Abstract

Kualitas produk menjadi faktor utama dalam menentukan daya saing industri, terutama untuk usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis pengendalian cacat produksi pada produk sparepart motor "Begel" yang mencapai 5.153 produk cacat di UMKM IMVSPEEDSHOP dengan menggunakan metode Six Sigma pendekatan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian, Identifikasi cacat menunjukkan beberapa jenis kerusakan utama, seperti goresan, Permukaan tidak rata dan retakan atau patahan, yang disebabkan oleh faktor manusia, material, metode, dan mesin. Sebelum perbaikan, tingkat kecacatan mencapai 27.875 DPMO (sigma 3,41), dan menurun menjadi 11.750 DPMO (sigma 3,77) setelah implementasi perbaikan. Upaya perbaikan mencakup pelatihan, pengawasan, peningkatan bahan baku, serta perawatan mesin. Hasilnya, produk cacat berkurang signifikan dan terjadi penghematan biaya sebesar Rp. 101.781.000 atau 43,6%. Hasil studi membuktikan keefektifan metode ini dalam mengurangi pemborosan, meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, dan menjaga konsistensi kualitas produk. Implementasi sistem pengendalian kualitas yang lebih baik diharapkan dapat mendorong daya saing UMKM di pasar yang terbukti kompetitif.

Abstract

Duta Beton Mandiri is a Duta Bangsa Group company based in Pasuruan Regency. PT. Duta Beton Mandiri is a manufacturing company that was founded in 2008 and operates in the building materials or concrete industry. We implement 5R (Care, Neat, Clean, Diligent, Concise) and work safety (K3) at the PT paving stone production site. Duta Beton Mandiri is a strategic initiative to increase production efficiency while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. The aim of this research is to evaluate the implementation of the 5R and K3 principles and to conduct an audit to determine compliance with applicable K3 standards. Research methods include direct observation of production sites, interviews with employees, and analysis of relevant materials. Research shows that implementing the 5R principles reduces waste and optimizes resource use. In addition, efforts to implement K3 have increased awareness of risk factors and reduced work accidents. However, there is still much room for improvement, especially in terms of increasing the use of personal protective equipment and machine maintenance.

Abstract

Duta Beton Mandiri Purwosari who produces Paving in Purwosari. This company is located in Sawur Village. The initial stage before production must be to prepare the raw materials. One of the raw materials in this process is sand. The sand in this company is experiencing a problem, namely excess raw materials resulting in waste. This MRP method is one of the methods used to reduce both costs and stock. MRP is defined as "A system that creates a production process schedule that is targeted at the raw material data required to produce the company's final product. Lot Size is information regarding the order quantity, order schedule, and the lot sizing technique used. This information is then used by MRP to determine the order quantity. The results of the calculations that have been carried out are: quantity of raw materials = 4000 pcs, raw material costs = Rp. 12,000,000. The results of the MRP method with the Lot for Lot technique are changes in the quantity of raw materials ( cartons) and costs thereby reducing waste, so that the results of the MRP method using the Lot For Lot technique are the number of raw materials = 512 pcs, raw material costs = Rp. 1,536,000. The application of MRP using the lot for lot technique has been proven to be able to increase efficiency, reduce costs and the amount of raw materials ordered so that PT's production process is effective. Duta Beton Mandiri Purwosari can be improved.

Abstract

Sebagai Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA), dibutuhkan persiapan yang lebih bagi UKM maupun Home industri agar dapat menghadapi MEA dengan baik dan kompetitif. Persaingan yang ketat antar negara di Asia Tenggara ini menjadikan setiap negara harus bersaing aktif. Namun dengan adanya Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN juga merupakan peluang dan tantangan bagi Home industri maupun UKM untuk mengembangkan perekonomian Indonesia dan untuk dapat mengembangkan perekonomian Indonesia harus menjadi subyek dalam MEA. Merespon keserahan tersebut, pemerintah Indonesia bergegas dan bersiap menjembatani masyarakat dalam menghadapi MEA 2015. Pada tahun 2014, salah satu usaha dari pemerintah adalah dengan mengesahkanan dan melaksanakan UU Nomor 7 tahun 2014 mengenai perdagangan (Akmail 2014). Undang-undang tersebut dibuat dengan tujuan agar dapat meningkatkan daya saing Indonesia dan melindungi produk dalam negeri. Model Pengendalian Persediaan sangat penting diterapkan terutama di setiap Home Industri Pengolahan Jamur di kabupaten pasuruan untuk dapat meminimalkan biaya persediaan. Selama ini di Home Industri Pengolahan Jamur di kabupaten pasuruan telah melakukan perhitungan dengan menggunakan rumus umum total biaya persediaan pada umumnya, namun kemudian penulis mencoba memberikan model perhitungan yang sebelumnya belum dilakukan yakni dengan metode EOQ (economic order quantity). Metode EOQ merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengetahui jumlah persediaan bahan baku terbaik yang dibutuhkan perusahaan untuk menjaga kelancaran produksinya dengan biaya yang efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengendalikan dan mengoptimalkan persediaan bahan baku pada safety stock dengan menerapkan metode Economic Order Quantity (Jumlah pemesanan ekonomis) pada sistem produksinya. Dari hasil pengamatan saat ini berdasarkan pada pengendalian persediaan pada Home Industri Pengolahan Jamur masih dikategorikan belum ekonomis karena besar biaya pemesanan (annual ordering cost) dan biaya Penyimpanan (annuan holding cost) tidak relatif sama. Hal ini menyebabkan total persediaan tidak mampu mencapai minimum. Diharapkan dalam penerapan metode EOQ ini dapat memberikan solusi kepada Home Industri Pengolahan Jamur di kabupaten Pasuruan sehingga total biaya persediaan dapat mencapai minimum. Ketentuan pemesanan diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan menggunakan persamaan model EOQ yang dikenal dengan Wilson Formula.

Abstract

PT. Suwarni Agro Mandiri Mojokerto Plant adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri pupuk. PT. Suwarni Agro Mandiri Mojokerto plat menghasilkan produk berupa pupuk granule, baik organik maupun anorganik. PT. Suwarni Agro Mandiri mengalami masalah kualitas pada kekerasan produk granule. Masalah terjadi karena kompisisi bahan baku yang kurang optimal. Dengan standart kekerasan 0.8 kilogram Force (kgf), banyak komplain dari konsumen, dikarenakan setelah produk di terima konsumen, banyak granule yang hancur dan berupa tepung kembali.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi penyebab cacat pupuk organik phospat granule dan mencari solusi mengatasi produk cacat pada pupuk organik phospat granule dengan metode Statistical Process Control (SPC), untuk mengurangi cacat produk yang dihasilkan dan menghindari komplain dari konsumen.Penelitian ini menghitung banyak produk cacat selama 1 bulan sebelum perbaikan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan peta kontrol setelah itu dilakukan perbaikan dengan penambahan perekat (clay), dan menghitung banyak cacat setelah perbaikan.

Abstract

UD.PRO wijaya, perusahaan pengayakan pasir tenaga manusia , ingin berpindah ke usaha penggilingan batu tenaga mesin, namun terkendala pada pengetahuan akan potensi usaha yang akan dijalankan sehingga dibutuhkan penelitian berkenaan dengan kelayakan usaha guna menjawab permasalahan tersebut menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasilnya penelitian menunjukkan usaha yang dijalankan tidak berbentuk badan usaha sehingga tidak ada izin badan usaha ke instansi terkait , yang diperlukan hanya izin kepala desa sebagai perwakilan masyarakat desa yang berkenan memberi izin. BBM, pertumbuhan ekonomi, keuntungan demografis merupakan faktor penentu meningkatnya permintaan batu. Berdasarkan analisis pasar dan pemasaran diperkirakan rata – rata penawaran produk penggilingan batu tahun 2012 – 2015 sebanyak 1441 m3/h. Untuk analisis permintaan diperoleh rata – rata permintaan dari tahun 2012 – 2015 rata – rata 1726 m3/h. Untuk analisis teknis produksi batu yang dihasilkan berupa batu ukuran 1:1, 1:2 , 2:3, 3:5 dan abu batu. Estimasi waktu pembangunan diperkirakan setidaknya 60 hari.Proyeksi kebutuhan tenaga kerja terdiri dari tenaga kerja pembangunan dan tenaga kerja operasional.Adapun modal yang digunakan adalah 100% modal sendiri dengan keuntungan perhari sebanyak Rp. 5.477.830.kesimpulan akhir yaitu dalam waktu dekat ini tidak layak dilakukan hingga kondisi pasar pulih.

Abstract

XXX is a bio industry company that produces MSG, lysine, and tryptophane which can not be separated from issues that corresponded with the Effectiveness of the machine caused by six big losses. Hence, some effective and effecient steps are needed to overcome and prevent the issue. This research focused on evaporator machine in refinery MSG section. The purpose of this research were to analyze the six big losses factors in evaporator machines, to find out overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) value of the evaporator machines, and to purpose improvement efforts based on total productive maintenance (TPM) concept. This research used OEE measurement method, pareto diagram, and cause-effeect diagram to examine existing problem to give solution improvement for the problem. The results showed that 2 most effecting factors of low efficiency in evaporator machine were breakdown losses amount 4,7% and reduced speed losses amount 2,5%. While the results of the OEE calculation carried out on the evaporator machine, the highest OEE value occurred in February 2017 at 88.9% and the lowest OEE value occurred in April at 84.5%. This value is within the OEE standard range of 85%, but fixed improvements must be made to the efficiency of the company. Therefore the proposed corrective actions were to focus of the implementation of autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, and training and education from the 8 pillars of TPM.

Abstract

Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a system of maintenance and repair of machines or equipment involving all divisions and employees ranging from operators to top management based on mutually agreed commitments. The methodology used in writing this thesis uses field studies, namely by making observations and direct research on machine maintenance systems at PT. SNA Medika, while the purpose of this paper is to conduct an analysis of the maintenance management system of the doomby shuttle loom machine that is applied at PT. SNA Medika and provide suggestions for improvement of the maintenance system by implementing a preventive system using the maintenance method of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) consisting of total effectiveness variables, and calculating and analyzing the total effectiveness variables contained in the TPM system by using the TPM Index method. Implementation of the maintenance system or treatments that refer to the application of the 5R work culture are less effective. This is indicated by the still high rate of engine failure, high engine downtime, and low values ​​of effectiveness, such as the effectiveness of machine availability (AV), production effectiveness (PE), effectiveness of quality level (RQ), and overall effectiveness of machines and equipment ( OEE). Through the analysis of the Cause and Effect diagram, it can be seen that the overall effectiveness of the machine is still 64% (not yet meeting the JIPM standard,> 85%). Therefore a production machine maintenance program is made using the TPM method, which consists of maintenance by the operator and the formation of small group activities (AKK).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of kapuk seed waste at PT. Raja Indonesia Perkasa Suwayuwo uses the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) method. Kapuk seed waste, which is produced in significant quantities (5 tons/day), has not been optimally utilized despite containing economic potential such as oil (24-40%) and bioactive compounds. The research method involved qualitative and quantitative approaches, with data collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires of 15 respondents. The SWOT analysis identifies internal (strengths and weaknesses) and external (opportunities and threats) factors, which are assessed using a Likert scale of 1-4. The results of the validity and reliability test showed a reliable research instrument (Cronbach's Alpha > 0.60). The SWOT cartesian chart places companies in Quadrant II, showing external opportunities such as government and technology support, but internal weaknesses such as reliance on manual machines and a lack of innovation. The recommended strategy is a turn around, which is to take advantage of external opportunities to address internal weaknesses, such as employee training and technology adoption.
