Abstract

This study aims to find out how the application of cooperative learning models to train thecreativity of group B children in TK Kartika II-1 Palembang, using qualitative research types ofcase study types. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Thesubject of the research was the application of the cooperative learning model to train thecreativity of children in group B Kartika II-1 Palembang. Interviews were conducted with TkKartika II-1 class teachers, for observation and documentation of the implementation of learning carried out in class B3 groups. Based on observations and discussions carried out so that it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning models to train the creativity of children in group B Kartika II-1 Palembang has been going well. Because the implementation of activities carried out in accordance with the cooperative model and the learning process uses a scientific approach in accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum, the second steps of the cooperative learning model have been carried out according to established rules

Abstract

Flooding is the most frequent natural disaster in Indonesia, with BNPB data showing a sharp increase since 2016, reaching 1,794 incidents in 2021. In 2024, 1,420 flood cases were reported, the majority of which were caused by waste accumulation in river channels. One example is the flood in Gadingrejo Village, Central Java, which submerged 100 houses due to waste obstructing the river flow. This issue motivated the development of RiverEye, an intelligent system based on CCTV and anomaly detection to prevent floods caused by waste in urban river channels. The system is designed using Raspberry Pi cameras, a buzzer as an early warning alarm, and a mini-computer running Artificial Intelligence (AI) models. The research methodology integrates YOLOv8 for object detection of waste and humans, MediaPipe Pose for detecting littering gestures, and face recognition to identify the perpetrators. The system includes a Flask-based monitoring dashboard that displays real-time detection results and a WhatsApp bot for automatic reporting. Testing was conducted on five main functions, achieving an average success rate of 89%, including pose detection 93%, object detection 90%, face recognition 83%, alarm 80%, and WhatsApp bot integration 100%. The findings demonstrate that RiverEye can detect littering behavior quickly and accurately, providing early warnings of potential river obstructions. The system has the potential to be applied as an effective, efficient, and environmentally friendly AI-based disaster mitigation tool. Further research is recommended to expand the testing area, increase the river visual dataset, and develop flood prediction features based on historical data for sustainable implementation.

Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas merupakan bagian dari masyarakat yang seringkali terpinggirkan, dan memerlukan perhatian khusus. Salah satu organisasi yang selama ini bergerak menaungi para penyandang disabilitas tersebut adalah PPDK (Persatuan Penyandang Disabilitas Klaten), yang menjadi mitra dalam pengabdian ini.. Salah satu fokus area pengembangan program PPDK adalah memberikan advokasi dan meningkatkan pemberdayaan bagi kaum disabilitas di wilayahnya, untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka. Usaha pembuatan Batik Shibori dan Batik Ciprat merupakan salah satu unit usahanya yang sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan. Sayangnya, keterbatasan keterampilan dan keterbatasan kondisi fisik saat ini menjadi kendala dalam pengembangannya. Pengabdian ini ditujukan untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra tersebut, diantaranya melalui inovasi alat bantu ramah disabilitas pada proses produksi, serta peningkatan kapasitas dalam pemasarannya. Program kegiatan yang diselenggarakan meliputi tahapan sosialisasi desain dan alat bantu produksi yang ergonomis, pelatihan pemanfaatan alat bantu produksi, pelatihan inovasi produk, serta pelatihan inovasi konten digital dan pemasaran. Selain itu, aspek keberlanjutan program juga menjadi prioritas dengan menginisiasi sejak awal kerjasama dengan komunitas batik yang lebih besar. Melalui program tersebut, kualitas dan kuantitas produk bisa meningkat, produk bisa dikenal lebih luas, dan pada akhirnya kemandirian kaum difabel akan tercapai.
