Abstract

Introduction to the active role of parents is one of the keys so that children can have social skills in daily life well and independently for visually impaired children. Children spend a lot of time at home and do activities at home so mentoring from parents is very important, as this potential must be increased. The purpose of the research is to make programs to improve the ability of parents to mentor visually impaired children in social skills, especially in daily living activities in the home environment. The method used qualitative research, collecting data with observations and interviews of teachers and parents further based on the results was designed to program and be tested in the field. The findings are still a lack of restraint and the active role of parents towards the condition of visually impaired children, so parents have difficulty in mentoring at home based on the development of programs to increase the role of parents in mentoring the child. The conclusion of the program is effective to improve the understanding and active role of parents in mentoring children to improve the social skills of visually impaired children in the home environment so that the child's development can be more optimal and independent.

Abstract

Spodoptera frugiperda is a new pest in Indonesia that attacks corn and can cause up to 100 percent damageon young plants. As an invasive pest, information on potential indigenous natural enemies that cancontrol this pest is needed. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of indigenous entomopathogenic fungi and their application methods on mortality, feeding activity, growth, fecundity, and fertility of S. frugiperda. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Block Design (RCBD) method consisting of 10 treatments. Treatmentstested werecombination of fungi species, namely Fusarium sp., Aspergillus oryzae, Entomophthora sp. with conidia density 109 ml-1, distilled water and cypermethrin at concentration of 1 ml.L-1 as a control. Two application techniques used were direct application on S. frugiperda larvae and diet test. Each treatment was repeated three times resulting in30 experimental units. Variables observed included mortality, feeding activity, growth, fecundity, and fertility of S. frugiperda. Results showed that the three fungi and cypermethrin treatment did not cause mortality, but reduced feeding activity, fecundity and fertility of S. frugiperda. Application of entomopathogenic fungi ondietswas more effective than directly spraying S. frugiperda larvae. The best treatment combination that suppressed feeding activity was the application of Aspergillus oryzae sprayed on S. frugiperda diet.It was also suspected that S. frugiperda larvae used in this test had developed resistance to cypermethrin.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education subjects, which are indicated by the scores of students who are below the minimum completion criteria. This phenomenon can be seen from various obstacles in the learning process, which indicates less than optimal understanding of students. The research aims to analyze the Questions Students Have learning strategy in improving students' learning outcomes in Islamic schools in Indonesia. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. To ensure a smooth process, the research was designed through four main stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that it has been able to improve students' learning outcomes. Before the action was taken, the percentage of students who reached the minimum completion criteria was only 43.8%, which was categorized as less. After the implementation of the strategy in cycle I, the figure increased to 68.8%, and in cycle II it reached 87.5%, which is classified as a good category. This finding proves that the Questions Students Have learning strategy is effective in improving learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects.

Abstract

This study evaluates the dynamics of digital Qur`anic exegesis within the framework of adaptation and the crisis of religious authority in the age of social media. Employing a qualitative-descriptive approach using netnography and content analysis, the research explores tafsir content on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. The findings indicate that digital tafsir expands public access to the Qur`an in visual, contextual, and interactive ways through infographics, short videos, and animations based on digital hermeneutics. However, there is a significant shift in authority, from classical scholarly lineage (sanad) to algorithmic authority, where popularity and engagement metrics determine legitimacy. The study reveals the ambivalence of digital tafsir, while innovative, it is also vulnerable to epistemological fragmentation. Strengthening Islamic literacy and constructing a hybrid authority model are therefore necessary. This research contributes to the integration of Qur`anic studies, digital media theory, and religious authority in an interdisciplinary framework.

Abstract

Clove production in Indonesia is frequently encounters significant impediments from pathogenic diseases during the crucial nursery stage. Reliance on chemical fungicides raises environmental concerns and contributes to pathogen resistance. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Trichoderma atroviride as a biocontrol agent for disease management and growth promotion in clove seedlings. This research was conducted using a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design with 6 replications. The method involved applying T. atroviride at varying dosages to clove seedlings, followed by observations of disease intensity and growth parameters such as plant height and stem diameter. The results demonstrated that T. atroviride application significantly reduced disease intensity, with an optimal dosage of 10 ml/plant exhibiting very high effectiveness. Morover, T. atroviride consistently led to significant increases in seedling height and stem diameter, resulting in more robust and physiologically well-developed planting material suitable for transplantation.

Abstract

The low academic performance of fifth-grade students in Social Studies at SDN 016 Balung—where only 44% met the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM)—along with limited interest, participation, and confidence during lessons, served as the background for this study. The research aims to improve learning outcomes through the implementation of the active learning strategy Giving Question and Getting Answers (GQGA), which positions students as active agents in the learning process. A Classroom Action Research (CAR) design was employed over two cycles within one month, using observation, tests, and documentation for data collection. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods to evaluate improvements in teacher activity, student activity, and learning outcomes. The findings indicate substantial improvement: teacher activity increased from 66.07% (fairly good) in the first cycle to 89.28% (good) in the second cycle; student activity rose from 69.42% to 89.14%; and student mastery improved from 44% (pre-intervention) to 60% in the first cycle and 88% in the second cycle. These results demonstrate that the GQGA strategy effectively enhances student engagement and academic achievement in Social Studies. It is therefore recommended as an alternative active learning approach that fosters optimal and sustained student involvement in primary education.

Abstract

The high unemployment rate in Indonesia necessitates that university students not rely solely on formal employment opportunities but also develop the ability to create opportunities through entrepreneurial activities. However, observations at STIT Payakumbuh reveal that many students exhibit low entrepreneurial interest, influenced by perceptions that entrepreneurship requires substantial capital, involves high risk, and demands strong self-confidence—qualities they believe they lack. This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and entrepreneurial knowledge on students’ entrepreneurial interest at STIT Payakumbuh. A quantitative field research approach was adopted, involving a questionnaire distributed to 30 respondents selected using probability sampling. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption testing, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination, processed using SPSS 24. The results indicate that motivation has a significant effect on students’ entrepreneurial interest, and entrepreneurial knowledge also contributes positively in a partial capacity. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence entrepreneurial interest, with a combined contribution of 60.8%. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening internal motivation and enhancing entrepreneurial literacy to foster student readiness and a proactive mindset toward independent business ventures.
