuk numerik atau variabel yang dapat diukursecara objektif. Pendekatan pengambilan sampelyang diadopsi dalam penelitian ini adalah non-probabilitas. Jenis teknik pengambilan sampelyang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, yang melibatkan pemilihan sampel berdasarkankriteria yang telah ditentukan yang melibatkan315 karyawan industri ritel fashion di area Jabodetabek melalui penyebaran kuesionerselama periode tertentu. Dalam hasil analisisdata, penelitian ini memilih untuk menggunakanteknik structural equation model melaluiperangkat lunak AMOS. Temuan penelitian inidengan tegas menunjukkan bahwa inclusive leadership dan procedural justice memberikanpengaruh terhadap organizational commitment melalui organizational trust. Adapun untukpengaruh langsung inclusive leadership dan procedural justice terhadap organizational commitment menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa lingkungan amanyang meningkatkan rasa percaya terhadapindustri ritel fashion dapat meningkatkanpengaruh inclusive leadership dan procedural justice terhadap komitmen karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Servant Leadership, Perceived Organizational Support, and Organizational Culture on Innovative Work Behavior. This research uses a quantitative approach with the use of questionnaires. The questionnaires were distributed to 276 respondents who are employees of PT Transportasi Jakarta. Data analysis methods will be carried out consisting of descriptive statistical tests, outer model tests consisting of (convergent validity, discriminant validity, composite reliability), and inner model tests. As well as hypothesis testing using full model Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis with SmartPLS version 3.0. In the full model Structural Equation Model (SEM) not only strengthens the existing theory, but also reveals the relationship between latent variables analyzed through t-tests and significance levels. The results of the study show that servant leadership, perceived organizational support, and organizational culture have a positive influence on innovative work behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of work-family conflict on job performance with emotional intelligence and job satisfaction as mediating variables in 3 and 4-star hotel employees in Jakarta. The research was conducted with a quantitative approach.The determination of the sample was carried out using nonprobability sampling with the purposive sampling method, and refers to the minimum sample size according to Hair et al. (2019). The sample in this study amounted to 265 employees of 3 and 4-star hotels in Jakarta. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method. The technique of data collection used is by distributing questionnaires through the Google Form application. The results of hypothesis testing show that the seven hypotheses proposed are supported by the statement that there is an effect of work-family conflict on job performance, with emotional intelligence and job satisfaction as mediating variables.
