Abstract

ABSTRAKPandemi covid-19 yang merebak sejak awal tahun 2020 meresahkan masyarakat, perlu tindakan pencegahan. Demikian halnya Politeknik Negeri Jakarta, melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat (PengMas) telah berkontribusi mencegah dan memutus rantai penyebaran covid-19. Sementara itu, kemampuan para ahli untuk menurunkan percepatan sebarannya di sejumlah negara belum signifikan. Terbukti aktifitas Pemerintah, pengusaha dan pekerja, organisasi-organisasi masih dibatasi waktu dan ruang geraknya. Seluruh lapisan masyarakat menghadapi tantangan besar dalam upaya perlawanan pandemi covid-19. Perlindungan keselamatan dan kesehatan di tempat kerja sedang krisis. Kekhawatiran kembali beraktifitas semakin ragu untuk dicapai, penekanan penyebarluasan belum signifikan keberhasilannya. Sorotan terhadap risiko Keselamatan Dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) meningkat akibat penyebaran covid-19 makin meluas. Perkembangan eksplorasi perangkat untuk mencegah, mengendalikan risiko penyebaran covid-19. Antisipasi terhadap risiko psikososial, ergonomis dan risiko keselamatan/kesehatan warga agar  minimal memproteksi diri terhadap covid-19. Selain tertib melaksnakan 3M (menggunakan masker, mencuci tangan, dan menjaga jarak), kelompok Dosen Prodi Elekronika Industri (EI) telah merealisasikan Bilik Pengukur Suhu Tubuh. Masyarakat sasarannya adalah warga Blok Tempe, Citereup, Kabupaten Bogor dengan melibatkan remajanya. Setelah Bilik Pengukur Suhu teruji fungsinya kelompok Dosen EI melaksankan pendampingan kepada kelompok Remaja Blok Tempe (RBT). Pelaksanaan pendampingan juga melibatkan beberapa mahasiswa agar remaja lebih nyaman mengikuti pendampingan cara penggunaan Bilik Pengukur Suhu Tubuh. Tahapan pelaksaan PengMas perancangan/instalasi bilik, serah terima, dan pendampingan sebagai rangkaian utuh mencapai tujuan pemberdayaan remaja Blok Tempe. Hasil pendampingan tim pengMas adalah kemandirian kelompok RBT menggunakan bilik untuk pengukuran suhu tubuh. Khususnya ketua RBT yang sangat antusias mengelola dan mencoba memindahkan Bilik ke area lain di sekitar Blok Tempe. Kegagalan uji alat melunturkan minatnya untuk dapat menggunakan bilik, mengulang instalasi dan berhasil.

Abstract

— This study developed a hydroponic control system to regulate nutrient concentration (PPM) and water volume using a Proportional-Integral (PI) controller. The PI controller was chosen for its simplicity and effectiveness in systems that do not require fast response times. A trial-and-error method was used to tune the Kp and Ki values, which were implemented in an ATMega328 microcontroller. The system consists of one AC pump and two DC pumps: DC Pump-1 controls the PPM by supplying liquid fertilizer, while DC Pump-2 regulates the water volume. The results showed that modifying the PI controller with an integrator limitation improved performance. For PPM control, a limit of 13000 with Kp = 2 and Ki = 0.01 resulted in a 0.5% error, 56.8-second rise time, and a 4.8% overshot. For water level control, a limit of 12000 with Kp = 100 and Ki = 0.16 yielded a 3.25% error, 2% overshot, and a 65.4-second rise time. The test results demonstrated that the use of AB Mix can be reduced by up to 26% compared to a conventional PID, with an initial PPM value of around 350.

Abstract

Electricity generation remains dominated by fossil fuel–based sources, underscoring the necessity to optimize the utilization of solar energy through photovoltaic (PV) systems in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Variations in solar irradiance and temperature significantly influence PV performance, necessitating effective Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) methods. This present study proposes HI-POnIC as an adaptive development of conventional MPPT algorithms using a deterministic, feature-based decision mechanism. The method employed dynamic weighting and adaptive step adjustment to modify the control response to changes in PV operating characteristics, without any reliance on learning processes. Performance of the system was evaluated through convergence analysis, energy and power tracking efficiency, and spatial accuracy assessment. The findings from the simulation demonstrated that HI-POnIC achieved faster convergence and enhanced stability around the maximum power point when compared with conventional methods. Its lightweight and easily implementable adaptive structure has rendered HI-POnIC suitable for PV systems operating under dynamically varying environmental conditions.
