The purpose of this study was to redesign the layout of outpatient and inpatient registration at PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital to be more ergonomic and in accordance with standards. This study used descriptive qualitative research. The unit of analysis in this study used 12 informants consisting of outpatient and inpatient registration officers. Abstract

A survey conducted by the Indonesian Hospital Association found that 50% of hospitals had implemented an electronic medical record system and only 16% had implemented electronic medical records properly. There needs to be preparation such as training, computer access, the attitude of health workers and the presence of technicians in implementing electronic medical records. This study aims to determine the relationship between training, presence of technicians, attitudes and computer access on the willingness to use electronic medical records among health workers. This research uses a systematic review and meta-analysis with dependent variables in the form of training, presence of technicians, attitudes and computer access and an independent variable in the form of willingness to use electronic medical records, which later these variables are transformed into PICO. Articles were selected using prism flow with inclusion criteria and data analysis using the Review Manager 5.3 application. A total of 12 articles met the inclusion criteria with a total sample of 5,171 health workers. The results of the meta-analysis research show that the forest plot shows that there is a relationship between training, the presence of technicians, attitudes and computer access and the willingness to use electronic medical records among health workers. Meanwhile, the funnel plot results for the presence of officers and computer access are symmetrical, while those for training and attitudes have the potential for publication bias.

Abstract

Primary health care (PHC) is increasingly required to implement targeted, adaptive, and evidence-based health promotion in line with the growth of digital health technologies. Nevertheless, the utilization of routine medical record data as a foundation for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to support health promotion in PHC remains limited. Key constraints include fragmented information systems, high data processing burdens, and restricted analytic capacity. This study aimed to explore existing practices, barriers, and system development needs related to medical record based CRM to strengthen data-driven health promotion, with particular attention to data integration. A qualitative exploratory study was conducted in 2025 at PHC Wagir, Malang District, Indonesia. Data were obtained through semi-structured in-depth interviews with two key informants: a health promotion officer and a medical record and health information (RMIK) officer. Thematic analysis focused on five domains: current systems, use of data in PHC programs, challenges in data provision and utilization, information system requirements, and expectations for system development. The findings indicate that health promotion data are dispersed across multiple non-integrated applications, leading to double data entry, spreadsheet-based reprocessing, limited filtering, and minimal trend analysis or target segmentation. System instability and limited human resources further constrain analytic use. Informants emphasized the need for an integrated “single window” system featuring automated summaries, flexible filtering, disease trend visualization, multiuser access, and cross program integration. This study advances informatics in public health by proposing a socio technical framework for data-driven CRM implementation in resource limited primary care settings.

This research is a descriptiv study using the ABK Kes method (Health Workload Analysis). The research was conducted in the medical records unit of Pasar Rebo Regional Hospital. The populations in this study was all medical record staff at Pasar Rebo Regional Hospital, totaling 46 people. The data in this study were analyz use the ABK Kes method to obtain the number of record staff needed at Pasar Rebo Regional Hospital. Based on the results of the calculations of staff needs using the ABK Kes method, the number of Human Resources needed for the medical records unit is 55 people. Thus, it can be conclude that the numbers of staff in the medical record unit at Pasar Rebo Regional Hospital does not match its needs, where Pasar Rebo Regional Hospital lacks 9 staff/officers in the medical records unit.
