Abstract

In the face of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the role of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) needs to be strengthened. Especially now that small and medium enterprises are no longer seen as an alternative, but as the backbone or foundation of the country's economy. There are three things that must be considered and improved in an effort to strengthen the existence of SMEs, namely finance, improving Human Resources (HR) and innovating marketing models through digital technology. MSMEs in Kiaracondong District which are engaged in culinary and handicrafts are small businesses owned and developed by individuals in the guidance, direction and supervision of the Head of the Economic and Development Section at both the sub-district and village levels. In the time of COVID-19 pandemic, the majority of MSMEs in the Kiaracondong sub-district tend to experience a decrease in sales turnover, this is because the marketing of their products is still done conventionally and only around the neighborhood where they live. Therefore, the Langlangbuana University community service team provides assistance to SMEs to develop their entrepreneurial spirit, through discussion methods and FGDs for product innovation assistance, sales promotion strategies, online marketing strategies and digital literacy. The results of the mentoring activity showed that the SME participants in the Kiaracondong sub-district actively participated in mentoring activities and could understand the strategy for developing product variations and understanding digital literacy in marketing their products through social media such as Whatsapp groups and business WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram.

Abstract

Coconut waste, a largely untapped resource, holds immense potential for efficient utilization. However, this commodity's current production has yet to generate significant added value as coconuts are primarily used for coconut oil, and the fiber is often discarded as waste. This service research identifies challenges and communication barriers in using coconut dregs at the Gedebage Main Market, Bandung City. By employing the Community Research (CBR) service method through Forum Group Discussions (FGD), we aim to collaborate with the community to explore various approaches to the issues they face. Data was collected through a qualitative approach, including in-depth interviews, field observations, and literature studies. The service research findings reveal several challenges in utilizing coconut waste, such as infrastructure problems, licensing constraints, and the need for better-trained human resources. Meanwhile, communication obstacles faced include technical obstacles, namely the lack of accompanying staff or communicators who carry out outreach and provide information on the potential use of coconut dregs to the community. Technological obstacles include the unavailability of the required modern coconut waste processing machines. Institutional obstacles include unclear roles and responsibilities of the parties involved and the need for coordination between stakeholders in utilizing coconut waste. Your active participation and support are crucial in overcoming these obstacles and realizing the full potential of coconut waste.

Abstract

Analisis Six Big Losses mengidentifikasi kerugian terbesar pada Equipment Failure dan Set up and Adjustment. Rekomendasi termasuk penerapan Autonomous Maintenance dan Planned Maintenance untuk meningkatkan efisiensi mesin dan kualitas WFI.
