Abstract

Stress kerja merupakan salah satu masalah yang sering dialami para pekerja Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM). Masalah ini sering tidak disadari dan tidak terlalu dirasakan. Berbagai dampak negatif seperti perasaan depresi, performa kerja yang menurun, gangguan tidur hingga keinginan bunuh diri, dan dampak lainnya akan terjadi jika stress tidak mampu dikelola dengan baik. Pemberian terapi Mindfulness Perilaku Asertif (MPA) menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mengatur koping positif sehingga dampak negatif dari stress kerja dapat dicegah. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk melatih para pekerja UKM agar dapat menganggulangi stress kerja yang dirasakan dan menurunkan emosi negatif terhadap tekanan yang ada. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan penyuluhan kesehatan, demonstrasi, serta melakukan evaluasi para pekerja melakukan terapi MPA secara online. Terapi MPA dilakukan setiap hari dengan durasi 10 menit. Hasil yang didapatkan, para pekerja memiliki antusias dan keaktifan dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini. Berdasarkan hasil video yang dikirim kan oleh para pekerja, pemahaman serta kecakapan dalam melakukan terapi dinilai baik. Pekerja mampu menirukan dan mempraktikkan terapi MPA secara mandiri. Terapi MPA penting untuk dapat dilakukan secara rutin dengan langkah yang sesuai, agar efektif dalam mengatur koping positif dan meminimalisasi terjadinya stress kerja sehingga produktifitas pekerja UKM tercapai.

Abstract

Final year students will experience an increase in stress, especially in the process of writing a thesis. However, the stress can decrease when the student's welfare is in the high category. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between psychological well-being and stress in final year students. This study used a cross sectional design for 61 regular final students, namely Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Pharmacy. Primary data were taken using the Scales of Psychological Well-being (SPWB) and the Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-14). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a low relationship between psychological well-being and stress in final year students with a negative relationship direction (r=-.255; p=0.047).

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension in older adults is often accompanied by anxiety, which may worsen physical conditions and reduce quality of life. Coloring therapy, was implemented in this community service activity to reduce anxiety and improve the psychological well-being of older adults with hypertension. Methods: This community service was conducted at Posyandu Desa Ledug, involving 35 older adults hypertension who were registered at the posyandu, had good communication skills, and showed symptoms of anxiety. The aim to reduce anxiety and improve psychological well-being through coloring therapy. The implementation consisted of four phases, preparation include coordination with the local health center, assessment phase baseline blood pressure and anxiety measurement using the Geriatric Anxiety Scale (GAS), intervention phase and evaluation phase. Data were analyzed descriptively. Results: Most participants were aged 60 to 74 years (77.1%), female (85.7%), had hypertension for more than 10 years (57.1%), rarely attended check-ups, consumed antihypertensive medication (42.9%), and experienced moderate anxiety (65.7%). After  8-session coloring therapy intervention over 4 weeks, anxiety level improved. Mild anxiety increased to 57.1%, moderate anxiety decreased to 40%, and severe anxiety was found 2.9%. Conclusion: Coloring therapy had a positive effect in reducing anxiety among older adults with hypertension, shown by the increase proportion of mild anxiety and a reduce moderate and severe anxiety. This empowerment program indicates that coloring therapy can be applied as an alternative non-pharmacological intervention by healthcare providers and community health workers.
