Abstract

Writing ability is a skill that must be mastered by students. One of the media can be applied in teaching writing is TV Newscast. The objective of this research is to find out whether the writing ability of the eleventh-grade students of SMKN 1 Kudus in 2016/2017 academic year after being taught by using TV newscast is better than before. This study is experimental research; in this research, the writer used one group pre-test post-test design. There are two variables; they are TV newscast (independent variable) and the students' writing ability (dependent variable). The population of the research is the eleventh-grade students of SMKN 1 Kudus in 2016/2017 academic year. The writer used random cluster sampling as the technique to take the sample. Then XI AK 1 (accountancy class) consists of 38 students was taken. The research used achievement test as instrument for measuring the students' writing ability before and after being taught by using TV newscast and then the data were analyzed using the statistical formula. Based on the result of this research, the t0 (obtained) was higher than t-critical (20.09 1.56). It showed that t0 (obtained) on the critical area and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Then the conclusion is that the writing ability of the eleventh-grade students of State Vocational School 1 Kudus in 2016/2017 academic year after being taught by using TV newscast is significant.

Abstract

The world of literature, particularly the novel, serves as an indispensable contribution that delves into the profound aspects of the human experience. Literary psychology, as a branch of literary studies, delves into the intricate psychological facets experienced by characters within novels. In this context, Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory identifies three fundamental elements of inner conflict: the Id, Ego, and Super Ego. Simultaneously, the emotional classifications elucidated by Albetrine Minderop encompass emotions such as guilt, self-punishment, shame, sadness, hatred, and love. This research endeavors to reveal and dissect the emotional classifications delineated by Albetrine Minderop. Employing qualitative descriptive research methodology, this study aims to scrutinize the conditions, circumstances, or aspects previously delineated, with the findings presented in the form of a comprehensive research report. The analysis within this study revolves around the inner conflicts experienced by the central character in Pramoedya Ananta Toer's novel, "Gadis Pantai." This research offers an intriguing perspective through the lens of literary psychology, providing a platform for new perspectives and insights.

Abstract

Guru merupakan tenaga pendidik profesional yang memiliki tugas pada instansi pendidikan, kinerja seorang guru sangat ditentukan dari kompetensi yang dimilikinya, kompetensi adalah seperangkat pengetahuan, keterampilan dan perilaku yang harus dimiliki, dihayati, dan dikuasai oleh guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Proses penilaian kinerja guru pada SMPN 27 Pekanbaru belum optimal , belum diterapkannya suatu penilaian yang lebih bersifat detail, praktis dan efektif. Kriteria penilaian saat ini pun tidak memiliki bobot, sehingga tidak diketahui kriteria prioritas, serta tidak terlihat keunggulan masing-masing guru pada kriteria tertentu dalam hasil penilaian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu membuat permodelan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Penilaian Guru Terbaik, dan menerapkan metode TOPSIS (Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution). Dengan menggunakan metode penelutuan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Waterfall (Analisa Kebutuhan, Desain Sistem, Penulisan Kode Program, Pengujian Program, dan Penerapan Program dan Pemeliharaan). Hasil penelitian ini adalah berupa sistem pendukung keputusan penilaian guru terbaik menggunakan metode TOPSIS dinyatakan lolos uji testing blackbox. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Penilaian Guru Terbaik menggunakan metode TOPSIS di SMPN 27 Pekanbaru layak digunakan

Abstract

The poem Asyiq min Falishtin is a poem with a romantic flow. This poem contains expressions of Mahmud Dharwis' feelings of longing for the peace and prosperity of Palestine, as well as describing the sadness and suffering suffered by the land of Palestine, so this poem is synonymous with expressions of feelings expressed in the form of expressions. This research is to analyze aspects of romantic expression in this poetry, which does not only focus on romance but the expression of feelings. By using descriptive qualitative research methods, it can be seen that Asyiq min Falisthin's poetry is poetry with a romantic flow, this is proven by the presence of romantic elements, namely the content of the poem tells about me who was hit by longing for the country of Palestine, using words that go back to nature, by calling herself "I" shows individualism, telling about how much the author longs and loves her and the suffering of the people of her country due to colonialism, shows primivism, uses elements of sentimentalism by expressing excessive emotions of sadness and depicting life as if it were strange.
