Abstract

The impact of covid-19 has had a huge impact in various sectors, especially for tourism actors and businesses, especially since Bali relies heavily on the tourism sector. In writing in the form of a literature review, it is further described the problems that arise and the impact of developments in the social, economic and environmental sectors during the Covid-19 pandemic by identifying the global covid-19 outbreak which immediately affects the development of tourism in Bali. In accordance with the Bali Provincial Regulation No. 2 of 2012, Bali tourism is based on culture that is able to drive tourism potential in the dynamics of local, national and global life. Currently the development of tourism in Bali has decreased drastically even to minus since 2020, which has paralyzed various sectors, especially in the economic sector, especially in the tourism business sector as well as in the employment sector which can be seen in layoffs (PHK) and the closure of tourism businesses due to the decline. requests from tourists. In the social sector, it can be seen from the behavior and habits of the community, tourism actors and tourists. Rules from the government to be implemented in the community in accordance with the prevention of the spread of covid-19 are more widely known as 3M (washing hands, wearing masks, maintaining distance) and CHSE (cleanliness, healthy, safety and environment) which includes a program for implementing health protocols. The environmental sector, which has an impact on the pandemic situation, has had a positive impact, given that the excessive and excessive exploitation of nature can now be minimized and reduced. Pollution caused by economic activity is also reduced, thus improving air quality and the environment. Seeing this condition, the government plays an important role in issuing policies for the community and the tourism component (stakeholders) so that they can remain active and productive in movements in the economic sector. In the tourism sector, government policies are urgently needed and can be realized immediately in the hope that tourism conditions will gradually recover.

Abstract

The development of Maritime Tourism in Indonesia is very high so that it can increase the country's foreign exchange earnings. The visit of tourists who come to Lovina beach is mostly to enjoy nature with a quite beautiful beach panorama. One of the main attractions possessed by Lovina Beach is watching dolphin attractions directly in the middle of the beach, where this activity can only be seen on Lovina Beach, located in the North Bali region.Tourists who come for a vacation to Lovina beach and enjoy dolphin tourism activities in general have a direct awareness of participating in preserving and maintaining the cleanliness of the beaches in Lovina Beach. This will have an impact on the continuity of dolphin tourism activities so that it continues to run and provides many benefits for various parties. The development of ecology-based dolphin tourism on Lovina Beach is with the aim of maintaining the survival of dolphins and the preservation of marine and coastal areas on the coast of Lovina so this not only involves the government but also from various parties. These activities require the involvement of the wider community, especially communities around the Lovina beach to provide and increase awareness and understanding of the importance of preserving the sea and the preservation of the coast, given that marine tourism activities are not only for the present but can continue to be utilized in the future.

Abstract

Garbage is an inseparable part of human life. Garbage is produced by humans as waste in fulfilling their needs. However, the presence of the garbage cause major environmental problems and threat to the tourism sector in Bali. Tourist comes to Bali to enjoy the splendour of its nature and cultures, but they have to see the reality that the island is less than their expectations. In contrast to Bali's image as a sun-drenched tropical island and the last paradise on earth, the ugly truth is that the island is awash in garbage. The beaches littered with plastic bags, bottles, straw, plastic wrappers. This phenomenon is getting worst especially on rainy season where most of garbage which is washed into waterways by the daily rains and carried into the sea resulting big mount of waste in the coast area.  Complaints came from tourists about this issue is an indication that they feel uncomfortable with the presence of this garbage. If there is no serious action and commitment to solve this issue, slowly but surely there are more tourist will skipping to visit Bali. Regarding to this issue, Balinese have no one to blame but themselves. Garbage becomes a big problem because people have a thought that illegal dumping is the norm. The active participation of all stakeholders such as goverment, industry, local community also visitor is needed to overcome this problem to realize sustainability of environment and tourism of Bali.  Keywords: Garbage, Tourism, Sustainable Tourism

Abstract

Tanah Lot tourist attraction is a popular tourist attraction among local and foreign tourists. Especially in the new normal era, Tanah Lot is preparing to be reopened as a major tourist destination for tourists visiting the island of Bali. This study develops a model with several hypotheses regarding tourist visits to the Tanah Lot tourist attraction. The method used is the PLS-SEM method. Structural model analysis or inner model is carried out to determine the relationship between latent variables that influence (exogenous) and latent variables that are affected (endogenous). This study uses 100 respondents, who are tourists visiting Tanah Lot. There are five latent variables, namely the quality of tourist objects, the attractiveness of tourist objects, visiting experience, tourist satisfaction and interest in visiting. The five latent variables are measured by a Likert scale. The description of this variable is an illustration to find out and increase the tourist attraction of Tanah Lot.

Abstract

The development of tourism on the island of Bali which is the largest foreign exchange contributor for Indonesia has not been able to provide significant economic benefits for the Balinese people. This can be seen from the increasing number of poor people in Bali covering urban and rural areas from 2012 to 2020, before the tourism sector experienced a significant decline due to the CORONA Virus pandemic. Based on these conditions, it is necessary to develop tourism which prioritizes improving the economy of the local Balinese community by involving local communities directly in tourism development. One of them is by developing traditional markets as a tourist attraction. The reason is because traditional markets are places for buying and selling transactions from all levels of society in Bali. In addition, the development of traditional markets into tourist attractions is expected to be able to compete with the increasing number of modern markets in Bali. The research location chosen is Kumbasari Market which is located in the city of Denpasar. Kumbasari is one of the biggest traditional markets in Bali and currently in the process of renovation. Before the pandemic Covid-19 spread in Bali, Kumbasari was open for 24 hours and became a place to earn a living for hundreds of people of Bali. This development strategy using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Internal and external factors before renovation analyzed to find various conditions whether it be shortcomings / weaknesses, threats, opportunities and strengths. This can be considered in efforts to improve the quality of the market, so it could be a place worth a visit for both local and foreign tourist so as to provide the maximum benefit for the economic improvement of the people of Bali.
