Abstract

The existence of this pandemic has an impact on the world of education, so teaching and learning activities at SMKN 9 Kota Tangerang are conducted online using Google Classroom and WhatsApp social media in order to stay connected with teachers in school. This research aims to find out the influence of social media use in the process of learning English online during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMKN 9 Kota Tangerang. This research uses a type of quantitative research, using descriptive methods of correlation. The study sample was determined using cluster random sampling, namely students of class XI SMKN 9 Kota Tangerang. Based on the results of the study, namely the use of social media obtained by students of SMKN 9 Kota Tangerang with high social media use as many as 60 students (80%), while the use of social media is low as many as 15 students (20%). While based on the results of research the online English learning process was obtained by students of SMKN 9 Kota Tangerang with the process of learning English online both as many as 48 students (64%), and the process of learning English less good as many as 27 students (36%). There is an influence on the use of social media with the process of learning English online with a value of P value 0.030.

Abstract

The improvement of quality in the field of education is one of the development goals in the field of national education. A person's success in learning can be seen by the changes that occur in a person in attitudes, thinking abilities, and skills. In an effort to keep pace with the development of science and technology, English has now become one of the lessons that must be mastered by students. The research is quantitative with an analytical research design using the populan cross sectional method as many as 149 and the number of samples used. using namus sobin as 109 people.. The results of the analysis using chi square with a p value was 0.000 <0.05,so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between learning motivation and English language skills.

Abstract

Background: The research was conducted by a teacher with the aim of improving the quality of learning for pupils. This was done in response to the low average learning outcomes of students of grade III at SDIT Al Madinah district of Maros, where only about 33% of the 24 pupils achieved grades in PKn subjects. Subject and Methods: Classroom Action Research (CAR) is conducted at SDIT Al Madinah in Maros district using class III C as a research subject, consisting of 24 pupils. The research consists of three cycles and each cycle has four stages: 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, 3) Observation, and 4) Reflection. Results: From data analysis, both qualitative and quantitative descriptive, it was revealed that before the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) method, the average student learning score was 67,09. However, after the implementation of the TGT method, there was a significant improvement so that the average learning score reached 71,67. In the first cycle, as many as 19 pupils have achieved the learning level, while the other 5 pupils have not reached it. In the second cycle the average learning performance of pupils has increased to 79.58 and the total of 24 students have reached the score of competence, achieving 100% success. Conclusion: Using the learning method Team Games Tournament (TGT) has improved pupils' learning results in PKn subjects in the third grade of SDIT Al Madinah district of Maros. Abstract

Angka kejadian tifoid di Indonesia dilaporkan sebesar 1,7% berdasarkan data Riset Kesehatan Dasar. Hal ini terjadi karena mereka tidak menyadari pentingnya menjaga kebersihan makanan dan lingkungan.  Hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku pencegahan demam tifoid pada remaja tingkat Sekolah Menengah di Kabupaten Tangerang dilakukan dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dengan desain penelitian observasional analitik, teknik sampling menggunakan Non-Probability Sampling dengan Metode Accidental Sampling yang terdiri dari 114 responden. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Uji Korelasi Spearman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, mayoritas responden (53,5%) berpengetahuan cukup, dan hasil perilaku pencegahan demam tifoid menunjukkan mayoritas berperilaku positif (98 responden, 86,0%). Uji Korelasi Spearman menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan (p-value <0,05) antara tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku pencegahan demam tifoid, dengan koefisien 0,404 yang menunjukkan korelasi positif yang sedang.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui etika dan minat belajar Siswa SMP/SMA Pasca Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di Wilayah Tangerang Tahun 2022. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan menganalisis fenomena yang terjadi. Metode analisis kualitatif ini menghasilkan data yang membentuk hasil wawancara, transkrip wawancara, catatan hasil pengamatan, dokumen-dokumen tertulis serta catatan- catatan yang tidak terekam selama pengumpulan data berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa etika dan minat peserta didik dalam kategori cukup. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pasca pembelajaran Jarak Jauh era pandemic COVID-19 yang terjadi dalam kurun waktu 2 tahun berdampak pada penurunan etika peserta didik yang dapat dilihat dari sikap sosial peserta didik kepada guru dan teman sejawatnya dan cenderung terlihat dari respon sosial. Penurunan etika peserta didik terlihat signifikan pada masa pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas, Minat belajar peserta didik dilihat dari 4 aspek yakni perasaan senang, keterlibatan siswa, ketertarikan, dan perhatian siswa memiliki rata-rata presentase 52,79 % termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Dari keempat aspek tersebut mayoritas ketertarikan belajar menempati urutan tertinggi yaitu 58,68% dan dalam kategori cukup, Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari pembelajaran jarak jauh masa pandemic COVID-19 adalah intensitas penggunaan handphone pada peserta didik cukup tinggi. Respon sosial berkurang ditandai dengan sikap kurang peduli terhadap lingkungan sekitar.

Abstract

Verbal aggression is a form of communication that damages the self-concept of others, frustration, embarrassment, anxiety, and anger, and can also damage relationships so that it can cause physical aggression. This study aimed to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and verbal aggressive behavior of junior high school students. The research design in this study is quantitative research with observational analysis, a study of the Cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used a proportionate stratified random sampling of 164 respondents of junior high school students at an Islamic junior high school in Tangerang District, Indonesia. Data analysis using the Spearman Correlation Test. Based on the study's results, most respondents with high emotional intelligence amounted to 83 respondents (50.6%), and the results of low verbal aggressive behavior amounted to 96 (58.5%). The results of the Spearman rho test obtained a significance value of 0.0000.05, so it can be said that H0 is rejected, it can be said that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and verbally aggressive behavior with a correlation of -0.674 coefficient, it is said to be a strong correlation with the direction of negative correlation.
