The rising of bullying phenomenon in education, especially in Indonesia, shows that bullying is still a severe problem in education. Bullying seems not to have preventive measures effectively and efficiently. In a psychological perspective, bullying behavior can affect various negative impacts for victims experienced, such as decreased learning motivation, an act of revenge against the bullying perpetrators, and loss of victim's confidence and learning interest so that the learning process at school is disrupted. Therefore, in this study, researchers tried to analyze bullying behavior by using several theoretical perspectives. As a result, conceptually, a critical analysis of bullying can be found, and a character-based approach is applied to foster confidence and learning motivation in bullying victims.

The development of science and technology, as well as the ease of access to information, can have a negative impact on people's attitudes and behavior, including the phenomenon of the diminishing patriotism of the younger generation. An attitude of patriotism is the initial foundation for state life and becomes the joints of life in the daily life of citizens. This study examines Islamic Religious Education as a basis for strengthening students' patriotism attitudes. This study aims to describe and demonstrate the role of Islamic Religious Education in strengthening students' patriotism attitudes. This study was conducted at Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Senior High School Surabaya using a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through observation and in-depth interviews. The results showed that Islamic Religious Education contains teachings and values â€‹â€‹that strengthen students' patriotism. Strategies for strengthening patriotism in Islamic Religious Education through exemplary advice and habituation in everyday life at school. This Islamic Religious Education Model is an alternative solution to arouse students' patriotism.

The Bontowon Kon Bui’an tradition in Bolaang Mongondow raises concerns regarding symbolic kinship severance prior to endogamous marriage, which may appear to conflict with Islamic principles that emphasize the sanctity of family ties. This study evaluates whether Bontowon Kon Bui’an constitutes ‘Urf ?a??? or contradicts Sharia principles. Qualitative fieldwork was conducted through participant observation, semi-structured interviews with customary and religious leaders, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using ‘Urf, maq??id al-shar?’ah, and living law frameworks. The findings suggest that the symbolic severance of kinship functions as a ritualized mechanism rather than an actual breach of family ties. The practice aligns local social norms with Islamic expectations, with religious authorities demonstrating contextual tolerance provided the practice is recognized culturally rather than theologically. From the maq??id al-shar?’ah perspective, the tradition fosters communal harmony, prevents familial conflict, and reinforces family honor. These results indicate that local customs can coexist with Sharia when interpreted through appropriate normative frameworks, illustrating the adaptive and negotiated nature of Islamic law in pluralistic cultural contexts. In conclusion, Bontowon Kon Bui’an exemplifies how symbolic local customs can harmonize with Islamic law without violating core Sharia principles. This study provides insights for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners on integrating customary practices with Islamic law to preserve social harmony and cultural values.

Memasuki abad ke-20 saat ini, terjadi lonjakan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang terjadi di seluruh dunia. Kemajuan teknologi informasi, perkembangan global, hingga adanya perubahan paradigma-paradigma baru pada sektor-sektor vital, menciptakan pola tatanan kehidupan baru yang perlu adanya penyesuaian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk penanaman sikap-sikap dan karakter secara komprehensif, sebagai respon terhadap arus modernisasi yang pesat, sehingga tercipta suasana yang penuh dengan kedamaian, kerukuran, persatuan dan kesatuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan model penelitian studi literatur. Telaah dokumen-dokumen dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan memetakan terkait sumber primer dan sekunder dalam penelitian ini. Selanjutnya, dilakukan analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil yang diperoleh ialah para stakeholder PAI tidak hanya sekedar merespons secara teoritik atas modernisasi, melainkan juga memhamai secara bijaksana dan menciptakan kebijakan-kebijakan sistematis untuk menyesuaikan dengan arus modernisasi dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Selain itu, dicetuskannya konsep integratif-interkonektif oleh M. Amin Abdullah menandai adanya transformasi paradigma secara menyeluruh dari berbagai bidang disiplin keilmuan Selain itu, penekanan terhadap pendidikan karakter melalui pendidikan agama Islam telah menjadi bagian dari fokus respons terhadap arus modernisasi.Keywords : Diskursus, Konsep Pendidikan Agama Islam, Modernisasi

Krisis ekologis global dan lokal yang ditandai oleh perubahan iklim, kerusakan lingkungan, serta eksploitasi sumber daya alam menuntut respons multidimensional, termasuk dari perspektif keagamaan. Islam, melalui konsep ekoteologi, menawarkan kerangka etis dan teologis yang menempatkan manusia sebagai khalifah yang bertanggung jawab menjaga keseimbangan alam. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi konsep ekoteologi dalam kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) serta memetakan arah penerapan dan kebijakan pendidikan dalam merespons problematika lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka (qualitative library research) dengan menganalisis berbagai literatur yang relevan terkait ekoteologi Islam, etika lingkungan, dan pendidikan Islam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai ekoteologi Islam seperti tauhid, khalifah, dan mizan, memiliki relevansi kuat untuk diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum PAI guna membangun kesadaran ekologis peserta didik. Namun demikian, implementasi nilai-nilai tersebut masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, antara lain keterbatasan materi ajar, minimnya pelatihan pendidik, serta resistensi terhadap pembaruan kurikulum. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan pedagogis yang kontekstual, reflektif, dan praksis, serta dukungan kebijakan pendidikan yang sinergis agar ekoteologi dapat diinternalisasikan secara efektif dalam pembelajaran PAI. Integrasi ekoteologi dalam pendidikan diharapkan mampu melahirkan generasi Muslim yang memiliki kesalehan spiritual sekaligus tanggung jawab ekologis.

This study aims to reconceptualize Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in the digital age by examining the dynamics of practice, knowledge, and power through a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach. While prior studies largely emphasize pedagogical and technological aspects, this research addresses the lack of critical analysis on discourse and epistemological transformation. Using Fairclough’s three-dimensional model (text, discursive practice, and social practice), this qualitative study analyzes digital Islamic educational content, including social media and online learning platforms. The findings indicate that digitalization reshapes religious knowledge in several ways. At the textual level, Islamic discourse tends to simplify complex concepts, leading to ideological reduction. At the discursive level, knowledge production becomes decentralized but is influenced by algorithmic logic and platform dynamics. At the social level, religious authority shifts from institutional legitimacy to digital symbolic capital based on visibility and popularity. The study reveals an epistemological paradox: digital media democratizes access to knowledge while simultaneously increasing risks of distortion and weakening validation mechanisms. This research contributes theoretically by integrating CDA into Islamic education studies and highlights the need to strengthen critical digital literacy and adaptive validation frameworks in contemporary IRE. Abstract: In today's modern era, the world of education has experienced changes in the learning system. In recent years, artificial intelligence has emerged as a transformative force in the education system in the modern era. This research aims to analyze the role of artificial intelligence in transforming learning in the modern era. The method used in this research is library research. The data collected is in the form of journal articles, research reports, and documents related to the topic discussed in this research. The analysis in this research uses content analysis. The research results show that the role of artificial intelligence in the learning process has a significant role. The use of artificial intelligence technology can provide an independent learning experience. Students can search for material according to their needs, and learning methods using artificial intelligence technology can increase student involvement, thereby creating high motivation in students. Therefore, artificial intelligence has great potential in transforming learning systems in the modern era. On the one hand, artificial intelligence can be a solution in the learning process in the modern era. And on the other hand, artificial intelligence can be a challenge in the world of education. Thus, to make maximum use of artificial intelligence requires caution regarding academic ethical issues.
