Abstract

Pengelasan memiliki peran penting dalam proses manufaktur dan produksi. Tegangan sisa yang ditinggalkan oleh pengelasan dapat menciptakan peluang terjadinya retak akibat hydrogen. Untuk mencegah hal ini, tegangan sisa dapat dikurangi yaitu dengan cara PWHT. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisa posisi burner yang mempengaruhi ketercapaian atau pengoptimalan temperature, velocity, dan pressure saat proses PWHT berlangsung. Metode yang digunakan CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) salah satu cabang dari mekanika fluida yang menggunakan numerik dan algoritma untuk menyelesaikan dan menganalisis permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan aliran fluida Berdasarkan penelitian, nilai paling optimal untuk temperature ada pada inlet 2 yang lebih cepat mencapai titik 635 °C dengan waktu 310 second atau 5,16 menit, untuk velocity ada pada inlet 2 karena hasil lebih konstan arah pergerakannya dan tidak terlalu cepat namun memberikan hasil pada temperature yang lebih optimal nilai rata-rata kecepatan adalah 2,7 m/s, sedangkan untuk pressure ada pada model 2, dimana tekanan lebih stabil, tidak mengalami penurunan tekanan yang naik terus dan kemudian dilanjut dengan konstan dan tidak ada penurunan yang secara extream, nilai rata-rata dari pressure tersebut adalah 101358 Pa.

Abstract

The development of the industrial world is getting faster from time to time. The manufacturing industry is one of the industries that is very developed, especially in the use of technology. Although there have been some studies on the tensile strength of PLA filaments however, it is not yet clear about the effect of annealing treatment on the tensile strength of PLA filaments from 3D printers. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the effect of annealing temperature on the tensile strength of polylactic acid material printed by 3D printers. This research uses experimental methods with the following conditions: The filament used is polylactic acid (PLA), specimens are printed to ISO 527-2 standard and the annealing treatment temperature are 50⁰C and 70⁰C. From the results of testing and data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that annealing treatment is quite influential on the tensile strength value of polylactic acid (PLA) materials. The greater the annealing temperature, the higher the tensile strength value. At 50⁰C annealing the average tensile strength value is 15.89 MPa, while at 70⁰C annealing the average tensile strength value is 16.66 MPa.

Abstract

Siswa SMK khsususnya pada SMK Widyagama dengan jurusan Teknik dan bisnis sepeda motor sangat memerlukan skill untuk bisa mengoperasikan mesin-mesin produksi. Di SMK Widyagama sudah dilengkapi dengan mesin-mesin produksi konvensional namun belum memiliki mesin otomatis seperti CNC. Dengan adanya pelatihan CNC ini diharapkan kompetensi siswa akan meningkat yang menunjang jurusan Teknik dan bisnis sepeda motor. Siswa SMK Widyagama jurusan Teknik dan bisnis sepeda motor belum mengetahui cara kerja dan cara mengoperasikan mesin CNC bubut dan milling. Pelaksanaan kegiatan secara umum akan dibagi menjadi dua sesi untuk masing-masing kelompok siswa. Jumlah siswa yang akan mengikuti pengabdian sebanyak 10  siswa dari jurusan Teknik kendaraan ringan dan bisnis sepeda motor yang diambil dari siswa kelas 1. Sebelum dilaksanakan pelatihan, siswa mengerjakan pretest untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman siswa terhadap mesin CNC sebelum pelatihan. Setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan, siswa mengerjakan post-test untuk mengetahui pemahaman terkait dasar mesin CNC. Pelatihan pengoperasian mesin CNC EMCO TU-2A dan TU-3A di SMK Widyagama telah berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam bidang manufaktur. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan praktis, pemahaman teoritis, serta motivasi siswa.

Abstract

Passive Solar is still suitable for Indonesia's islands and coastal areas. Various attempts have been made to increase the performance of passive solar stills, including using porous materials, fins absorber models, and making water in the form of a thin layer. This study aims to increase the distillate output and Efficiency of Solar still. This study's method compares stone fin solar stills absorbers using water depth variations of 1 cm, 2 cm, and 3 cm with conventional solar stills at a water depth of 1 cm. The study resulted in the distillate output of stone fin solar still absorber of 3.35 (liter/m2 .day) higher than the conventional solar stills 2.44 (liter/m2 .day) at a depth of 1 cm. The highest Efficiency of solar stills using the stone fin solar still absorbers is 58.45% higher than conventional solar stills, 43.60% at a depth of 1 cm. Solar stills with lower water depths resulted in higher distillate output and Efficiency. Solar stills using stone fin absorbent plates produce higher productivity and Efficiency than conventional ones.

Abstract

The need for electricity is very important in the current era. However, there are still areas in Indonesia that have not received electricity, and there are also areas that have received electricity but experience rolling blackouts for several days a week. To overcome this, an alternative power plant is needed, namely a mini micro hydro power plant. The turbine in this power plant is able to function with water discharge below 10 meters, but can produce electrical power above 600 W to meet the electricity needs of each house adjacent to the water source. Given the natural resources (water sources) that are still abundant, it is unfortunate if they cannot be utilized properly. Another interesting factor of this mini-microhydro power plant is that the technology is relatively simple, and easily applied to areas that have mountainous topography and many rivers. In the process of making turbines, simulation steps are needed in the experiment so that it does not require a lot of money in the experiment, but produces a design that has high efficiency. From the analysis of the design simulation results, it can be concluded that the mini micro hydro crossflow turbine with 29 blades at a rotational speed of 700 rpm has the largest power and torque, namely 15.6 KW power and 210 N/m torque..

Abstract

In the utilization of natural products, one of which is stone, has a variety of functions and many industrial sectors require these products with certain sizes and specifications. The high demand must of course be in line with the availability of products of course with a variety of market demand criteria. From the industrial sector, careful planning needs to be done such as the risk when running production. Determining the right tool is needed to be optimal. As well as being able to maintain commitment to customers. The productivity of Stone Crusher plays a full role as the selling point of the stone products produced. Of course, understanding the production capacity of the tool is very necessary to maintain commitment with consumers and minimize the non-achievement of consumer demand. In the stone crusher project in Medan based on the analysis of production of 100 tons / hour or 71.42 m3 / hour for 8 hours of production with a stone density of 1400 kg / m3, the transport capacity is 200 m3 / day.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh variasi droplet filter cair pada gasifikasi tipe updraft menggunakan wood pellet sebagai bahan bakar. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan proses gasifikasi biomassa, meningkatkan efisiensi energi, dan mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Sistem nozzle sprayer digunakan untuk penyaringan syn-gas dengan larutan Ammonia (NH₃) dan NaOH sebagai media filter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi filter dengan 50% Ammonia dan 50% NaOH memberikan stabilitas tinggi dengan kandungan H₂ sebesar 195 PPM pada detik ke-1400. Selain itu, nilai HHV tertinggi sebesar 38.752 kJ/kg diperoleh pada filter 100% Ammonia, yang disebabkan oleh sifat amfoter Ammonia yang efektif mengikat gas asam seperti CO dan CH₄. Hasil ini menunjukkan potensi besar penggunaan filter berbasis larutan kimia untuk meningkatkan kualitas gas hasil gasifikasi dan mendukung produksi energi yang lebih bersih dan efisien.
