Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of incentives and job satisfaction on performance of employees of PT Hamparan Orion Hasil Optimal. The existence of the phenomenon of the granting of incentives are not evenly distributed among employees who have long worked with the new work, the number of employees who resign, and employees did not achieve the sales target in the year 2017 aspects influenced the research. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The number of samples in the study were 95 employees. The results showed that the incentives and employee satisfaction employees partially affect the performance. Incentives and job satisfaction also affects the performance of employees simultaneously.

Abstract

This research aims to know and analyze the effect of the price and promotion to purchasing decision of SkinCare Novage in PT Ayu (Oriflame Swedan) Medan. The phenomenon of instability SkinCare Novage product caused by the high price and stagnant promotional motivate researcher to do this research. Analysis Methods of this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The technique of sample determination is simple random sampling. The results of the analysis found that the promotion affects buying decision most dominant. This is proved by the results of the calculation hypotheses on t- test and f-test. The results showed that either price or the promotion effects purchasing decision of SkinCare Novage partially and significantly on PT Orindo Alam Ayu (Oriflame Swedan) Medan. Price and promotion are also effect purchasing decision of SkinCare Novage simultaneously on PT Orindo Alam Ayu (Oriflame Swedan) Medan

Abstract

AbstrakBPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Medan Kota merupakan salah satu bagian pelayanan bagi setiap pegawai yang bekerja di pemerintahan dan juga karyawan-karyawan swasta yang bekerja di daerah khusus Kota Medan. Jaminan sosial yang diperoleh oleh masing-masing tenaga kerja terdiri dari jaminan pensiun, jaminan kecelakaan kerja, jaminan kematian, dan jaminan hari tua. Jaminan sosial tersebut wajib diberikan oleh setiap perusahaan pemerintahan maupun perusahaan swasta kepada masing-masing tenaga kerja dengan jumlah tertentu yang disesuaikan dengan bagian atau posisi besarnya tanggungjawab pada bidang pekerjaan pegawai atau karyawan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik dari penelitian ini adalah dimana masih ditemukan adanya prosedur yang kurang baik dengan kata lain memiliki prosedur yang panjang dan memakan waktu yang lama dengan persyaratan-persyaratan yang wajib dipenuhi. Peraturan-peraturan yang mempersulit pegawai atau karyawan dalam melakukan klaim dan kurang sistematis dengan pelayanan-pelayanan yang diberikan oleh BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Kota Medan. Untuk itu diperlukan pembenahan dan evaluasi kembali untuk pelayanan-pelayanan klaim jaminan sosial pegawai atau karyawan sehingga tidak menimbulkan masalah dan benar-benar dilakukan berdasarkan undang-undang yang berlaku.Kata kunci : BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Klaim, Prosedur, Jaminan Sosial, Jaminan pensiun.AbstractBPJS Ketenagakerjaan Medan City Branch is one part of the service for every employee who works in the government and also private employees who work in a special area of Medan City. Social security obtained by each worker consists of pension insurance, work accident insurance, death insurance, and old age insurance. The social security must be provided by every government company or private company to each worker with a certain amount that is adjusted to the part or position of the magnitude of the responsibility in the field of work of the employee or employee. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation.The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that there are still procedures that are not good, in other words having a long and time-consuming procedure with requirements that must be met. Regulations that make it difficult for employees or employees to make claims and are less systematic with the services provided by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Medan City Branch. For this reason, it is necessary to reform and re-evaluate social security claim services for employees or employees so that they do not cause problems and are actually carried out based on applicable laws.Keywords: BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Claims, Procedures, Social Security, Pension Security.

Abstract

 Kinerja karyawan diidentifikasi mampu dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yang dapat meningkatkan atau bahkan menurunkan kinerja karyawan. Faktor-faktor tersebut diantaranya adalah stres kerja, beban kerja yang berlebih serta lingkungan kerja yang kurang kondusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja, beban kerja, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Cabang Belmera. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari hasil kuesioner kepada 50 orang responden untuk kemudian dilakukan analisis secara statistik. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil pada penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Stres Kerja (X1), Beban Kerja (X2) dan Lingkungan Kerja (X3) berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y) di PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, Cabang Balmera, Medan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Temuan di atas menjabarkan bahwa perusahaan hendaknya dapat menerapkan upaya-upaya untuk mencegah terjadinya stres kerja, tingginya beban kerja dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja guna mencapai kinerja karyawan yang lebih optimal.

Abstract

Public information disclosure is an important element in good governance, especially in increasing transparency and accountability of state institutions. The North Sumatra Election Agency (Bawaslu) has a strategic role in ensuring the disclosure of information related to election supervision. This community service activity was carried out to increase the understanding of Bawaslu members in the North Sumatra region in reporting information on the results of Bawaslu activities in the supervision of the 2024 elections. The method used is seminars and questions and answers about regulations and best practices in conveying information to the public involving academics and practitioners. The results of this activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of good information management and the application of accountability principles in the preparation of reports. With this activity, it is hoped that Bawaslu members can implement better reporting standards to increase public trust in election supervisory institutions.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to evaluate the role of Bawaslu's public relations in increasing public participation in the 2024 Simultaneous Elections, through collaboration with students and activists. The activity was carried out in the form of a seminar and forum group discussion (FGD) involving 50 participants from students and activists in Binjai City. This event was held on March 6, 2025, at the Graha Kardopa Hotel. Through the presentation of material by speakers from Bawaslu North Sumatra, and Management Lecturers from Prima Indonesia University as well as open discussion sessions, this activity encourages a deeper understanding of the strategic role of public communication and public relations in the implementation of transparent and participatory elections. The evaluation results showed that collaboration between students, activists, and Bawaslu was able to strengthen the effectiveness of political communication and increase the participatory awareness of the younger generation. This activity is expected to be a model of educational synergy between election organizing institutions and civil society groups in supporting healthy and inclusive democratic practices.

Abstract

Skintific adalah merek skincare yang menggabungkan bahan alami dan teknologi modern untuk mengatasi masalah kulit seperti jerawat, kulit sensitif, dan penuaan dini. Meski berkualitas, Skintific menghadapi tantangan berupa harga yang relatif tinggi, keluhan efek samping, serta promosi yang kurang efektif. Hal ini menyebabkan konsumen cenderung memilih merek lain yang menawarkan harga lebih terjangkau dan promosi menarik. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Prima Indonesia angkatan 2021–2024, karena jumlah populasi cukup besar, maka ditetapkan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kepercayaan 90% dan margin of error sebesar 10%, sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 97 responden. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor harga, keamanan produk, dan promosi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Skintific melalui TikTok Shop di Kota Medan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) was implemented in Siantar Martoba, Pematangsiantar City, with the aim of enhancing the local economy through empowering farmer groups in optimizing backyard land. The program is a collaboration between Universitas Murni Teguh PSDKU Pematangsiantar, Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia, and the Food Security and Agriculture Office of Pematangsiantar City, attended by 15 farmers on July 4, 2025. The resource person, Henry Dunan Pardede, S.P., M.M., provided training on cultivating high-value crops such as California Papaya and Caplak Chili. The activities consisted of preparation, training, field assistance, and distribution of seedlings. The results showed an improvement in skills, entrepreneurial motivation, and more productive use of backyard land. This program also contributed to the achievement of SDGs point 1 (No Poverty), point 2 (Zero Hunger), and point 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by strengthening the local economy based on agricultural potential. With a community-based approach, this program successfully increased food security, household income, and the sustainability of agricultural practices, while demonstrating the effectiveness of empowerment that can be extended to other areas facing similar challenges.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has led to significant changes in the tourism industry sector, particularly in Indonesia. Innovative experience is one of the key factors in understanding tourist behaviour. This study analyses the relationship between innovative experiences and the value of returning tourists to zoos in Pematangsiantar. The research employed an explanatory quantitative approach, collecting data through a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale administered to 97 tourists, using the Slovin margin of error formula of 0.1. Statistical data processing utilises SPSS to test validity, reliability, normality, and heteroscedasticity, as well as to perform hypothesis testing and conduct simple linear regression. The results showed a significant influence of innovative Experience on tourist return visits (R² = 0.787)—the practical contribution of research in implementing technology-based tourism activities, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia.
