Abstract

Background: The integration of interactive, technology-based media in Physical Education, particularly for teaching health-related content, remains limited despite its potential to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Objectives: This study aims to address this gap by developing and evaluating the effectiveness of an Android-based multimedia learning application, "Healthy Habits," designed to support the delivery of healthy lifestyle materials in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (Physical Education) subjects at the junior high school level. Methods: The research employed a research and development (R&D) approach, involving expert validation from media and content specialists and usability trials with teachers and students. Results: Validation results indicated a "Good" rating from the material expert (average score: 4.05) and a "Very Good" rating from the media expert (average score: 4.24), confirming the application's content quality and technical feasibility. Teacher evaluations also yielded a "Good" rating (average score: 4.07). Student trials produced positive responses, with small group testing receiving a "Very Good" rating (average score: 3.29), which increased to 4.23 ("Very Good") in large group testing. An effectiveness test assessing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes showed an average score of 85.6%, categorized as "Very Good." These findings demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of "Healthy Habits" as a digital learning tool for promoting healthy lifestyles in secondary school students. Conclusions: The application offers practical value for educators and curriculum developers seeking to integrate mobile technology into Physical Education. Future studies are encouraged to explore the implementation of this application in varied educational contexts and its potential integration across other subject areas.

Abstract

Pendidikan Indonesia mengalami banyak kemajuan, namun upayanya masih belum maksimal. Hal ini terkendala masalah-masalah, seperti kurangnya kesejahteraan tenaga pengajar, minimnya akses terhadap pendidikan, hingga rendahnya tingkat pengetahuan dan ekonomi masyarakat. Hasil pretest tentang pemahaman kode etik guru terkait profesionalitas pendidik dalam kategori baik yaitu rata-rata 83,45. Hasil pretest di atas, tim pengabdian meyakini pemahaman kode etik guru dapat ditingkatkan dengan cara penyuluhan dan sosialisasi terpadu sehingga profesionalisme pendidik dapat dijalankan dengan maksimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dua hari di Kabupaten Purworejo Jawa Tengah dengan menggunakan metode seminar. Jumlah peserta yaitu 43 responden dengan metode pretest-posttest dengan pemberian materi ditengah-tengah kegiatan. Alat ukur pretest dan posttest menggunakan instrumen kuesioner tertutup tentang pemahaman kode etik guru. Hasil tingkat pemahaman kode etik guru dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner tertutup terdapat hasil peningkatan pretest dan posttest sebesar 6% setelah diberikan penyuluhan dan penguatan kode etik guru untuk peningkatan profesionalisme pendidik. Implementasi kode etik guru memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme pendidik dalam proses pendidikan di Indonesia. Dengan menerapkan kode etik, guru-guru dapat membangun landasan yang kokoh untuk praktik pendidikan yang beretika, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, inklusif, dan bermartabat bagi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pengaruh metode latihan Small-Sided Games dan Rondo terhadap peningkatan akurasi passing siswa pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler futsal di SMK Pelita Nusantara 1 Semarang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengan desain Pretest–Posttest Control Group Design yang melibatkan siswa ekstrakurikuler futsal yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok perlakuan. Pengukuran akurasi passing dilakukan menggunakan tes tendangan ke arah target gawang kecil yang telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode latihan mampu meningkatkan akurasi passing siswa secara signifikan, namun tidak ditemukan perbedaan efektivitas yang berarti antara metode Small-Sided Games dan Rondo. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kedua metode latihan sama-sama efektif dan dapat diterapkan sebagai alternatif strategi latihan oleh pelatih atau guru dalam pembinaan teknik dasar passing futsal di lingkungan sekolah, sehingga pemilihan metode latihan dapat disesuaikan dengan kondisi, kebutuhan, dan karakteristik peserta didik.

Abstract

Education is the main key to creating civilized humans. Character formation and development is carried out over time in the learning process at school. Efforts to form and develop character can be done through PJOK learning at school. This research aims to analyze character education through the game gobak sodor at SMKN 4 Semarang. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive type. The research sample was 32 students in class XI Automotive Engineering. Data collection instruments use observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that by implementing the Gobak Sodor game, it can grow and form character values in students, such as cooperation between followers of religions and beliefs, self-confidence, discipline, law-abiding, cooperation, solidarity, deliberation, hard work, creativity, courage, toughness, honesty and responsibility.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the values of character education present in the traditional game Bentengan within basketball material at SMKN 4 Semarang. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques include interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis was conducted through data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The subjects of this research are 36 students from class XI, majoring in mechanical engineering 1, divided into 2 groups for the traditional game Bentengan. The study results indicate the implementation of character values through the Bentengan game among class XI students of Mechanical Engineering 1 at SMKN 4 Semarang, including good communication, honesty, sportsmanship, risk-taking courage, leadership, adherence to rules, and fairness. From this research, it can be concluded that the traditional game Bentengan can be used to form and develop students' character within basketball material.

Abstract

This study investigates the potential implementation of blended learning in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) at SMA Negeri 9 Semarang. Blended learning, which combines traditional face-to-face instruction with online learning components, offers a balanced educational experience that addresses the challenges posed by traditional PJOK teaching methods. The research involved qualitative data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation, supported by literature reviews on blended learning in physical education. The findings reveal that while students and teachers are proficient with gadgets and digital systems, the application of technology in PJOK is still limited. The main issues identified include students' difficulties with theoretical assessments and the predominance of practical over theoretical teaching. The study highlights the readiness of teachers to adopt digital tools and the availability of adequate infrastructure to support blended learning. The analysis connects these findings with previous research, demonstrating that blended learning can enhance learning outcomes and motivation in physical education. The study concludes that implementing self-directed blended learning, where theoretical content is delivered online and practical sessions are conducted offline, could effectively address the identified challenges and improve the overall PJOK learning experience at SMA Negeri 9 Semarang.
