Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is one of the menstrual problems experienced by teenage girls. According to WHO, the incidence of dysmenorrhea throughout the world estimated prevalence of 16.8% -81%. Dysmenorrhea pain felt by a teenage girl during menstruation can affect the daily activities, including in learning activities at school. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of dysmenorrhea with learning activities in a teenage girl aged 15-18 years at Public High School 1 Banguntapan, Yogyakarta. This study used a cross-sectional design. The population was teenage girl class X-XI at Public High School 1 Banguntapan, Yogyakarta, totalling 133 people. Samples amounted to 80 people. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The research instrument used was NRS and learning activity questionnaire. Data analysis by Kendall tau. The results of this study showed that 42.5% of respondents experienced mild dysmenorrhea, and 57.5% experienced severe dysmenorrhea. Learning activities felt disturbed when dysmenorrhea was 88.8% of respondents, quite disturbed by 7.5%, and 3.8% felt undisturbed. The results of the Kendall analysis or the results show ρ = 0,000 (ρ <0.05). There is a relationship between dysmenorrhea with learning activities in a teenage girl aged 15-18 years at Public High School 1 Banguntapan, Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Background: Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor due to the growth of abnormal cells in the female reproductive system. The prevalence of cervical cancer is highest in DIY 4,86 per 1000 population. One of cause cervical cancer is infection of HPV virus that can be caused by age of marriage. Objetive: The purose of this study was to determine the relationship of the marriage age with the incidence of cervical cancer. Method: The method used in the research is case control study. Sampling technique is purposive sampling. This study used 76 samples, consisting of 38 case groups and 38 control groups. The data were analyzed by chi-squere test. Result: Most respondent at the case group first married at age < 20 years (57,9%) than at the control group the majority of the age of first marriage at age ≥20 years (78,9%). After testing with Chi-Squere analysis the result obtained (p=0,002; CI 1,875-14,177; OR=5,156) which means there is a significant relationship between age of marriage with cervical cancer in the region of Bantul Regency Yogyakarta. Conclution: Women married at < 20 years of age have a 5 times greater risk of cervical cancer than women married at age ≥ 20 years.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 telah mengubah sistem pembelajaran pada program studi pendidikan profesi ners. Semua kegiatan praktik di rumah sakit dilakukan secara daring sampai diberlakukannya new normal. New normal mengharuskan mahasiswa menerapkan protokol kesehatan dengan ketat pada saat kembali praktik di rumah sakit guna mencegah terjadinya penularan corona virus. Upaya preventif yang dapat dilakukan untuk memutus penularan covid-19 adalah dengan menggunakan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) dengan tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang pengggunaan APD terhadap tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa profesi ners. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre eksperimental design dengan one group pretest posttest. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling dengan sampling sebanyak 53 responden. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan Wilcoxon test didapatkan nilai p value 0,000 yang berarti bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang penggunaan APD terhadap tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa profesi ners.

Abstract

Stress that occurs in students is usually called academic stress. Stress is often experienced by students because of the many demands in the academic field. A national study of 200,000 students at more than 400 tertiary institutions, states that the incidence of academic stress and depression in students is greater than ever before. Student academic stress can be treated with music therapy, it is stated that music therapy can be used as a medium to reduce academic stress levels in students. This study aims to determine the effect of classical music therapy on the stress level of final year nursing students. This is a pre experimental study, with a one-group pre test post test design, in which the researcher measures the stress level of students first, after which they are given classical music therapy treatment, which is then measured by the respondent's stress level after the treatment using the Perceived measuring instrument. Stress Scale PSS. The population in this study were all final year nursing students at STIKes Surya Global Yogyakarta, namely a total of 152 students. The sample size in this study was 31 respondents. The sampling technique uses a simple random sampling technique. While the statistical test used the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the stress level of students before treatment was severe stress, then after being given treatment the stress level was included in the moderate stress category. The p value is 0.000, which means that classical music therapy has a significant effect on reducing the stress level of final year nursing students.

Abstract

Abstract Background: Dysmenorrhea or pain during menstruation is the most common cause of repeated absences from school. This is due to a decrease in learning activity and difficulty concentrating in receiving lessons. Therefore, one of the treatment efforts that can be done to reduce the level of menstrual pain is with Dark Chocolate. Objective: Knowing the effect of dark chocolate on primary dysmenorrhea in female students at the An Nur Ngrukem Islamic boarding school, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Methods: The research design used was pre-experimental using a static-group comparison design approach that had a comparison (control) group. The population of this study were all tahfidz grade 3 female students, totaling 60 students. Consecutive Sampling technique. The research instrument used the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). The data analysis method uses the Wilcoxon Test & the Mann-Withney Test. Results: Based on the Wilcoxon test, it showed that there was a significant decrease in the pretest and post test for both groups, with a P-Value of 0.000 in the intervention group and a value of 0.014 in the control group, in the mean difference test in the two groups using the Mann-Withney Test with the P-Value is 0.023. Based on these results, the P-Value <0.05 indicates that there is an effect of Dark Chocolate on primary dysmenorrhea in female students at the Islamic boarding school An Nur Bantul, Yogyakarta. Conclusion: Dark chocolate as a nursing intervention that can reduce the intensity of primary dysmenorrhea pain in Islamic boarding school students An Nur Ngrukem Bantul Yogyakarta. Based on the results of the research conducted, respondents were able to use dark chocolate, mixed chocolate/dark compound chocolate, at a dose of 100 grams to reduce the feeling of menstrual pain.
