Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in cultivating social caring character among junior high school students. This research uses a qualitative approach by producing descriptive data. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that PAI teachers at Al-Hidayah Middle School in Medan foster students' social caring character through providing motivation, input and positive direction for the students' future. Obstacles faced include limited time, lack of student discipline, and low student motivation. To overcome these obstacles, PAI teachers collaborate with other subject teachers to provide role models and teaching that strengthens the character of social care, both in the school environment and outside of school. Apart from that, teachers also play an active role in motivating students to improve their social care character. The impact of this research shows the importance of the strategic role of PAI teachers in forming students' characters who care more about each other, so that they can create a school environment that is more inclusive, harmonious, and supports the formation of a young generation who has high social awareness. These findings can be a guide for other schools in designing learning programs that are integrated with strengthening social care characters.

Abstract

Pendidikan pancasila menjadi bagian penting dalam penerapan Profil Pelajar Pancasila guna membentuk karakter siswa. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran example non example terhadap hasil belajar nilai norma pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Tlogosari Kulon 01. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan metode pra experiment. Penelitian menggunakan one-group pretest posttest design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Tlogosari Kulon 01 dengan sample penelitian siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 28 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan analisis data menggunakan uji t (t-test). Hasil penelitan diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 59,64. Sedangkan setelah penerapan example non example nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 82,50. Didapat hasil uji hipotesis thitung 10,824 > ttabel 2,052 dan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05. Disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang diartikan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan model example non example terhadap hasil belajar nilai norma siswa kelas V SD Negeri Tlogosari Kulon 01

Abstract

This survey was carried out to learn about the initiatives used to raise student morale in the course of akhlakul karimah. Researchers used qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. By using this method, researchers obtained the results of interviews about their efforts to improve student morals. The researcher selected the teacher contact for this study. From the research we conducted, it is clear that any effort an educator or teacher can make to improve student morals is to set a good example, starting with the teacher and emulating by students. Efforts made by the teacher include giving lessons on reading the Qur'an and memorizing Juz 30, providing memorization related to dhuha prayers, carrying out congregational prayers, and instilling good morals in their students. This effort is made to ensure that students have good morals. The result of these efforts is that around 98% of students already reflect good morals. Efforts to improve student morals have been successful, and it can be said that many students already have good morals. However, because of the environment in which students live, this attitude does not rub off on some students.
