Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan pengaruh STEM terhadap pemahaman konsep dan literasi sains siswa. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian meta analisis. Subjek dari penelitian ini sebanyak 15 artikel yang sudah terbit pada berbagai jurnal nasional dan jurnal internasional. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kuantitatif yang mengacu pada effect size yang diperoleh, setelah nilai effect size diperoleh maka akan di sesuaikan dengan kategori effect size yang telah dikelompokkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa dalam mencapai sebuah peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa dan literasi sains siswa dapat dilakukan dengan melalui pendekatan STEM dalam pembelajaran yang sangat berpengaruh dan efektif dalam mencapai peningkatan tersebut. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan STEM memiliki pengaruh  yang besar terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa dan literasi sains siswa.

Abstract

Telah dirancang sistem kipas otomatis menggunakan sensor PIR dan sensor suhu LM35 berbasis Arduino Uno. Sistem perangkat keras ini dirancang dari beberapa unit yang terdiri dari sensor PIR, sensor suhu LM35, program yang ditanamkan ke dalam mikrokontroler  Arduino UNO dan relay sebagai saklar otomatisnya. Semua unit yang digunakan tersebut digabungkan menjadi sebuah rangkaian dan akan menghasilkan output yang diinginkan. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam pengujian sensor PIR memperlihatkan bahwa sensor PIR dapat mendeteksi ketika ada pergerakan manusia sampai radius 8 meter dengan sudut 20o. yang menjadi kesimpulan tentang hasil otomatisasi terhadap kipas tersebut secara eksplisit Pengujian pada sensor suhu LM35 memperlihatkan bahwa suhu yang diperoleh dari sistem sensor ini dibandingkan dengan suhu yang diperoleh dari  alat sensor temperatur standar Lutron HT-3006HA menghasilkan korelasi linier R2= 0,9923 dalam keadaan suhu normal. An automatic fan system has been designed using a PIR sensor and an Arduino Uno based LM35 temperature sensor. This control system consists of a PIR sensor, an LM35 temperature sensor, a program embedded in the Arduino Uno microcontroller and a relay as an automatic swit. All units used are combined into a circuit and will produce an automatic fan will turn on when human movement is detected in the room and the speed of the fan depends on the specified temperature. The test results show that the PIR sensor can detect when there is human movement up to a radius of 8 meters with an angle of 20º. Testing on the LM35 temperature sensor under normal conditions shows that the sensor system compared to the Lutron-3006HA standard temperature sensor's temperature has a linear correlation R2 = 0.9923.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of modules in natural science learning on students' knowledge and critical thinking skills. This type of research is meta analysis. The subjects in this study were 20 articles that had been published in various national and international journals. The instrument used is coding. The data analysis method used is quantitative descriptive analysis which is guided by the effect size. After obtaining the effect size value, it is then classified into several groups and adjusted to the effect size category. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the average effect size module on knowledge is 1.36 and belongs to the very high category. While the average effect size of the module on students' critical thinking skills is 3.42 and classified in the very high category. The results in this study explain that the module has a very high influence in efforts to increase students' knowledge and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research is a meta analysis. This study aim to analyze the effect of STEM integrated science innovative learning model on students' critical thinking skills. The data collection technique used is the literature review technique, namely by searching and collecting journal articles taken from Google Scholar. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive statistical analysis which aims to obtain effect size values. Based on a meta-analysis of 20 research articles, information was obtained that in general the STEM integrated science innovative learning model has a high influence on students' critical thinking skills with a value of 1.10. If we look at the level of education, education area and learning model, they show that there are significant differences in each field. The greatest impact of STEM is seen at the college level.
