Abstract

ABSTRACT The research was motivated by what is happening on the ground that the selection of appropriate learning. By using peer teaching method, student can grow and increase their interest in learning, so the materials given will be understandable by them, due to more familiar language and students can find the problems in different ways than adult. With the growing student‟s interest in learning student success will be achieved. Issues raised in this research is how the influence of peer teaching method to the Students‟ Achievement. ABSTRAKSI Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh apa yang terjadi di lapangan yaitu pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dan sesuai dengan konsep yang akan diajarkan. Dengan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya, para siswa dapat menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan minat belajar mereka, sehingga materi-materi pelajaran yang diberikan dapat dipahami, karena penjelasan materi pelajaran melalui tutor sebaya menggunakan bahasa yang lebih akrab dan peserta didik melihat masalah dengan cara yang berbeda dibandingkan orang dewasa. Dengan meningkatnya minat belajar siswa maka keberhasilan belajar siswa akan tercapai. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh metode tutor sebaya terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

Universities must provide good education so that they can produce good graduates.There are many factors that influence student graduation rates, one of the problems faced by an educational institution, especially at universities, whether state or private, is finding predictions of student graduation rates on time.One of the technological advances currently available is a system that can predict whether students will graduate on time or not. One of the machine planning algorithms that can be used is the Support Vector Machine.The results of this research were carried out by predicting the on-time graduation rate of students at Nurul Jadid University, Faculty of Engineering, Informatics Study Program. By using the Support Vector Machine method, this research used testing data of 20% of the data from 612 student data with the same 7 attributes. The data obtained 123 data which resulted in 72 student data being on time, 45 student data being late, 4 student data being correct. time and 2 students' data was late. From the results, the accuracy of the training data was 94%, while the results of the accuracy of the testing data received a score of 95%. And based on the validity test of the Support Vector Machine algorithm, the presentation results obtained were Accuracy levels of 96%, Recall 98%, and Precision 94% from 123 testing data. Next, the model is deployed using Streamlit. Streamlit is an open source Python-based framework designed to help developers build interactive web-based programs in the fields of data science and machine learning. The accuracy rate is very good, this shows that SVM can be applied to predict student graduation rates.

Abstract

This study aims to address this gap by exploring innovative strategies to enhance community capacity, thereby promoting sustainable tourism that benefits both the environment and the local economy. Sustainable tourism has gained prominence in both academic research and industry practice over the past decade, particularly in regions like Ciwidey, West Java, where natural beauty attracts a growing number of tourists. This increase in tourism brings both economic opportunities and significant environmental and social challenges, creating a need to balance economic growth with environmental preservation and community welfare. While existing literature emphasizes the importance of sustainable tourism, there is a noticeable gap in understanding how to build community capacity to manage these challenges effectively. Previous studies have often treated economic, social, and environmental aspects separately, lacking a comprehensive approach that integrates all three dimensions in a local context like Ciwidey. Given the strain on Ciwidey’s natural resources and the uneven distribution of tourism benefits, it is urgent to develop strategies that ensure equitable and sustainable economic development. By focusing on these issues, the research seeks to provide practical solutions that empower local communities to actively participate in and benefit from sustainable tourism. The study found that despite a growing awareness of sustainable tourism, significant barriers remain, such as limited resources and a lack of education and training. The success of sustainable tourism initiatives in Ciwidey depends largely on the community’s ability to engage effectively and take full advantage of the opportunities presented by inclusive tourism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan beberapa konsentrasi ekstrak daun paitan (Tithonia diversifolia) terhadap hama ulat grayak (Spodoptera litura F.). Percobaan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai Juli 2024 di Desa Sembalun, Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Parameter yang diamati adalah populasi hama, intensitas serangan, jumlah polong dan berat polong. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan yang terdiri dari P0 (Kontrol), P1 (Ekstrak Paitan 30 ml/1000 ml air), P2 (Ekstrak paitan 40 ml/1000 ml air), P3 (Ekstrak Paitan 50 ml/1000 ml air), P4 (Ekstrak Paitan 60 ml/1000 ml air), dan P5 (Ekstrak Paitan 70 ml/1000 ml air). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pestisida nabati (paitan) mampu menekan populasi dan intensitas serangan hama ulat grayak. Penggunaan konsentrasi ekstrak 30 ml/1000 ml air (P1) sudah mampu memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda dengan perlakuan control (P0). Ada kecenderungan semakin tinggi konsentrasi yang diberikan maka kemampuan dalam menekan perkembangan populasi maupun intensitas serangan hama semakin tinggi begitu juga sebaliknya.
