Abstract

The basic problem of SMK graduates is that most are still looking for work in companies, because the number of SMK graduates is not comparable to the employment opportunities in companies, so many are unemployed. Unemployment is open at the level of SMK graduates is still high. The results of an analysis of the economic potential of the open unemployment data in 2015 showed that over one third or 36.78% of vocational school graduates were still unemployed. Education and training for job seekers has not been maximally organized by the Tegal City Government to encourage them to become new entrepreneurs (WUB). There are still many vocational students who have difficulty getting into state universities because of lack of achievement. The government has provided a path of achievement, the selection process focuses on academic and non-academic achievements during high school / equivalent Seeing the above problems, the introduction of IT-based Aeromodelling to Grow Entrepreneurial Soul and Achievement, can increase student interest to switch his mind to try entrepreneurship and achievement. The introduction of IT-based Aeromodelling for Growing an Entrepreneurial Soul and Achievement turned out to be able to, increase students' interest in entrepreneurship and achievement in non-academic fields.

Abstract

Various problems faced by students in computer based test caused by the lack of tools to have trial test. This research is aimed to develop Smart Try Out System as a tool of computer based test and to know whether the tool is qualified to measure the students ability. The research method used in this research is Research and Development (RnD). The result of the study showed the response from teachers, media experts, and students. From the teachers, the percentage of the achievement reaches 92% at good qualification. From the media experts, the programming reach 80% at good qualification and the performance reach 76% at good qualification. Response from 10 students, the system reach 82,72% at good qualification. Response from 50 students, the system reach 87, 36% at good qualification. Based on the study, the writer developed a test device named Smart Try Out System which have response at good qualification. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat kepada anggota Himpunan Seluruh Pendidik dan Penguji Pendidikan Seluruh Indonesia (HISPPI) ini merupakan pengabdian masyarakat yang kedua kalinya. Pada kesempatan ini pengabdian masyarakat ini membahas pemanfaatan aplikasi perkantoran khususnya Microsoft Power Point untuk pembuatan materi presentasi anggota HISPPI dalam mendemontrasikan cara merias pengantin di Lembaga Kursus Kecantikan. Sebagian besar anggota HISPPI tidak mempunyai latar belakang komputasi, bahkan ada yang buta dengan penggunaan Ms.Office. Padahal setiap acara yang diselenggarakan oleh Lembaga Kursus, diharuskan menggunakan materi presentasi dimana isi presentsi tersebut adalah langkah-langkah tata rias yang langsung dipraktikkan kepada model. Maka para anggota HISPPI dituntut untuk dapat membuat materi presentasi yang dipersembahkan dengan praktik kepada model tanpa harus dioperasikan oleh operator yang mengoperasikan komputer. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan pada tanggal 1–3 Maret 2019 diikuti oleh anggota HISPPI yang kebanyakan para-para ibu pemilik Salon. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan cara pendampingan langsung pada pembuatan materi presentasi dengan luaran adalah video presentasi. Hanya 10% anggota HISPPI yang memiliki latar belakang komputer, dan 90% masih buta terhadap pembuatan materi presentasi. Setelah dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat ini 60% anggota HISPPI telah membuat materi presentasi berupa video presentasi.

Abstract

Politeknik Harapan Bersama merupakan salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Swasta yang ada di Kota Tegal. Perguruan Tinggi yang berdiri sejak tahun 2002 ini merupakan Perguruan Tinggi dengan perkembangan yang sangat pesat, mulai dari jumlah mahasiswa, lulusannya serta perkembangan dari infrastrukturnya. Perkembangan yang pesat ini perlu dibarengi dengan pemberian informasi yang cepat dan akurat. Banyaknya fasilitas diperlukan penyampaian informasi tentang fasilitas tersebut. Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi yang berkembang saat ini memberikan pengaruh yang luar biasa. Alat komunikasi smartphone berbasis Android makin banyak digunakan, kemajuan teknologi ini dapat membantu setiap orang dalam mencari informasi tentang keberadaan lokasi serta alamat suatu tempat yang sulit untuk dicari pada saat dibutuhkan. Salah satu teknologi yang sedang popular di kalangan masyarakat adalah teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) yang memadukan antara kondisi nyata dengan benda-benda maya menjadi satu kesatuan. Teknologi ini sudah banyak dimanfaatkan diberbagai bidang kehidupan. Pemanfaatan AR dalam upaya pengenalan kampus 1 Politeknik Harapan Bersama sangatlah efisien bagi mahasiswa dan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi Augmented Reality pengenalan Gedung Kampus 1 Politeknik Harapan Bersama adalah model SDLC sampai pada tahap pengujian sistem. Aplikasi ini menggunakan library Kudan SDK sistem Markerless yang mampu menampilkan objek berdasarkan titik koordinat dalam lingkungan nyata dengan bantuan smartphone. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi yang memberikan informasi terkait gedung Kampus 1 Politeknik Harapan Bersama melalui sebuah smartphone yang diarahkan langsung keobjek gedung yang ingin diketahui informasinya. Kata Kunci: Politeknik Harapan Bersama, GPS, Augmented Reality, Kudan SDK.

Abstract

Jimpitan is an activity at the RT (neighborhood) level, carried out every day, by collecting money from the houses in the RT 07 RW 01 village of Sokaraja Kidul. In carrying out each jimpitan activity, there are problems encountered, starting with recording errors, people who have paid are thought not to have paid, there are residents who have been registered for jimpitan but have never been withdrawn, every month there is a financial report for jimpitan, that also makes a lot of mistakes. Therefore, we propose an Android-based jimpitan financial application to help solve the problem. After trying to apply for a week, most of the problems can be resolved. Residents and RT administrators were also given questionnaires, to find out their responses to using the Android-based jimpitan financial application, the results were good, and the residents were suitable and had no difficulties.

Abstract

Lack of knowledge about how to use Microsoft Word has a negative impact on the efficiency and productivity of PKK members in Purwokerto Kulon Village. This hinders the production of important documents, reports and correspondence needed to carry out their activities. In addition, these limitations also reduce their opportunities to participate in broader administrative activities, hindering the empowerment and development of individuals and the community as a whole. PKK members focus on improving the welfare of families and communities through social, educational and health activities. Mastery of Microsoft Word is important for them because it makes it easier to create documents and increases efficiency in administrative tasks. The aim of Microsoft Word training for PKK members is to improve technological skills, administrative efficiency in organizational tasks, and support their empowerment in broader activities. The training method in community service is a combination of lectures, demonstrations and direct practice which begins with the distribution of a pre-test, implementation of training and ends with the distribution of a post-test. The target of this community service is the 18 PKK members of the Purwokerto Kulon subdistrict. A whole series of community service activities have been carried out. Counseling and training were successfully implemented and there was a significant increase in PKK members' knowledge regarding Microsoft Word. They are more adept at creating, editing documents, and are able to utilize features they were previously unable to master. When the pre-test was carried out, 27% of PKK members had mastered Microsoft Word, when the post-test was carried out there was an increase to 95% of members mastering the application. Community service activities were carried out according to plan and succeeded in increasing the knowledge of PKK members.
