Abstract

Clinical pharmacy services in primary healthcare centers (Puskesmas) are crucial components of the primary healthcare system. However, their implementation remains varied and suboptimal across different regions in Indonesia. This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of clinical pharmacy services in Puskesmas within North Banjarmasin District based on established quality indicators. This cross-sectional observational study was conducted in five Puskesmas in North Banjarmasin District. The evaluation used 19 clinical pharmacy service quality indicators developed through a modified Delphi method. Data were analyzed descriptively, the Friedman test was used to compare service quality. Clinical pharmacy service achievements varied among Puskesmas, 36% to 63%. Puskesmas A showed the best performance (63%, good category), while Puskesmas D was the lowest (36%, poor category). Aspects showing good performance included prescription service time and generic drug use. Areas needing improvement included prescription review documentation, drug labeling, and implementation of advanced clinical pharmacy services. The Friedman test showed no significant difference in service quality among Puskesmas (p > 0.05). The implementation of clinical pharmacy services in North Banjarmasin District Puskesmas varies and requires improvement. A coordinated strategy for standardizing procedures, capacity building, and strengthening documentation systems is needed to optimize clinical pharmacy services at the Puskesmas level.

Abstract

The community service program "Sehat Mandiri Patih Muhur Baru: Towards a Prosperous Village Through Inclusive Literacy Corner" was implemented to improve community knowledge and understanding of nutrition, health, and stunting prevention in Patih Muhur Baru Village, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan. This program integrates digital technology and practical health tools in the Inclusive Literacy Corner as an easily accessible center for health information and monitoring. The implementation methods include socialization, training of health cadres, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation. Results show significant improvements in community knowledge and awareness about balanced nutrition, exclusive breastfeeding, stunting prevention, and independent health monitoring. The Inclusive Literacy Corner recorded an average of 2 visitors per day with a total of 60 visits in the first month. Surveys indicate an increased understanding of stunting (80%), exclusive breastfeeding practices (85%), and utilization of health services (90% for Posyandu). The main challenges include limited internet access and low levels of digital literacy. This program demonstrates the potential of an inclusive health literacy approach in improving rural community health and supporting stunting prevention efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work culture, training, and employee placement on employee performance in PT. Bank Perekonomian Rakyat Sumatera Selatan. This type of research is Associative. The variables used by the researcher are Work Culture, Training, Employee Placement, and Employee Performance. The sample in this study was 128 Employees of PT. Bank Perekonomian Rakyat Sumatera Selatan selected by Cluster Random Sampling. The primary data used in this study was collected through a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression. The results of this study indicate that (1) Work Culture, Training, and Employee Placement together have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, and (2) Work Culture has a positive but insignificant effect on Employee Performance. (3) Training has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. (4) Employee Placement positively and significantly affects Employee Performance.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a leading palm oil producer, generates massive quantities of Oil Palm Frond (OPF) waste that are currently underutilized, especially in Kalimantan and Sumatra. This study evaluates the technical feasibility of converting OPF biomass into green ammonia as a sustainable fuel alternative. A steady-state process simulation was developed using Aspen Hysys that integrates biomass gasification, syngas cleaning, a Water-Gas Shift (WGS) unit, and a high-pressure ammonia synthesis loop. Based on a feedstock input of 16,000 kg/h, the simulation yielded an ammonia production rate of 8,381 kg/h, achieving a biomass-to-ammonia conversion ratio of approximately 1.9:1. The product purity reached 97.18 mol% (equivalent to 98–99 wt%), meeting industrial standards for commercial applications. Plant performance analysis indicated an energy conversion efficiency of 55% and a specific energy consumption of 1.03 kWh/kg NH3 across the compression and synthesis sections. These results confirm that the gasification of OPF is a technically viable pathway for green ammonia production, offering a promising solution for biomass waste management and supporting Indonesia's transition toward renewable energy.
