Abstract

Kecemasan adalah kondisi mental atau psikologis yang ditandai dengan perasaan takut dan cemas, keadaan ini muncul saat individu mengalami bahaya atau ancaman. Tingkat kecemasan tersebut bisa berkaitan, baik secara langsung maupun tidak, dengan persiapan dan ekspektasi terhadap keberhasilan menghadapi suatu ujian yang tentu akan menentukan suatu nilai didalamya. Perolehan skor OSCE seringkali menjadi sumber kekhawatiran saat menghadapi ujian, terutama jika skornya digunakan untuk menentukan keputusan penting. Ini menuntut mahasiswa untuk meraih skor yang tinggi demi mencapai hasil yang diinginkan (nilai baik). Nilai juga menjadi salah satu ukuran yang menandakan sejauh mana mahasiswa sukses selama masa pendidikannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan dengan pencapaian nilai OSCE mahasiswa. Studi ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan Cross Sectional metode observasional analitik. Teknik sampling menggunakan Total Sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 89 responden. Setelah menjalankan Uji Rank Spearman menggunakan SPSS for Windows dengan menggunakan α sebesar 0,05 dan didapatkan nilai Sig sebesar 0,828 sehingga α < sig. Sehingga terjadi penolakan H1 dan penerimaan Ho yang berarti tidak ada hubungan bermakna antara tingkat kecemasan dengan nilai OSCE mahasiswa S1 Keperawatan Tingkat 1 di Laboratorium STIKES Banyuwangi Tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menunjukan tidak terdapat korelasi signifikan antara tingkat kecemasan dengan hasil ujian OSCE mahasiswa tingkat 1 program studi S1 Keperawatan di Laboratorium STIKES Banyuwangi Tahun 2023.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Objective: Mental emotional health issues in adolescents often stem from imperfect self-control due to mood fluctuations and stress during this developmental phase. This study aims to assess the impact of mental emotional health education on adolescents' mental emotional status. Methods: Utilizing a quantitative approach with a True Experimental method, specifically a Pre-Post Control Group Design with Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT), the research involved adolescents from SMPN 4 Banyuwangi. The sample comprised 28 respondents in the experimental group receiving mental emotional health education and 28 in the control group receiving conventional education. Resukts: Results indicated a significant improvement in mental emotional status post-intervention. T-test analysis revealed p=0.039 for the experimental group and p=0.020 for the control group, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). This suggests that mental emotional health education is more effective in enhancing mental emotional status compared to conventional education. Conclusion: The findings underscore the importance of raising awareness about mental emotional health and implementing strategies to address related issues, highlighting the necessity of maintaining mental well-being among adolescents. This study advocates for increased focus on mental emotional health education to better equip adolescents in managing their mental health challenges.
