Abstract

Beef trading industry in Indonesia is growing, both in terms of quantity and quality lead to the emergence of intense competition, therefore every trading company is required to be creative in the face of business competition in order to meet and satisfy the needs and desires of consumers. One way is through product development. One way is through product development. Product development is an important thing for a company to maintain its existence or at least can guarantee the survival of the company. It is also encouraging PD Carole Jaya which is engaged in beef and mutton trade, to create a new innovation that is the development of beef products by making beef jerky, as an alternative in the development of beef products and to increase sales productivity for maintaining the existence of its business. But of course, in the development of this product, should consider the investment plan, whether worthy or not product development is done, given the amount of capital required for the manufacture of this jerky. In the development of this product, there are three stages of the activities undertaken: preparation, execution (manufacturing process) and final stage. In the final stage of the activities undertaken is to process data, analyze the results of research and make conclusions. In this financial data processing using financial feasibility analysis tool with PayBack Period method, ARR (Average Rate of Return), NPV (Net Present Value), IRR (Internal Rate of Return) and (R / C Ratio) Business Efficiency and BEP (Break Event Point). The results of the investment analysis show that the PBP (Payback Period) of this investment is 3 months, ARR (Average Rate of Return) of 1.35%, NPV (Net Present Value) generated 27.998.634, - which means when NPV> 1, then the feasible investment, PI (Profitability Index) of 1.35 means that the investment can be run (Feasible), R / C Ratio of 1.35 means is, this investment is very efficient and profitable and BEP (production) of Rp. 258,500, - and BEP (unit) of 44.4 kg. Thus, the product development effort by making beef jerky is feasible to be implemented by PD. Carole Jaya.

Abstract

In manufacturing companies, production activities are a very important activity. If the production activities produce a lot of defective products, it will cause losses in the form of additional time and raw material costs for repairing these defective products, so that quality control is needed so that the company can produce products that comply with predetermined quality standards. This final project research was conducted at PT. XYZ Majalengka where this company is engaged in the service industry, production activities at PT. XYZ Majalengka is carried out based on a make to order response demand strategy, namely the company carries out production activities when there are orders from consumers. This research focuses on the production process of the pirn winder machine which functions to wind yarn raw materials according to the desired weight and according to the available TFO capacity (700 gr, 714 gr, 1000gr or 1500gr). However, regardless of production quality standards on the pirn winder machine, it does not rule out the possibility that defects will always occur. Therefore it is necessary to have quality control in the production process of this pirn winder machine. Its function is clear to reduce the number of defects and improve the quality of production produced. Statistical Process Control (SPC) is a statistical analysis used for quality control, starting from monitoring, analyzing, predicting, controlling and improving the production process and product quality through control charts. Statistical quality control using SPC (Statistical Process Control) has seven statistical tools that can be used as tools to control quality, namely, check sheets, histograms, P control charts, pareto diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, scatter diagrams, and diagrams. process.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan air bersih, merupakan kebutuhan yang sangat penting selama manusia hidup di muka bumi ini, sementara itu sumber air bersih semakin berkurang, oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu usaha yang baik agar kebutuhan akan air bersih bisa tersedia, baik dengan cara pemeliharaan hutan, pembuatan sumur resapan ataupun hal lain yang dapat dilakuakan, sehingga masyarakat luas baik perorangan ataupun lembaga bisa terpenuhi kebutuhannnya, apalagi seperti mushola yang membutuhkan air untuk kebutuhan berwudhu dan sebagainya, sehingga kebutuhan air menjadi sangatlah mutlak.  Sebagian besar wilayah pedesaan mungkin tidak memiliki akses mudah ke sumber air bersih yang aman. Air yang diambil dari sumur, sungai, atau mata air seringkali dapat terkontaminasi oleh bakteri, parasit, atau bahan kimia berbahaya. Oleh karena itu, filtrasi air diperlukan untuk memastikan ketersediaan air bersih yang aman untuk diminum dan digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tidak terkecuali untuk sarana ibadah, dimana memerlukan untuk kebutuhan wudhu setiap jamaah yang ada di sarana ibadah tersebut

Abstract

This research analyzes the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) at PT. KHE Benua Sentosa, comparing it to the standards established in Indonesia’s Government Regulation No. 50 of 2012. Recognizing the critical role of occupational health and safety (OHS) in promoting a safe work environment and enhancing productivity, this study investigates PT. KHE Benua Sentosa’s adherence to regulatory requirements, focusing on policies, planning, implementation, monitoring, and review mechanisms. Employing a qualitative approach with document analysis, the study evaluates the effectiveness of OHS policies at PT. KHE Benua Sentosa based on company documentation. The results reveal that PT. KHE Benua Sentosa has effectively implemented OHSMS standards in line with PP No. 50 of 2012. Key areas of compliance include risk assessment, regular training, performance audits, and continuous improvements, demonstrating the company’s commitment to regulatory standards and worker safety. These findings highlight the alignment between PT. KHE Benua Sentosa’s practices and national OHS standards, contributing to the broader discourse on effective OHS management in the construction sector.

Abstract

Measurement of Time Study in the jeans production process at Cikijing Black Viper Convection. Seeing the importance of measuring every activity carried out by the company, an accurate measurement method is needed to be able to provide precise information on the time needed and the efficiency of the movements of each activity to produce products. One method used to measure the time of the activity used is the time study method. Time Study is a work measurement technique by collecting data based on the time needed to complete a job. The Time Study method is used to calculate the standard time value of a job. Some factors that influence the production process are environmental factors, there are no work procedures, confusing procedures, human factors do other work before the job is finished, work while chatting, lack discipline, and rush in doing the work. By determining the adjustment seen from the skills of workers in doing their jobs, and determine the looseness determined from several factors that exist in the work environment, as well as workers, it can be obtained standard time of the production process.

Abstract

Building and maintaining infrastructure, can be said to be the same as building the future and civilization of a country. Referring to the 2018 World Bank Group, in 2018 Indonesia's infrastructure competitiveness was ranked 52nd, this achievement can be said to be good when compared to 2010-2013 which was in the 70s. Then based on a study conducted by Tusk Advisory in 2018, the long-term benefits generated by infrastructure development, especially the development of PSN (National Strategic Projects), are predicted to have an impact on an increase in GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of 7.2% in 2023 and 9, 3% in 2030. In realizing an effective and efficient production process and producing products in accordance with predetermined standards, a company must implement a policy, especially in terms of planning and controlling raw material inventory and production activities. The inventory management is aims to reduce a material fluctuation risk and production cost. The availability of raw materials is crucial in determining whether a production activity can run well or not. Delays or unavailability of raw materials can disrupt the company's production process. In order to avoid and minimize this, the company is expected to form a proactive management that is not only taking the initiative, but is responsible and brings good change, so that it can achieve the company's goals.

Abstract

XYZ Majalengka is a company engaged in the printing services industry. In simple terms, maklon can be interpreted as product processing services carried out by other parties. In the process of printing, the printing company will usually make a sample of the product before the product is mass-produced. Production activities at PT. XYZ Majalengka is carried out based on the respond demand make to order strategy, namely the company carries out production activities when there is an order from the consumer. In order to maintain customer satisfaction with company performance, a quality control is needed that involves everyone, both from the company itself. Defective product problems are a major concern for the company. Apart from that, it does not rule out the possibility that the TFO (Two For One) machine will always have or defects occur during the yarn twisting production process. Therefore it is necessary to have quality control in the production process in this TFO (Two For One). Its function is clear to minimize the number of defects and improve the quality of the products produced. Abstract

Broiler Chicken Farm is one of the business fields that is required to have good management so that maximum production results can be achieved. The purpose of this research is to find out how management functions are implemented in broiler chicken farms and to find out how production results are after the implementation of management functions in broiler chicken farms. The research location in this study was the location of the plasma farmer AS Putra 2 Cirebon in Bantarjati Village, Kertajati District, Majalengka Regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Collecting data by conducting in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques go through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. The data validation technique used is source triangulation. The results of this study, namely the implementation of management functions on broiler farms at PT AS Putra 2 Cirebon consists of several scopes, namely the scope of PT AS Putra 2 Cirebon, the scope of production, the scope of broiler chicken farms, and the scope of plasma breeder cages. Each scope has implemented management functions properly including Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling. The production results after implementing the management function are very good by obtaining an average production result with a Index Performance (IP) value of 415.5.

Abstract

Cirebon Regency is one of the cities in West Java that produces woven rattan furniture which is also capable of exporting abroad. There are not a few companies that exist in Cirebon district, there are several products such as chairs, tables, flower pots and so on. With the establishment of a rattan company in Cirebon Regency, it has opened up job vacancies for the people of Cirebon, and there are not even a few rattan woven workers who come from outside the city of Cirebon, such as from Majalengka, Kuningan, Indramayu Regencies and other cities around Cirebon Regency. But apart from that, more and more rattan companies in Cirebon have been established, resulting in less and less land in the rattan industrial area in Cirebon, land prices are increasingly expensive so that it can disrupt the production process that occurs in companies because market demand is increasing and booming and finally rattan companies in Cirebon district also have difficulties in developing their companies. Responding to the problems found, the company entered into work contract agreements with suppliers with the aim that the company does not need to prepare large areas of land to accommodate workers when they want to carry out the production process and prepare land for storage of rattan raw materials in the hope that they can export abroad but instead are able to produce more. many woven products produced by workers from suppliers. The company only needs to prepare the land for receiving semi-finished woven from suppliers, prepare a quality control team, as well as other processes such as finishing, packing and shipping to consumers. The existence of work contract agreements with suppliers makes the rattan production process very long, starting from giving SPK, purchasing raw materials, soaking raw materials, weaving processes, field quality control processes, shipping from suppliers to companies, the process of receiving goods from suppliers at the company, washing processes , the painting process, the final quality control process, the packing process, checking the temperature and humidity, up to the delivery process. The company hopes that by having a work contract agreement with suppliers it can fulfill market demand.

Abstract

Bata merah press majalengka berdiri pada tahun 2012, yang dimana sebelumnya bernama cbl bata merah. Jumlah produk yang dihasilkan dalam 8 hari produksi sebesar 3.800 bata. Dalam menghasilkan 3.800 bata itu membutuhkan tanah (bahan) sebanyak 1 dam truck, untuk konsumsi bahan bakar dalam satu kali produksi membutuhkan 10 liter solar per hari. Terdapat postur kerja yang bias pada UMKM Bata Merah Press Majalengka sehingga menyebabkan ketidaknyamanan dan nyeri pada beberapa bagian anggota tubuh sehingga menurunya konsentrasi, waktu produksi dan biasa mengakibatkan kecelakaan kerja, ataupun Cedera jangka panjang dalam bahasa Inggris disebut sebagai "chronic injury." Berdasarkan hasil wawancara pada saat studi lapangan rata-rata penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan kerja tersebut adalah menurunnya konsentrasi karena sering terjadinya nyeri pada salah satu bagian anggota tubuh terutama pada bagian punggung, leher dan lengan, oleh karena itu peneliti menggunakan Metode REBA ( Rapid Entire Body Assessment ) untuk menganalisis postur kerja operator tersebut. Setelah dilakukan pengolahan data, diketahui postur kerja Oprator pencamuran bahan masuk dalam kategori tingat resiko tinggi dengan sekor akhir hingga 8. Oprator pemotongan masuk dalam kategori tingat resiko sedang dengan sekor akhir hingga 7. Oprator pengambil bata merah dari mesin pemotongan masuk dalam kategori tingat resiko sedang dengan sekor akhir hingga 6. Oprator pengambilan bata merah dari tempat penyimpanan pertama masuk dalam kategori tingkat resiko tinggi dengan sekor akhir hingga 8. Oprator penaruhan bata merah pada tempat penjemuran masuk dalam kategori tingkat resiko sedang dengan sekor akhir hingga 7.
