Abstract

Investigating the low mathematics scores of Indonesian students on the PISA assessment can be done by examining the influence of measured predictors, including teacher competence and school resources that have not attracted the attention of Indonesian mathematics education researchers. The research focused on the effect of teacher competencies and the shortage of school resources on students’ mathematics achievement. Secondary data were retrieved from the official PISA website, involving 9,721 students aged 13-15 years from 332 schools after deleting the missing data. All students and schools were recruited using a stratified-two stage sample design and did not meet the exclusion criteria. Multilevel analysis was used to determine the significance of predictors of interest on students’ mathematics achievement. The analysis showed that adaptive teaching, teacher emotional support and teacher enthusiasm contributed to increase students’ mathematics achievement while teacher feedback and the shortage of school resources significantly decreased students’ mathematics achievement. These findings can assist policymakers in setting educational priorities especially related to what teacher competencies should be developed and procurement of school resources.

Abstract

Reduction of cylinder surface resistance can be accomplished by modifying roughness. The surface roughness structure is one of the important parameters which greatly affects the flow of fluid through the cylinder surface. Fluid flow forms a vortex flow pattern with certain characteristics. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the characteristics and effects of fluid flow through the rough surface of the outer wall of the pipe with visualization using Particle Image Velocity (PIV). This research was conducted experimentally at the Faculty of Engineering, UHAMKA. The pipe surface roughness values varied were 0.648 µm and 1.699 µm. The length of the pipe used is 20 cm with a diameter of 2 inches. Measurements are made from the center of the pipe to a distance of 0.16 m. The results show that the surface roughness of the cylinder pipe affects the fluid flow characteristics where the formation of eddies is caused by the addition of the roughness value. The rougher the pipe surface is, the farther the vortex formation will be. The vortex formation closest to the pipe is a pipe with a roughness value of 0.648 µm at a distance of 0.04 m.

Abstract

Pendanaan merupakan aspek fundamental dalam menjamin keberlanjutan dan mutu penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk-bentuk pengelolaan sumber dana pendidikan pada satuan pendidikan di Indonesia yang terintegrasi dengan regulasi nasional, potensi lokal, dan inovasi digital untuk mendukung pembiayaan pendidikan yang berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research) dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber sekunder seperti jurnal nasional dan internasional, peraturan perundang-undangan, laporan lembaga, dan publikasi ilmiah lainnya. Teknik analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan sintesis teoritik dan interpretatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber dana pendidikan di Indonesia berasal dari pemerintah pusat dan daerah, komite sekolah, unit usaha lembaga pendidikan, bantuan alumni, dana masyarakat, serta sumbangan yang tidak mengikat seperti zakat, infaq, sedekah, dan wakaf. Selain itu, inovasi pembiayaan dapat dilakukan melalui kolaborasi dengan pihak ketiga dalam bentuk kerja sama pengelolaan usaha, penelitian bersama, penyediaan layanan masyarakat, hingga digitalisasi program donasi pendidikan. Setiap sumber dana memiliki peluang dan tantangan tersendiri yang perlu dikelola dengan prinsip transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan partisipasi.Simpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa strategi pengelolaan dana pendidikan yang integratif dan partisipatif sangat penting untuk memperkuat fondasi keuangan pendidikan yang berkelanjutan. Keterbatasan penelitian ini adalah belum mengeksplorasi secara empiris efektivitas tiap bentuk penggalian dana di sekolah. Untuk itu, direkomendasikan penelitian selanjutnya menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus atau mixed methods untuk menganalisis secara mendalam pengaruh variabel inovasi digital dan kemitraan terhadap efektivitas pembiayaan pendidikan.
