Abstract

his study aims to analyze the policies of the community oil palm rejuvenation program through the oil palm plantation fund management agency (BPDPKS) in South Labuhanbatu Regency. The data analyzed were obtained from the research location in Aek Raso Village, Torgamba Subdistrict, South Labuhanbatu Regency by conducting structured interviews with 165 farmers who applied for aid. This rejuvenation program policy has requirements consisting of administrative aspects and financing aspects. Research shows that the value of aid funds provided by the government in implementing oil palm rejuvenation has not been able to support the costs required. The percentage of farmers who have 2 ha of land area is 78.8% while those who have 4 ha of land area are 21.2%, the age of productive farmers is 68% while 32% of age is not productive. Farmers who have a legality of land as much as 36% and who are not legal as much as 64%. This policy has not been specific to the location proven from the data of 282 farmers who are members of the Gapoktan, there are 16% have not been able to take advantage of the policy. Costs needed by farmers from the beginning of planting until the maintenance period of the 3rd year is Rp. 60,364,349. Through indicative costs set by the government of Rp. 66,437,000, the difference in average value of farmers' needs is less than that set by the government, which is valued at Rp. 6,072,651, or 9.14%. Based on government funding of Rp. 25,000,000, - / ha / farmer then to meet the cost of rejuvenation of oil palm, farmers need matching funds with an average value of Rp35,364,349 / ha / farmer or 59% of the total funds.

Abstract

The average CSR development in PTPN-IV Adolina Business Unit has increased every year with a larger budget and realization. This study aims to determine the success factors of CSR which have a significant effect on the sustainability of oil palm companies, the elements that form a sustainable palm oil industry, the effect of good CSR implementation on the sustainability of the palm oil industry, building a CSR-based strategic management model towards the palm oil industry. sustainable. This research method uses descriptive quantitative research methods with a total sample of 102 people. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire measured through a Likert scale and secondary data through documentation studies. The data was processed with SPSS 20.0 for Windows software. Hypothesis testing uses Multiple Regression Analysis. Research to see the effect of corporate commitment, operational standard CSR internalization policies, involving the community on the implementation of CSR in the oil palm sector of PTPN IV Kebun Adolina. The results of this study concluded that company commitment, CSR internalization policies in operational standards and involving local communities, have a significant positive effect on CSR implementation, where the most significant positive effect is first involving local communities, then CSR internalization policies in operational standards and then corporate commitment companies towards the implementation of CSR in the oil palm sector at PTPN IV Kebun Adolina.

Abstract

Sampoerna Academy Medan is one of the international schools that contributes to the number of foreign workers (expatriates). Cultural diversity at Sampoerna Academy Medan becomes an opportunity and challenge for this organization to achieve optimal employee performance. This study has identified and classified three large categories, namely a mismatch in cultural diversity management leading to a high level of staff and leader turnover, employee disengagement in optimizing their performance, and the phenomenon of self-adjustment to changes in leaders in three consecutive years. This study uses the transformational leadership theory, cross-cultural leadership styles, cultural diversity management, and employee engagement concepts. This study applies triangulation through in-depth interviews, observation, and with employees at Sampoerna Academy Medan. By using qualitative methods and involving 12 respondents consisting of one local manager, one Filipino manager, one Indian manager, two local staff, two Indian staff, 2 Philippine staff, 1 Malaysian staff, 1 Chinese staff, and 1 England staff. The study found several short-term and long-term recommendations that can support performance optimization at Sampoerna Academy Medan, Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of the increasingly complex investment business requires companies to have quality human resources with a good corporate image in the eyes of the public and employees to support employee performance with career development that becomes an internal supporting factor for employees to achieve their targets. The work commitment of each employee is very much considered in order to achieve each company's goals. This research is motivated by fluctuations in employee performance which are influenced by public perception of the company's image and the lack of optimal career development in the work environment. The research method used is a quantitative approach with moderated regression analysis. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to employees at PT Rifan Financindo Berjangka Medan. This study used all employees of PT Rifan as a research population with a sample of 105 people with a data collection technique using a likert scale questionnaire. The results showed that company image and career development had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while work commitment did not play a significant role as a moderation variable even though it had a direct influence on performance. These findings confirm the importance of strengthening the company's image and sustainable career development programs as key factors in improving employee performance.
