Abstract

Garbage is still a big problem for the world, especially Indonesia. The continual increase in waste production and the lack of environmental care are the cause of this problem. It is very important to teach attitudes of environmental care started in early age. Therefore, teachers should be able to find the right methods to make the students have an environmental care. The purpose of this research is to present the Method of Sampah Berkah used in TK Al-Huda Malang City in an effort to teach attitudes of environmental care for students. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. Data collection techniques are observation and in-depth interviews. The results showed that Sampah Berkah can be an effective and creative method to teach environmental care attitudes for early childhood. Through this Sampah Berkah, children are trained to sort, give and use garbage for recycling, in order that garbage is not immediately thrown away. So, the child's environmental caring attitudes can grow and develop.

Abstract

Aspek bahasa sangat penting dikembangkan sejak anak berusia dini. Sebab, aspek tersebut menjadi penunjang anak dalam berkomunikasi hingga dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengembangan aspek bahasa anak usia 4-6 tahun melalui permainan BePe berpasir. Media permainan yang digunakan adalah BePe (Bongkar Pasang) serta media pasir yang dibangun menjadi rumah-rumahan sebagai media anak bermain peran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data yang terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dikumpulkan dari 20 siswa di TK Halimah dengan rentang usia antara 4-6 tahun yang berpartisipasi dalam permainan BePe berpasir. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh (total sampling). Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, kategorisasi, interpretasi, dan refleksi. Sedangkan data kuantitatif dihitung persentase ketercapaian indikator perkembangan bahasanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan media permainan BePe berpasir dapat mengembangkan bahasa anak usia 4-6 tahun. Sehingga guru maupun orangtua dapat menggunakan permainan ini untuk membantu upaya pengembangan aspek bahasa anak usia dini.

Abstract

Using unattractive teaching media will make it difficult for children to understand the lessons. This research aims to produce interactive multimedia learning in body parts material that has been proven valid and practical for children aged 5-6 years. This type of research uses the Alessi & Trollip development model. The subject of this research is Interactive Multimedia Learning Material on Body Parts, which goes through the planning, design, and development stages. The objects of this research were Group B children of Robbani Indralaya Kindergarten. The research procedures carried out in this research went through four stages: planning, design, development, and evaluation. Meanwhile, the data collection techniques used in this research are walkthrough, observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses walkthrough data analysis and observation data analysis. This media has proven to be valid and practical. Based on research on developing interactive multimedia learning material on body parts for children aged 5-6 years. So, this media can be used by teachers or parents to teach body parts to children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Kemandirian merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dan harus dikembangkan pada diri anak sejak usia dini. Penulisan Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana meningkatkan kemandirian anak melalaui metode pembelajaran Montessori. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan sumber data yang meliputi peserta didik, guru, wali kelas, dan kepala sekolah TK-IT Imam Bukhori. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan Miles & Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan terjadi perkembangan yang signifikan terhadap kemandirian anak dengan diterapkannya metode pembelajaran Montessori. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif terhadap keenam indikator kemandirian anak yang terdiri dari kemampuan fisik, bertanggung jawab, percaya diri, saling berbagi, disiplin, dan mampu mengendalikan emosi. Metode Montessori terbukti mampu memberikan kebebasan dan kesempatan mengembangkan kemandirian anak dengan hal yang sederhana sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak. Oleh karena itu, dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran Montessori dapat dijadikan alternative untuk meningkatkan sikap kemandirian pada anak.
