Abstract

The rapid expansion of social enterprises in Indonesia reflects a growing response to pressing socio-economic challenges. Existing research on Indonesian social entrepreneurship often examines these issues in isolation, lacking a comprehensive, integrative perspective. This study addresses this gap by conducting a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 94 Scopus- and Google Scholar-indexed research articles, analyzed using Publish or Perish 8 and Covidence software. The findings reveal six interdependent dimensions shaping Indonesia’s social entrepreneurship ecosystem: (1) organizational and policy frameworks, (2) business models and financial sustainability, (3) social and economic impact, (4) education and innovation, (5) religiosity and cultural influences, and (6) gender dynamics. Unlike prior studies that focus predominantly on descriptive narratives and case studies, this research provides a holistic, critical analysis, highlighting persistent gaps in policy implementation, financial accessibility, and cross-sector collaboration. The study also situates Indonesia’s social entrepreneurship landscape within a broader global context, identifying key disparities and potential areas for alignment with international best practices. The findings carry significant implications: for academics, the study establishes a foundation for future research on policy interventions and sustainable business models; for policymakers, it underscores the urgency of developing structured financial support mechanisms and regulatory frameworks; and for social entrepreneurs, it provides a strategic roadmap to navigate challenges, leverage opportunities, and enhance impact. Ultimately, this research underscores the critical need for targeted interventions to strengthen Indonesia’s social enterprise sector. Without a concerted effort to address systemic constraints, the sector risks stagnation, limiting its ability to drive inclusive economic growth and social transformation.

Abstract

Banyak konten media sosial berbahasa Indonesia yang sangat buruk dalam menggambarkan profil dari Ataturk. Tokoh ini tidak hanya digambarkan bersebarangan dengan Islam namun juga memiliki ajal yang penuh dengan azab. Menariknya hal yang berkebalikan terjadi pada masyarakat Turki itu sendiri. Disana tokoh Ataturk sangat dipuja dan tempatkan secara terhormat sebagai pendiri sekaligus penyelamat bangsa Turki dari penjajahan barat. Hal ini akhirnya menimbulkan suatu pertanyaan penelitian menarik mengenai bagaimanakah semiotika dari konten demonisasi Ataturk yang ada di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan model semiotika Danesi dan menemukan bahwa terdapat tiga narasi utama. Pertama Ataturk dinarasikan sebagai tokoh yang sangat buruk karena membubarkan Kekhalifahan Utsmaniyah. Kedua, Ataturk mengalami azab saat kematiannya (sakratul maut) hingga saat ia dikuburkan sampai saat ini. Ketiga, Ataturk adalah antitesa dari tokoh-tokoh Islamis seperti Presiden Erdogan. Keempat, Ataturk adalah penjelmaan dari Firaun pada masa modern. Selain itu konten-konten yang diteliti juga mempropagasikan mitos mengenai ideologi khilafah yang dapat di jabarkan dalam tiga poin. Pertama, keyakinan bahwa khilafah wajib di dirikan. Kedua, keyakinan bahwa khilafah adalah jalan keluar bagi semua permasalah umat. Ketiga, keyakinan bahwa upaya mendirikan kekhalifahan adalah upaya yang realistis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of principles and ethics in social media management based on PERMENPANRB No. 83 of 2012 on the Instagram accounts of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in the Semarang City Government. It also evaluates content strategies to enhance public engagement and build trust. This qualitative study observed 32 official Instagram accounts of OPD, utilizing content analysis, interviews, and engagement rate (ER) measurements with HypeAuditor tools. The results show that most OPD accounts have low ER, although some accounts achieved better performance through interactive and relevant content. Key challenges include limited human resources, lack of training for social media administrators, and a dominance of routine activity reporting without participatory communication strategies. Additionally, overlapping roles between content administrators and Public Information and Documentation Officers (PPID), coupled with a paternalistic leadership style within OPD, further contribute to the low level of public engagement. This study recommends optimizing social media management strategies through capacity building for account administrators, implementing two-way communication approaches based on data analytics, and establishing digital communication policies that promote flexibility and innovation. These strategies can enable government social media to function more effectively as a platform for transparency, interaction, and collaboration with the public, while sustainably building public trust.
