Abstract

This research aims 1) to analyze the socio-economic characteristics of hydroponic farming in Jambi City and 2) to analyze the influence of capital, land area and labor on the production value of hydroponic farming in Jambi City. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression. The results of this research show that based on the characteristics of hydroponic farming in Jambi City, it can be concluded that the average capital for hydroponic farming is IDR. 1,413,158, the average land area owned is 143M2, the average workforce is only 1 person, the average production of hydroponic vegetables produced is 84 kg and the average production value is hydroponic amounting to Rp. 1,004,632 per week. Based on the results of simultaneous tests, capital, land area and labor together have a significant effect on the production value of hydroponic farming in Jambi City. Then, based on the t test, it shows that capital and land area have a significant effect on the production value of hydroponic farming in Jambi City. While the labor variable has no effect on the production value of hydroponic farming, it is not significant on the production value of hydroponic farming in Jambi City. The knowledge Rsquare value is 0.984, meaning that 98.4 percent of the variation in hydroponic production of pokcoy plants by hydroponic farming is explained by variables in this research, while the remaining 1.6 percent is explained by other variables outside the research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the development of the Consumer Price Index, Labor Force Participation Rate, Investment and Provincial Minimum Wage and analyze the effect of the Consumer Price Index, Labor Force Participation Rate and Investment on the Jambi Provincial Minimum Wage. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis using secondary data. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that during the period 2002 to 2023 the average development of the Consumer Price Index was 2.51%, the average Labor Force Participation Rate was 0.08%, the average investment development was 20.17% and the development of the Provincial Minimum Wage was 11.03%. Simultaneously the Consumer Price Index, Labor Force Participation Rate and Investment have a significant effect on the Provincial Minimum Wage. Partially, the Labor Force Participation Rate has no effect on the Provincial Minimum Wage, while the Consumer Price Index and investment have an effect on the Provincial Minimum Wage.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Analyse the development of Economic Growth, Regional Original Revenue and General Allocation Fund on Capital Expenditure in Jambi Province during 2001-2023. 2) Analyse the effect of Economic Growth, Regional Original Revenue and General Allocation Fund on Capital Expenditure in Jambi Province during 2001-2023. Data is sourced from the Jambi Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The data was analysed using multiple linear regression models. The results showed that simultaneously Economic Growth, Regional Original Revenue and General Allocation Fund had a significant effect on Capital Expenditure. Meanwhile, partially Local Original Revenue and General Allocation Fund have a significant effect on Capital Expenditure in Jambi Province.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze, 1) City economic growth and employment opportunities in Jambi city; 2) Effect of urban economic growth on employment opportunities in Jambi city. The data used are time-series data from 2010-2018, derived from microdata from the Jambi Province National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) and GRDP data. The results showed; 1) The average economic growth of the city of Jambi in the period 2010 - 2018 was 5.7 percent, while employment opportunities experienced an average growth of 3.2 percent, 2). Estimation results with simple regression indicate a significant effect between GRDP growth on employment opportunities in Jambi city

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze: 1) the direct effect of capital expenditure and investment on the employment opportunities of Jambi Province in the period 2000-2018; 2) the direct effect of capital expenditure, investment and employment opportunities on the economic growth of Jambi Province in the period 2000-2018; and 3) the indirect effect of capital expenditure and investment on economic growth through employment opportunities in the Jamni Province period 2000-2018. The data analysis method used is path analysis. Based on the results of the analysis it is known that: 1) simultaneous capital expenditure and investment have a significant effect on employment opportunities in Jambi Province during the period 2000-2018, while partially the variables that significantly influence employment opportunities in Jambi Province are investment variables. 2) simultaneously capital expenditure, investment and employment have a significant effect on the economic growth of Jambi Province during the period 2000-2018, while partially the variables that significantly influence the economic growth of Jambi Province are investment and employment opportunities variables. 3) investment has an indirect effect on economic growth in Jambi Province, while capital expenditure does not have an indirect effect on economic growth in Jambi Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study knowing the influence and reciprocal relationship of economic growth, poverty on the environmental quality index. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Environmental Agency and the Central Statistics Agency. The results of multiple linear regression analysis with panel data Economic Growth Variables have no effect and are not significant, while the Poverty Variable has a positive and significant effect on IKLH .While for the Granger Causality the results show that the interaction between IKLH on Economic Growth that has a reciprocal relationship  is the Province of North Sumatra, West Sumatra and Bengkulu. And the interaction between IKLH on Poverty does not have a reciprocal relationship in 10 Provinces on the Island of Sumatra

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the social and economic conditions of rubber farmers in the Muhajirin Village, Jaluko District, Muaro Jambi Regency. In addition, it is also to analyze the factors that influence rubber production in Muhajirin Village, Jaluko District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The type of data used in this study is primary data obtained through a survey using a questionnaire. Samples of rubber farmers who were respondents in this study were 82 farmers. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive quantitative using multiple linear regression analysis tools. This study aims to analyzethe factors that have a significant influence in this study are land area, number of plants, number of tapping and labor. Furthermore, age of plant does not have a significant effect on the amount of rubber production in Muhajirin Village, Jaluko District, Muaro Jambi Regency
