Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya gaya kepemimpinan pendidikan Islam di era abad ke-21 bagi generasi intelektual muda Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi elaborasi kepemimpinan karismatik bagi generasi intelektual muda emas guna mempersiapkan generasi yang siap untuk menjalankan lembaga pendidikan dengan segala tantangan di abad 21. Jenis penelitian ini  adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan  library research. Sumber data diperoleh melalui sumber data primer berupa berupa artikel, buku, tesis, disertasi, dan sumber lain yang relevan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah content analysis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi kepemimpinan karismatik bagi generasi muda intelektual emas Indonesia dapat dijalankan dengan lima dimensi yaitu kepemimpinan berempati, kepercayaan diri, perilaku pengembangan citra diri, kepercayaan terhadap kompetensi bawahan, dan penciptaan peluang bagi pengikut untuk meraih kesuksesan. Implikasi dari penelitian adalah gaya kepemimpinan karimatik sebagai salah satu alternatif gaya kepemimpinan yang dapat diperankan oleh generasi intelektual muda dalam memimpin suatu lembaga agar menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Changes in public awareness of the value and appreciation of a religion are characterized by increasing religious awareness in the middle of communal life which is called a social reality. This also happened in the an Nahl Islamic study foundation.This study aims to determine the pattern of religiosity and the background of increasing religiosity in the an Nahl Islamic study congregation. A qualitative study was used in this study, starting from determining the location, subject and object of research, data collection methods, data analysis techniques, and data validity tests that produce data to explore the findings on the diversity of the city's Muslim community which is centered on the an-Nahl recitation congregation who have difference patterns. The emergence of the formation of the religious pattern of the urban Muslim community at the an Nahl Islamic study foundation is influenced by several factors ranging from internal factors, namely factors originating from the individual congregation itself, to external factors in the form of supporting facilities for the implementation of an Nahl Islamic study. There were two religious’ patterns, namely traditional Islam presented by NU and modern Islam presented by Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

In historical perspective, as an Islamic educational institution, pesantren has experienced a long journey. Until the present time, there are some pesantrens that still continue the heritage of old traditions. These pesantrens are named traditional pesantren. But some others, start to open themselves and make changes in responding to the present challenges.These kinds of pesantrens are called modern pesantren. The efforts of modernization by pesantren are dilematic enough because on one side, the modernization is needed, but on the other side, it contains a very different paradigm and world’s perspective. In such situation, pesantren have to discuss those differences with the Islamic paradigm and perpective as the heritage of Islamic civilization in the enlightment era. Hopefully, pesantren is able to figure out current problems smartly with contemporary approaches.
