Abstract

This research is motivated by a lack of primary school students’ critical thinking skills. This research was conducted to recognize the influence of the CLIS learning model on the student's critical thinking skills on natural science subjects on the material of phase transition in fourth grade. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experiment, namely the nonequivalent group pretest-posttest control group design. The sources of data in this research were 40 fourth-grade students in one of the primary schools in Sumedang Regency, which was divided into 20 students in the experimental class and 20 students in the control class. The research results revealed that the CLIS learning model influenced the students’ critical thinking ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai dan makna budaya Pupuh Sunda sebagai landasan pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal. Pupuh Sunda, bentuk puisi tradisional Sunda yang diatur oleh aturan-aturan struktural tertentu, kaya akan nilai-nilai budaya, moral, dan sosial. Namun, dengan munculnya modernisasi dan globalisasi, minat terhadap seni tradisional seperti Pupuh Sunda telah menurun di kalangan generasi muda. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan semiotik, khususnya teori Roland Barthes, untuk menganalisis makna yang terkandung dalam Pupuh Sunda, dengan fokus pada karya-karya yang diterbitkan oleh Studio Karawitan STSI Bandung dan dikarang oleh  Godi Suwarna. Dengan menelaah tanda-tanda dan makna simbolik dalam pupuh, penelitian ini berupaya memahami relevansinya dalam membentuk karakter dan mempromosikan nilai-nilai lokal dalam masyarakat kontemporer. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan analisis struktural dan semiotik untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai yang disampaikan dalamKata Kunci: Bahan Ajar, Kearifan Lokal, Ekoliterasi
