Abstract

Abstract The Get Contact application is an application that can be easily downloaded for free through Playstore and Appstore. MSME stakeholders in Margosari Limbangan Kendal Village on average promote their products through social media and marketplaces. Online fraud is very rampant in the near future and there is a need for guidance for MSME stakeholders. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge to MSME stakeholders in Margosari Limbangan Kendal Village on how to use the Get Contact application in minimizing online fraud. Through this community service activity, it is expected that MSME stakeholders will be able to empower themselves by maximizing the use of Get Contact application, so that later in carrying out every transaction on social media and marketplace, they will be able to run smoothly and without worrying about online fraud. As a result of this activity, MSME stakeholders install and use the Get Contact application every time they conduct a transaction. MSME stakeholders feel very helpful because many phone and WA numbers that are entered but not known can be traced for their true identity. Pelaku UMKM di Desa Margosari Limbangan Kendal rata-rata mempromosikan produk mereka melalui media sosial maupun marketplace. Penipuan online dalam waktu dekat ini sangatlah marak dan perlunya adanya bimbingan terhadap para pelaku UMKM. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasikan ilmu kepada para pelaku UMKM di Desa Margosari Limbangan Kendal tentang penggunaan aplikasi Get Contact dalam meminimalisir tindak penipuan online. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan para pelaku UMKM mampu membentengi diri dengan memaksimalkan aplikasi Get Contact sehingga nantinya dalam menjalankan setiap transaksi di media sosial maupun marketplace mampu berjalan dengan lancar dan tanpa adanya rasa khawatir akan tindak penipuan online. Hasil dari kegiatan ini pelaku UMKM menginstall dan mengoperasionalkan aplikasi Get Contact setiap adanya transaksi. Para pelaku UMKM merasa sangat terbantu karena banyak nomor HP maupun WA yang masuk tetapi tidak dikenal bisa dilacak akan identitas kebenarannya. Kata Kunci : Get Contact, Pelaku UMKM, Sosial Media

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology, especially the internet and social media, has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including the business world. The internet has become a vital platform for running an online business, providing easy access to information and expanding market reach without geographic limitations. One social media platform that is increasingly popular in supporting online businesses is Shopee. This research aims to examine how using Shopee can increase income for online business people in Amposari Village, Pedurungan District, Semarang City. The method for carrying out this research includes preparation stages, training implementation, and evaluation. Training activities were carried out by lecturers and students of the Muhammadiyah Semarang Institute of Statistics and Business Technology for one month in March 2024. The training participants were Dasa Wisma women who were involved in various sectors such as agriculture, animal husbandry, and waste management. The training uses lectures, discussion, and question-and-answer methods to explore participants' ideas or opinions about online business development and increasing digital literacy. The research results showed that the participants were very cooperative and enthusiastic in all training activities. There are no significant obstacles that hinder the implementation of activities. The training material on Shopee social media was well received by participants, with 80% of participants understanding the content of the material presented. This training improved participants' abilities in optimizing business through social media, especially Shopee, and fostered an entrepreneurial spirit to improve people's lives. The conclusion of this research shows that Shopee has a significant influence on increasing online business revenue and offers great potential for new and established businesses. However, further research is needed to explore the most effective strategies for utilizing Shopee features to maximize revenue.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the income of retail traders in Karanganyar Regency, namely analysis of business capital, marketing strategies, and entrepreneurial characteristics on the income of retail traders in Karanganyar Regency.. This research uses a quantitative approach with primary data collected through questionnaires. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, which includes various types of retail businesses in Karanganyar Regency. The data analysis methods used include instrument testing, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing using SPSS for Windows. The research results show that business capital, marketing strategies, and entrepreneurial characteristics have a significant positive effect on retail traders' income. The Adjusted R² value of 0.872 shows that the three independent variables are able to explain 87.2% of the variation in retail traders' income, while 12.8% is explained by other factors. Validity and reliability tests show that the instruments used meet the validity and reliability requirements. The classical assumption test also shows that the data used meets the assumptions of normality, there is no multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. Based on the results of the analysis, it is recommended that retail traders increase creativity and innovation in entrepreneurial characteristics, as well as optimize business capital and marketing strategies, especially in the use of technology digital. Future research is recommended to take a larger sample and add other independent variables that might influence retail traders' income to obtain more comprehensive results. Abstract

This study aims to analyze how employee performance is influenced by career development variables and discipline with motivation as the mediating variable at PT J.A. Wattie Kendal. This study has a population of 126 people and all samples were taken using the census method. The method of analysis used in this research is path analysis. The results of data testing show Hypothesis 1 (H1) that good career development can increase employee motivation. Hypothesis 2 (H2) results in high level of work discipline that will affect employee motivation for the better. Hypothesis 3 (H3) states that providing good motivation can improve employee performance. Hypothesis 4 (H4) states that good career development can influence employee performance. While Hypothesis 5 (H50) states that a high level of work discipline will also improve employee performance. The results of testing hypothesis 6 (H6) states that good motivation is able to mediate career development which results in good employee performance. While testing hypothesis 7 (H7) states that good work motivation is able to bridge work discipline with employee performance. So it can be said that work motivation is able to be a good mediator for career development variables and work discipline on employee performance in PT. J.A Wattie Kendal.
